Sometimes, however, you have to rotate the camera with your finger in the center of the screen and switch weapons in the upper right corner. You have to get used to it to do it at speed.

Graphic arts

The graphics have been improved and brought to a modern state: the resolution has been increased, the light and color palette have been redesigned. San Andreas looks great on a retina screen. The protagonist, for which we will have to play - this is Carl, nicknamed "CJ", who returned to his native Los Santos in order to bury his mother, who was killed by an enemy group. At home, he meets old friends, an aggressive brother and sister meeting with the leader of an enemy gang. Subsequently, Karl gradually joins his gang and begins to increase his authority in every possible way, arranging robberies, pogroms and seizing the territories of enemy gangs.

The gameplay hasn't changed a bit from the original version, and you can really thank Rockstar for that. The state of San Andreas includes three cities: Los Santos (the prototype of Los Angeles), San Fierro (San Francisco) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas). In this huge open game world, the player can move in any order. You can interact with the outside world in different ways: kill passers-by, steal cars, or try your luck at a local casino, because mini-games were also transferred to the mobile version. In addition to the main missions, the player is allowed to perform secondary, as well as non-plot, such as a part-time job as a taxi driver or a fireman. In general, in "San Andreas" everyone will find something to their liking.

To make it comfortable for the user to play on a touch device, the game was adapted for screens with a touch interface. On the left of the screen is a virtual joystick, it is floating, so you don't have to remember its exact location. On the right are the buttons for hitting, running and landing in a vehicle. To control the latter, you can choose one of four types of control: analog (using the same virtual joystick), buttons, swipe (swipe at the bottom of the screen), and also using the accelerometer. For those who are not satisfied with the standard layout of the buttons, there is a separate menu item - sensor settings. In it, you can completely change the location of virtual controls in the "on foot" and "in transport" modes. In the control settings, a joystick sensitivity slider is also available, with which you can fine-tune its behavior. In the "Game" menu item, the developers offer to choose the intensity of traffic, the aiming option, as well as the height of the camera. The only item that has undergone a change and, moreover, for the better is the graphics. The developers redrawn many elements of the game, including characters and vehicles, added detailed dynamic shadows and reflections on objects, increased the resolution, reworked the lighting and color palette. Perhaps this is a mistake in the description, or perhaps a game bug that will be fixed in update 1.0.1. The iOS version of "GTA San Andreas 1.0" will take up 1.9 GB on your device, but the installation will require about 4 GB of free space, so be sure to consider this factor when purchasing the game.
