The difficulties of an independent life - this is, perhaps, the school that you need to go through in order to "acquire chitin." In the first year in Moscow there was everything: deceptions, scams, lack of money, hunger, odd jobs.

I remember that on December 30 it was necessary to rent an apartment. I signed up for Mosfilm in the crowd for some pennies. I met a girl there, and we decided to rent a house for two, so that it would be cheaper. We brought all the money we earned to the agent, but in the end we were banally thrown ... Before New Year two days, it's cold outside, no money. Somehow found an apartment in Korolev. Or rather, a hostel on the highway ... The hostess warned us that we would live in a pantry. It was some kind of small littered room, inside there were four broken TVs, two sofas, a bunch of some kind of rags, instead of glass on the windows there was plastic film. In general, he went through all the circles of hell!

For the first three years after I left, my parents didn't even talk to me. Mom was mortally offended by me. I called home, and in response I heard an indifferent: “Who is this? You have the wrong number". Mom is a very principled person.

Of course, I dreamed of reconciling with my parents, but did not know how to do it. Once I was invited to shoot a program "Moment of glory". I did not want to participate in this show and agreed only on the condition that in the final of the issue I would apologize to my family all over the country and it would not be cut out. The producers of the TV channel gave the go-ahead. At that time, I was still a student, I did not really have a good professional education, nor the practice of speaking in front of an audience. I messed up. I think this is normal for any aspiring artist. But the main thing is that I still managed to say important words addressed to my parents in front of the camera. (laughing.) Yes, half an hour after my arrival, I wanted to buy a ticket back! Scared. But then something happened. Mysticism haunts me in my life: I often meet people who have a connection with subtle matters and feel me very well. And then a woman came up to me, took my hand and said: "Don't be afraid, you will succeed." I thought it was a sign and stayed. I have a strong character. Now, probably, I would not have dared to do this, but in my youth I was some kind of adventurer (Alex is 30 years old. - Note. OK!).

What did you do to make yourself known?

I entered the Institute of Contemporary Art in the department of pop-jazz vocals, and without exams. In the entire history of the institute, this was the second case when a person was taken on the budget as an exception. But I only finished six months. I was older than the rest, and I need older companies to learn something. And I left, just continued to study vocals with one teacher there. Then he tried to open up through contests: "Star Factory", "People's Artist", "X-factor". But the script always repeated itself: I got to the last qualifying round and heard the same thing: “Thank you, no.”

What did he live on? Did your parents help?

We had not spoken for three years then. My mother was mortally offended by me because I left. There are three of us in the family: me, my brother and my older sister. My brother is a gouging boxer, my sister is a housewife who didn't need anything. I was the only one my parents relied on, and that turned out to be a “sick” person who, you see, wanted to sing. Therefore, the family categorically refused to talk to me.

What about your agreement?

Mom seemed to let me go to free bread, but ... ( Shrugs.) In general, nothing worked for me. And for some reason I have very few friends in life, so there was nowhere to go, no one to turn to. I performed somewhere so as not to die of hunger, but there was still no money. I remember that before the new year, 2012, I came to Mosfilm to act in extras - for this they gave as much as five hundred rubles. Then I began to slowly make arrangements, and my song “Let My Soul Go” got on one of the most popular radio stations in Belarus, where it instantly became popular. Soon I received a call from the main Belarusian TV channel and offered to go to Minsk to participate in the selection for Eurovision. I passed it, but the contract was just enslaving, and I refused, overnight canceling the prospect of participating in Eurovision, and in Slavyansky Bazaar, and on the New Wave. I lived in Belarus for nine months, collected some money and returned to Moscow, where I immediately went to the “Minute of Glory”.

And again heard “no, thanks”?

And I came there for another - to ask my parents for forgiveness. ( smiling.) The effect was not long in coming. Literally a day later, my mother called me in tears and said that all of Magadan had condemned her for cruelty. ( laughing.) I want to say a big thank you to her for this experience, for this school of survival. In general, we reconciled, and I was finally able to exhale a little. At the same time began advertising "Voice". At first, I didn’t even think about going there: if you regularly hear “no”, you start to think that all the contests have been bought. But my friends called me, they said: "Yes, try." And I sent an electronic application, attaching all my videos. And I was very surprised when I was invited to a blind audition. People there fainted from excitement and lost their sight, and my knees didn’t even tremble, because I didn’t expect anything. And this inner relaxation, probably, saved me.

Mystery. All the participants had a lot of performance experience behind them, there were guys who just tore me to shreds, and I came as such a young falcon, inexperienced everywhere. My mentor, Dima Bilan, later noticed more than once that at rehearsals I showed myself terribly, gave out complete trash, and only on the set, when either pan or disappeared, when there is only one chance to show the maximum of my capabilities, at such a stalemate moment I got good results. And it so happened that on my last day on the project - when I was kicked out - I was noticed by people who later became my producers. And it turned out very interesting. As I said, mysticism is often present in my life. And shortly before that day, I was walking down the street, a woman stopped me and said: “I see two people standing behind you - a man and a woman. I have already moved my family to Moscow. Magadan is a dying provincial town. We lived very poorly. Mostly for my mother's paramedical salary. My dad was not only a builder, but also a policeman. There was barely enough money to feed three children. And then mom showed herself, doing just a terrible thing. She is the head of the family - head and neck. The state then allocated a three-room apartment to the parents. Mom sold it and opened a store with the proceeds. I remember this time as a nightmare and I don’t understand how she decided to put absolutely everything on the line, because for about a month we lived on the street, in some kind of boxes. My brother and I were very young. In general, from a paramedic, my mother turned into a businesswoman, she is simply brilliant! Its network began to expand rapidly, money appeared - everything worked out.

And why did you move your family to Moscow if life improved there?

For him, the family, of course, is important, but he is a different person. And then my mother calls me and cries: "I'm talking to the TV." I understood that I could not return to Magadan, but I could not leave her either. So I forced my parents to sell everything there and buy housing in Moscow.

So you are now the head of the family?

Dad recently said an interesting phrase. Once we went for a walk, and my parents left me behind. Then I hear my mother say to my father: "Let's run faster, Sasha will swear." And dad - to me: “Hey, hello, I didn’t understand, when did you build the whole family ?!” ( Laughs.) I am a grateful son and now I try to show my parents the world. It's so nice when, somewhere in an unfamiliar country, your mother holds your hand tightly and is afraid to let go so as not to get lost, and you understand what, in essence, she is a child - my mother, who has always been an example for me to follow. What is your relationship with your brother? They say twins have a special bond.

When two develop together in the womb, whether you like it or not, there will be a connection. We feel each other very well. If something hurts me, he can put his hand - and everything will pass. The most interesting thing is that I am convinced that I live by the fate of Grisha. Everything that happens to me should really happen to him. And all the people who feel subtle matters say that Grisha has become my companion, that without him nothing will work out for me. And this is true: when we are apart, everything falls out of my hands.

And what does “I live by the fate of Grisha” mean?

It all started with the fact that my mother, in her third month of pregnancy, fell down the stairs, and we turned over in the womb, I pressed Grisha's umbilical cord. So, when we were born, I was such a swollen child that I could not see my eyes, and Grisha, on the contrary, turned out to be small, because all the food went to me. Apparently, this was reflected in our fate. In addition, when my mother was given an ultrasound before giving birth, three large parts were reflected on the screen - two heads, one butt. The fourth part was not found. And they said to my mother: "You have freaks." Mom then remembered a terrible example from her own practice, which she saw when she was still studying in medicine: the babies in the womb caught their chins and during childbirth two heads went into the mother's pelvis. No woman will give birth in such a situation. And at the same time they save the woman in labor, so ... And my mother has a one-on-one story. “I knew perfectly well how it could end,” she said about it. They wanted to give her anesthesia, but she herself went to the operating room, sat down in a chair, took a scalpel and cut her stomach. "Otherwise you will not be born" - that's her thought at that moment. There is a very ugly seam on her stomach. I bow before her. And then, when three months later, my mother went to the registry office to receive birth certificates, it turned out that our names were mixed up. Until that moment, my name was Grisha, and my brother Sasha. This is the story we have with Grishka.

I am sure that as individuals you are very different.

Highly. At school and at the institute, I was always a gray mouse - I can’t describe it differently, but Grishka was a bandit. Oh, and it annoyed me! I studied well, he - poorly. He fought in the doorways - I was a sissy. He is very amorous and has already had two marriages. I am monogamous by nature, my relationships are always long, for three or four years.
