On October 31, all countries, including ours, will celebrate a new holiday for us - Halloween. You could read about the history of its creation in our lesson, where we taught you how to draw a pumpkin lamp. Today we will draw a picture dedicated to this holiday. This holiday, as we now know, is dedicated to all evil spirits, which on this day, or rather, night, comes to light and presents itself in all its glory. One of the symbols of this holiday is a black cat, which also personifies unclean forces, which all people are afraid of when he crosses someone's path.

Stage 1. The picture will show a house, a fence, a cat. All this against the backdrop of the night sky. First, draw the auxiliary fence lines. These are curves connected to each other at different angles. A cat will be depicted on the right edge of the fence. His body is denoted by three circles, which are connected by the curve of the torso. Lines of legs (legs) depart from the circles.

Stage 2. We begin drawing the fence. From the left edge, we will circle the fence boards along the upper broken lines. They are interconnected by crossbars and clogged with round nails.

Stage 4. Now let's proceed to the cat's head. We outline the upper circle, giving the contours of the head. We draw sharp protruding ears at the top. Fur bristles on the sides of the muzzle on the cheeks. We draw the eyes elongated slightly towards the temples.

Stage 5. Let's outline the torso of the cat. All this is done with smooth lines, we draw the back curved upwards, the stomach - with a short concave line. We trace the lines of the paws smoothly, giving the outline of the limbs.

Stage 6. Now we will decorate the remaining two paws, which are, as it were, in the background from us. Raise the ponytail up from the back of the body, bent like a question mark.

Stage 7. Now in the background, far from the fence, let's draw a house, or rather, two houses leaning against each other. It's not hard to draw them. They are in the form of rectangles stretched upwards. They have windows.

Stage 8. We finish drawing a couple more houses, peeking out from behind the first two. They seem to be a little lopsided.

Stage 9. And again, behind the already drawn buildings, we add the contours of houses that go away from the fence. They have sharp roofs.

Stage 10. Next to the houses on one side, draw an old sprawling tree. It is without leaves, apparently, because it is already the end of October - the 31st and the leaves have already flown around. Its branches are splayed in different directions.

Stage 11. Let's decorate the night sky. Let's show a big, just a huge moon, hiding behind the flying clouds. Clouds are represented by wavy lines. The moon, of course, is in the form of a large circle.

Guess what the riddle is about:
In the garden - a golden ball,
But he lies, but does not jump.
Like a full moon
Shines on a holiday from the window!
Hint: it is used both in cooking and as a decoration for the Halloween holiday. Of course it's a pumpkin!

common pumpkin

First we will show you how to draw a pumpkin step by step.

Stage 1
Draw an oval, this will be the segment of your plant. Now continue to build up the lobules, forming the entire outline. Draw the base of the stem, and then the tail itself. Do not forget to depict the back of the fetus.

Stage 2
Now pay attention to coloring. You need to achieve credibility and volume. Paint the fruit yellow, leaving light spots in places. Then, on top of the yellow, draw an orange pencil with dashed movements. Leave glare. Draw the dividing lines of the slices.

Stage 3
With a darker pencil (for example, brown), color in the dried tail. Draw a shadow, add a background color.

Pencil drawing example

Let's see how to draw a pumpkin with a simple pencil. Using only one pencil can also achieve a good effect.

Example 1

Draw a vegetable in the same way: first an oval, then additional segments. Then draw a cut tail and shade it a little with a pencil.

With a darker pencil, draw the lines of the slices, but only as if shading, so that even lines do not turn out. Then shade the slices, the farther from the main lines, the lighter the pencil should be. You can use an eraser and erase the pencil in places and achieve a glare effect.

Example 2

We bring to your attention another example of a pumpkin image in pencil. In nature, there are no two absolutely identical plants, so this fruit, unlike the previous one, will be more even, and the tail was left shorter.

The essence remains the same. Depict the lobules and the stalk.

Shade the vegetable, observing the principle of transition from dark along the main contours to light in the middle. Make highlights with an eraser.

Example for beginners

For beginner artists, we have prepared the following step-by-step example.
The principle of the image is the same, so we will not paint it. You can not bother with shading and shadows, but decorate your drawing with a mustache and a leaf.

Here is our goal - to draw a drawing for Halloween.

We draw a circle and draw a curve below, which shows us a clearing.

Erase the lower part of the circle. Let's draw the trunk of an old sawn-off tree and branches.

The tree is all with growths and clumsy, we draw in any form all these snags.

An owl sits at the very top, draw its silhouette, two are suspended on the same branch.

We finish the shape and start painting over the silhouettes. The eyes and mouth are lit, so we leave them untouched.

We paint over the tree and the clearing, when coloring the shape of the tree, you can add more elements, you can leave the original sketch.

Draw a web with a spider under the lower branch to the left of the tree trunk, to the right - draw. In the distance, draw a flock of bats.

We're going to have a cloudy Halloween night. We draw clouds.

We apply horizontal lines on the outside, in a light tone we still show haze on the moon (clouds).

Erase the outline of the moon and draw the silhouette of a witch on a broomstick with a cat. The next picture is an enlarged version.

In the head, the main thing is the nose and chin, so it turns out a slingshot sideways, a hat on top with a triangle, a crooked back, two hands hold on to a broom, a cloak dangles and two legs together too. The cat ruffled in horror, stood in a defensive pose, arched back.

How to draw a drawing for Halloween?

The most important symbol of All Saints' Day is the pumpkin. It is this vegetable that can most often be seen on thematic drawings dedicated to the celebration of Halloween. Usually, a pumpkin is drawn with paints or pencils of the appropriate colors, after which a large mouth with white teeth, large eyes, as well as small rectangular eyebrows and a cap tail are depicted on it. If a child likes to make applications, these elements can be cut out of paper and pasted onto a picture of a pumpkin. So you get an even more interesting craft dedicated to the holiday, which combines drawing and appliqué.

Another, no less popular option is the drawing of a witch. This fabulous creature is most often depicted flying on a broom, however, if desired, any plot situation can be displayed in the picture. Ghosts and ghosts are also a very hot topic. Moreover, drawings about Halloween depicting these frightening creatures are very easy to draw, and even a small child can cope with this task on their own.

Other representatives of otherworldly forces - devils, demons, vampires, devils, and so on - are also often painted on the eve of All Saints' Day. As a rule, black, purple, red and green shades prevail in such drawings. Meanwhile, if desired, a picture for Halloween can be drawn using any combination of colors.

Black cats, bats, spiders and other creatures, one way or another connected with the world of evil spirits, can become the main element of the drawing dedicated to the celebration of Halloween. As a rule, they are depicted in combination with other symbols of All Saints' Day. In particular, a black cat is considered a constant companion of a witch, so she almost always accompanies her mistress in such pictures.

Drawings for Halloween can be drawn with a pencil or paints. Usually, children draw the outlines of the characters and the necessary elements of the drawing with a simple pencil, and then color their masterpiece with colored pencils or paints. At the same time, gouache or watercolor must be used to simulate blood smudges, otherwise the picture is not at all realistic.

Any drawing can be made as a DIY craft or used to create a Halloween greeting card. In this case, the finished picture should be glued onto a sheet of cardboard folded in half, put the text of congratulations in neat handwriting and, if necessary, add a lock, lacing or other decorative elements. If you plan to hang the drawing on the wall to decorate the interior or give it to someone close, just put it in a frame.
