Creamy squid pasta will turn out even tastier if you add a strong alcoholic drink to the sauce. AT this case the recipe may look like this: 300 grams of squid (shrimps or a cocktail can be used), 350 grams of any pasta, 2 cloves of garlic, 3 tablespoons of thick tomato sauce, 6 tablespoons of cream, ground pepper, 100 milliliters of brandy, a little salt, vegetable oil and parsley.

Everything is prepared as usual:

  1. Pass the garlic through a press and fry in oil in a hot frying pan.

  3. Pour in the brandy and bring the mixture to a boil.

  5. After 2-3 minutes, pour chopped greens into the pan and immediately turn off the heat.
  6. Beat the third part of the sauce separately with a mixer, and then pour it into the total mass again. This will make it more fluffy and uniform.
  7. Put the pre-boiled and washed pasta into the pan and mix slowly.

Now the dish is ready to eat.

If you want to cook something original, tasty and very satisfying, then the best option there will be pasta with squid in a creamy sauce. The recipe can be supplemented with mushrooms to give the dish a special flavor. Few products will be needed. When bubbles appear on the surface of the water in the pot, add a little oil and salt. Put the pasta in a bowl of water and cook as directed on the package. It is advisable to cook them before Al Dente. Then put them aside in a colander.

Next, prepare the tomato sauce. We put the pan on a large fire. Pour in olive oil and tomato paste. Simmer for about a minute. Put the seafood in the tomatoes and simmer for about 2 more minutes. Salt, pepper, add garlic, spices and lemon juice. Stir for one more minute. And immediately remove from the fire. The sauce is ready.

To serve, either mix the pasta with the tomato sauce, or put the pasta on a plate and top with the tomato mixture.

The second option is pasta with squid in sour cream sauce

Grocery list:

  • Pasta (preferably spaghetti) - 0.5 kilograms;
  • Squids - 4 pieces;
  • Sour cream 15-20% - 200 grams;
  • Onions - 1-2 pieces;
  • Starch - 1 teaspoon;
  • Flour - 1 teaspoon;
  • Water - 0.5 cups;
  • Standard Italian spices;
  • Salt;
  • Pepper.

Let's boil the spaghetti first. Put the pasta in boiling salted water with the addition of oil so that the spaghetti does not stick together. After cooking, immediately discard the product in a colander. While the pasta is cooking, you can cut the squid into rings.

The first striking difference from Italian cuisine is that we will marinate our “seafood”. It is better to cut the carcasses into strips, not rings. Set aside in a bowl, add soy sauce, lemon juice and pepper. And leave to marinate for 5-7 minutes.

At this point, chop the onion and pepper into small cubes. Pour oil into a wok and fry the garlic until golden brown, then immediately pull it out so that it does not give bitterness. After removing the garlic, lower the seafood into the pan. As soon as moisture begins to stand out, pour the pepper and onion, mix well. This must be done on low to moderate heat. The juice stood out more - pour in the cream, mix, mix and cover with a lid for 20-25 minutes. Be careful not to reduce the gravy by more than half.

At this point, boil the spaghetti, and then mix well with the sauce. That's it, the dish is ready.

With the help of squid, you can originally diversify ordinary pasta. They go well with tomato and sour cream sauces, but if this seemed insufficient to you, try the third recipe. You won't regret it. Usually when people hear the word squid, they imagine their battered rings, although this seafood is a great addition to spaghetti. It takes the standard pasta to the next level.

My family loves spaghetti, so often I have to cook different variations, try different additions.

Spaghetti with squid in a creamy sauce is my granddaughter's favorite dish, so I cook it for her quite often. And that's why I have a secret how to make this dish even tastier!

Of course, squid must be fresh, smell good. I am very lucky, I buy already peeled squids, I can immediately start cooking.

If you have unpeeled squids, you should send them to boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Then remove from boiling water and pour cold water. And then it is easy to peel off the pinkish-lilac film from the squid, and do not forget to remove the chitinous plate from the carcass itself.

We will prepare all the products according to the list and proceed to cooking the dish.

Immediately put a pot of spaghetti water on the fire and let the water boil.

While the water is heating, let's take care of the squid. Cut squid carcasses into long strips. To do this, we will make one cut along the carcass, we will get an unfolded carcass, so we cut it into strips. Although you can cut into rings, if desired.

IMPORTANT: squid must be cut into strips. Stripes should not be thin.

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the squid strips for literally 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add salt, pepper and ground dried garlic.

We add cream. Cooking squid in cream for another 4-5 minutes.

Throw a pinch of salt and spaghetti into boiling water.

Cook spaghetti in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. We just want the spaghetti to get softer. Drain the spaghetti in a colander and let the water drain.

Transfer the spaghetti to the skillet with the squid. Mix well the squid, cream and spaghetti.

Cover the pan with a lid, reduce the heat to low and cook the dish until the spaghetti is fully cooked, another 7-8 minutes. During this time, the spaghetti will soak up the creamy sauce.

Serve ready-made spaghetti with squid in a creamy sauce in portions, sprinkled with fresh green onions and sweet paprika flakes (optional).
