It should immediately be noted that instead of kefir, you can take drinking yogurt, curdled milk or another fermented milk product. Pour semolina with kefir and leave to swell for 30 minutes. In the meantime, you can peel and grate the carrots on a fine grater. Its type and size do not matter. If only in the end you get 1.5 cups of carrot mass. Of course, you can use a grater with large holes, but then you get a less uniform dough structure.

Margarine must be melted to a liquid state and cooled so that it is not hot. In the swollen semolina, add the egg, sugar, vanilla sugar. We mix everything. Then add the sifted flour and baking soda, stir again.

Now you can pour in the margarine and put the carrot mass into the dough, mix the contents of the bowl again. The dough should not be thick.

We spread it on a baking sheet or a frying pan covered with baking (parchment) paper and greased with vegetable oil, level it and send it to the oven for 40 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees. If your baking dish is not damaged (not deformed), then the cake will not burn, there is no need to cover it with paper.
