Since ancient times, the main tools of each teacher were powerful knowledge, colossal work experience and standard tools at hand. A little later, technological progress allowed the use of modern computers and other computing equipment. The famous iPad can also be used for educational and scientific purposes.

With it, teachers will be able to give lectures and seminars, calculate test results, and simply get the latest for their students, while they can solve tests or complete independent tasks.

If you are a teacher and would like to use a tablet iPad of any generation during their lessons, then presented 8 educational applications help you improve your teaching methods and student knowledge.

When there are more than a dozen students in a study group, it is very difficult to keep all the notes and notes about your students and their assignments. Appendix WritePad will make you forget about paper lists or magazines. With this application, you can easily and quickly create records. The peculiarity of the program is that it recognizes handwritten text and transforms it into a readable version of the final document. With the help of the iPad and the presented application, no useful idea will be forgotten or written down. iPad - The ease of use and power of a real computer is designed to make today's education easier.

This application will be interesting for students who have decided to connect their careers with finance, accounting entries or company audit. Having in its assortment a lot of financial tests that can be solved both individually and in a working group, Appendix will help students understand any difficult situation, whether it is the bankruptcy of a company or an economic crisis.

An application with a simple name will help each student take tight control of their academic performance. The program is a spreadsheet that is fully compatible with Excel. According to the developers, with the help of "numbers" it will be easy to calculate the required scores for subjects, import ready-made xml-tables with grades or create new ones using the iPad.

It is no secret that the resource Wikipedia is in the top three most visited sites in the world. The fourth app on our list combines a limitless amount of information from Wikipedia. The design of the application is that while you work, you get the impression that you are reading a magazine called "Wikipedia". The developers felt that this style of presenting information would appeal to interested users. With the built-in precise search function, Discover the application is perfect for both home use and for lectures or lessons.

If another creative thought came to your mind, but there is no way to write it down, you can find a way out in the application functionality Quick Voice Recorder. By tradition, many users of modern gadgets very often write down short notes or thoughts in audio format, using voice recorders. One should agree with the fact that recording a few seconds of a speech or even an entire lecture will save a lot of time, and most importantly, save all the valuable information. QuickVoice Recorder is a tool that will help you record an audio file of any length, depending on the free flash memory of your iPad.

The Keynote app helps teachers and educators create rich presentations right on their iPad by combining text data with pre-made themes or animations, graphics, tables, videos, or audio files on the go. Any type of data in a suitable format can be used to capture the attention and interest of the audience. As you know, the iPad tablet can be quickly connected to an external monitor or projector. For this reason, the application Keynote for

A beautiful application that gracefully beats the classics of the mnemonic genre, it will be useful when learning a language or preparing for passing exams for rights. You can create collections of flash cards yourself, using your own text, photos and audio recordings. If there were no special requirements for the collections, you can use the existing ones - collected in the largest repository on the Internet. After creating a card index, the application will automatically create lessons for you, during which the cards will be shown in the most effective sequence for remembering.

An application that teaches speed reading techniques. The essence of the method is to teach the brain to fix while reading not just individual sounds, letters, which are then assembled into words, but whole phrases and phrases. The program plays one of the thousands of free books, highlighting the words almost like in karaoke - so that the text does not need to be scrolled or flipped. Everything else comes with the ability to customize the interface. The developers promise to soon add other languages (including Russian), but for now you can practice your knowledge of English, Spanish or French.

A series of crazy and funny videos dedicated to the 118 elements of the periodic table, prepared by scientists from the University of Nottingham. The protagonist of the story is Martin Poliakoff, a distinguished-looking professor who is known for research in green chemistry, supercritical fluids, and infrared spectroscopy. All this does not prevent him from talking about chemistry easily and simply, illustrating his words with classic geek experiments: for example, dipping a cheeseburger into hydrochloric acid.

Another collection of videos - this time dedicated to physics and astronomy. The developers have collected 60 symbols that are used to denote various concepts, and explained what each of them means from a scientific point of view. Least of all, these videos are similar to theoretical lectures, more like heartfelt conversations about the most beloved, about the details and subtleties that you begin to notice when you work with one subject for a long time. So, for example, you can find out how the Feigenbaum constant helps in understanding chaos, what strange properties electromagnetic waves have, and what kind of character Isaac Newton had. Things that are closer to reality are also told: why the trajectory of the Jambulani soccer ball is constantly changing, how Nobel laureates in physics are chosen, and what the brazil nut effect is. Scientists explain everything on fingers, Coca-Cola cans and chocolate pies, and they clearly want to be understood. This application perfectly alleviates a special kind of sadness: the feeling that there is something very important in the world that you cannot understand.

Detailed 10-minute lectures that allow you to structure knowledge in the field of mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, economics and finance. In fact, the entire academy is one man, Salman Khan, the living embodiment of the American Dream. The story is classic: a talented young man from an immigrant family, who graduated from MIT and Harvard, learns that his little cousin, who lives in another city, has problems with math at school. He decides to help her by posting video tutorials on YouTube, and instantly becomes famous: first among grateful schoolchildren and parents, and then among investors. And now Bill Gates calls him the favorite teacher of his children, and Google and the Gates Foundation declare that they will invest in the further development of the online university. Some believe that this database of educational videos is the first step towards an education revolution.

A collection of over 700 videos from TED lecturers: educational revolutionaries, tech geniuses, independent scientists, innovators, inventors and more. The program allows you to watch videos offline (for example, on an airplane) and adjust the image quality depending on the connection speed. There are also nice bonuses like the Inspire me function, which forms a playlist that takes into account the desires and amount of free time of the user. You can choose the mood of the video (funny, inspiring), the theme (future, thinking outside the box), and more specific tags (robots, happiness).

A few months ago, Mike Matas, former Apple designer and now founder of Push Pop Press, presented the first fully interactive book for the iPad created by his team in a TED talk. The developers chose the text of the book Our Choice by Nobel laureate Al Gore, an environmental manifesto that tells about where energy comes from, whether there is a real alternative to nuclear reactors, and how deforestation affects the average summer temperature in cities. "Our choice" immediately became the first number in the App Store - not least thanks to colorful infographics, interactive content and expensive photos.

Almost the entire collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art in one application. You can pre-select exhibits that you don’t want to miss, create a route for visiting numerous halls, compose a soundtrack for the visit from specially selected music, and also learn details about the history of the creation of paintings and the life of the artist, standing right in front of his creation. There is also a sub-application - MoMa Books - a navigator for an extensive museum library, which has collected more than 300,000 art publications. Other famous collections have their own applications: for example, the Pompidou Center in Paris, which T&P recently discussed in more detail.

A few years ago, an incident occurred at the Faculty of Biology of Moscow State University: a student, a member of an animal protection organization, refused to dissect a frog, because of which he did not receive credit and was expelled. This situation could have been avoided thanks to this application, which allows you to perform a 3D dissection of the frog, effectively replicating the real thing. The application has already received many awards: including from the same PeTA - an organization that fights for animal rights. The program contains detailed instructions for conducting an experiment, an anatomical comparison of a human and a frog, and also allows you to examine each organ in detail after opening. In general, educational applications on human anatomy are very popular in the AppStore: the most famous of them are, of course, Blausen Human Atlas and 3D-Brain.

A digital tree recognizer created by scientists at the University of Columbia and Maryland. In order to understand which tree is in front of you, you need to photograph its leaf. Next, the application, using an algorithm similar to face recognition, will compare the shape of the sheet with those contained in its catalog. If it is difficult to make the final choice, the program will offer information about the possible options and their properties - for example, it will tell you about the place of growth and the shape of the flowers. LeafSnap was created not only for self-education: each photo taken adds to the database of local flora, which scientists can then use in their research.

Probably one of the most famous educational applications about space is an incredibly beautiful interactive atlas of the starry sky. Its most notable feature is Augmented reality, which allows you to combine a virtual image of the constellations with a camera image - so you can always determine whether a star is falling in the sky or it's just the ISS. Using the Time Machine function, you can track the movement of celestial objects in time and space, speed it up, slow it down or reverse it. In addition, the application contains photos from outer space, information about all visible space objects and many other facts of this kind. You can continue astronomical self-education using the NASA application, which even has streaming video from space.

What educational apps do you use?

Since the introduction of the first iPad, the popularity of tablets has grown every day. Although tablets from Apple dominate in many countries of the world, devices on the Android operating system are catching up with them quite quickly. There are many different models of 7-inch and 10-inch tablets on the market today. Students are one of the most active groups of users of devices of this kind. In many ways, we owe this to the fact that developers offer all kinds of programs for studying on Android. With their help, you can take quick notes, use dictionaries, go online, communicate with classmates.

If you are a student and have just purchased a tablet, then I strongly suggest that you familiarize yourself with the list of programs for studying on Android below. It should be said that on this list, the list of available options is not limited at all, you can find many other options on Google Play.

Evernote is a free and easy-to-use program that allows you to remember and organize any information. With it, you can become more organized and increase your own productivity. With Evernote, you can take notes, take photos, create to-do lists, record voice memos. All this can be synchronized between different devices, and the search function allows you to find any information placed here.

2. Lecture Notes for Students

When looking at Android study apps, LectureNotes is a great way to take handwritten notes on a tablet screen with a stylus. This program is designed with students and teachers in mind. Teachers can use it to prepare lessons and even explain their lecture with handwritten diagrams (if the tablet is connected to a multimedia projector). Students should appreciate this program as a convenient note-taking tool.

3. Dictionary - Merriam-Webster

There are quite a large number of various dictionaries for Android tablets. The Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary, which supports the voice search function, will also be useful for them. This means that it is possible to find an explanation for the term even if we do not know how it is spelled correctly. This is a great tool for getting background information, as well as expanding your stock of English words.

4. Studious - Android app for studying

Studious has incorporated the functions of "reminders" about tasks and a calendar, but with a special focus on students. This is a kind of school diary for Android. Skedule is another class schedule for students. The list of programs for studying on Android cannot do without such an application. With it, you can set an unlimited number of lectures and workshops from Monday to Saturday. There is also a to-do list here. The interface of the program adapts to the size of the gadget on Android.

6.Office Suite Pro 7

OfficeSuite Pro lets you view, create, edit, print, and send across multiple channels Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents. It can also open documents attached to emails and view PDF files. This program works on Android smartphones and tablets, turning them into a portable mobile office. OfficeSuite Pro has file browser features and integration with cloud storage services: Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, SkyDrive and SugarSync. This greatly expands our ability to manage our documents.

7. iAnnotate PDF

Among the programs
mm for studying on android it is a must to mention iAnnotate PDF. This is a special program for reading books and articles in PDF format, which allows you to make notes in them. iAnnotate has a user-friendly and intuitive interface. It greatly increases the productivity of working with literature, having the functions of marginal notes, underlining, highlighting, searching, as well as sending documents with your comments to other users. With it, you can make notes on lecture slides or pages of an electronic textbook, understand documents and do many other things.

I note once again that only the most necessary programs for studying on Android are described here, depending on your specialty and learning habits, you can create your own selection.

15 Applications for Lawyers and Lawyers: Tools and Bases for iOS and Android

Here are applications that work exactly and help solve specific applied problems of lawyers and attorneys. All applications in the material either work on both operating systems, or have analogues that will also be mentioned. This review is written for those professionals who are just starting to use mobile devices in their work, but we hope that experienced users will also be able to find surprises in our material.

The material is constantly updated!

Mobile information bases

Pravo.ru

Mobile version of Pravo.ru help system. Judicial practice of arbitration courts and courts of general jurisdiction and all federal and regional legislation are available. The application can work offline, but you should pay attention to the fact that regional databases must be downloaded manually. Made very well.

Platforms: Android, iOS

Website: pravo.ru

Consultant+

Possessing less pretentious styles, compared to the Pravo.ru app, Consultant+ takes its toll with logical and convenient navigation, which even the most remote person from mobile technologies will figure out in a couple of minutes. In the application, as well as in Pravo.ru, you will find documents of federal and regional legislation, judicial practice, projects, as well as some useful tools and materials that are conveniently highlighted in a separate section “Reference Information”. All documents marked with an asterisk are immediately downloaded to the device, which allows you to work offline with the most necessary. Documents can be searched by name, number, type, text, date, and authority of adoption. Recent documents are highlighted in the section of the same name. Access the history of viewed documents, which is very convenient in regular work.

Platforms: Android, iOS,

Website: consultant.ru

Card file

Not to be confused with the old application “Case file of arbitration cases” also from pravo.ru - it gives a server error and, judging by the reviews, regardless of the device.

The new “Card file” application works like clockwork, the application database is updated promptly and actually represents a mobile version of the information system of the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation kad.arbitr.ru. You can search by date, case number, judge's name and names of the parties. The application works when connected to the Internet, but you can download documents of interest in PDF format in advance to your device.

Platforms: Android, iOS

Site: kad.arbitr.ru

case book

A new look at the use of the legal framework from all the same specialists from pravo.ru. The application uses an interesting, fundamentally new approach to submitting reference information on judicial practice: Casebook considers cases not in the context of courts and dates, but in the context of companies, founders, judges and other participants in the process. Thanks to this, you can track the history of almost any counterparty, thereby both checking it for cleanliness and tracking the status of current affairs.

Unfortunately, all this is available only on the web, but in the smartphone application, the functionality is significantly cut off. Well, maybe we just have to wait: the project, as far as we know, like Aflatum, continues to be developed.

Applications for reading, creating and editing various types of files

For reading, creating and editing office documents, there are a lot of applications on the market from corporate giants: for example, documents, spreadsheets and presentations from Google (1,2,3) and Microsoft (1,2,3), but they are all endowed with traditional corporate problems : they ignore the standards of competitors, are limited by their product line, and in general are quite far from a mere mortal. Quite another thing, independent applications that allow you to work much more freely. Among them stand out:

WPS Office

A universal free application that allows you to read, create and edit documents in DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, TXT, PDF, ZIP and other formats. Simple, unified, recommended to everyone.

Platforms: Android, iOS

Website: http://www.wps.com/ru

FBReader

A free reader with a noticeably outdated interface, but with unsurpassed functionality. Supports many fonts and styles, several translators and a utility for reading aloud. Opens for reading formats: fb2, ePub, Kindle, rtf, MS doc, html, PDF, DjVu, zip (without prior unpacking).

Platforms: Android, Windows, Mac OS X, Linux

Website: www.fbreader.org

P.S. - for iOS from readers, nothing better than iBooks, perhaps, can not be offered. If there is an urgent need to read specific formats, perhaps you can buy TotalReader.

Applications for processing images and scanned documents

Some sources praise the Goggles application from Google, which supposedly can not only scan, but also recognize everything and everyone. We note right away that as of March 2015, this application is completely unable to work with the Russian language, so, unfortunately, we cannot recommend it.

Attempts to recognize text using SmartOCR: Next Miner were also unsuccessful: the application did not digest the Russian or English document.

Another application, CamScanner, allows you to take photos of documents and stitch them into multi-page PDFs. There are editing and cropping functions, but it is not possible to batch process all documents. Text recognition is declared, but there is no Russian language, and an attempt to recognize English was unsuccessful. Thus, it was not possible to find really working text recognizers at the moment.

Perhaps soon Aflatum will have a working functional tool for OCR from a photo, but for now we will talk about applications that do a good job of improving the readability of photographed documents and batch processing.

PDF Document Scanner

The unpretentious program is perhaps the most interesting among the anaogs, it allows you to do the same as the rest (take a picture, process, stitch into a multi-page document), but unlike the others - without big claims and extra clicks. Free.

Platforms: Android

Website: ape-apps.com

photoeditor

The antipode of “PDF Document Scanner”. An amazingly sophisticated program for a mobile platform that allows you to perform a variety of batch operations on photos, ranging from compression to multi-factor processing. A detailed case study on how PhotoEditor can be used in advocacy or legal work can be found here.

Platforms: Android

Website: photoeditor.iudesk.com

ABBYY Business Card Reader

An application from the scanning market leader allows you to recognize text from a business card and form a contact in the phone base of the device based on it. The free version of ABBYY Business Card Reader allows you to save only three fields from a business card: first name, last name, and phone number.

To fix additional information, you need to buy a paid version, along with which there will be such opportunities as searching for the address of the business card owner on the map, identifying additional fields, writing notes to recognized business cards.

Alternatively, you can use CamCard Free, a completely free application with similar functionality.

Litigartner

An application for iPad that allows using links to connect documents in different cloud storages in one interface. The application also has a built-in graphics editor. Unfortunately, there has been no news from the developers of this application lately, which leads to the conclusion that the startup is frozen, but it cannot be left out, because. this is the only attempt before Aflatum to create a mobile application for maintaining a lawyer's file.

Platforms: iOS

Website: litigartner.com

Aflatum

Cloud-based application for convenient dossier management without paper and from any device. Aflatum allows you to comfortably and intelligently conduct production, structuring it by cases, and cases, in turn, by files, notes, events and participants in the case. It is possible to provide access to individual sections of the case to the principal, who can comment on the documents. Reminders are available that sync with the device's calendar. In the near future, we plan to add a really working recognition of Russian text to Aflatum, improve collaboration tools, and work on searching through documents. You can test Aflatum right here on the site, or download applications.

Main features for application application:

Many students during their studies make up special cards with questions and answers for themselves, according to which they prepare for intermediate or final tests. That's just the creation and design of such cards can take a lot of time. The StudyBlue Flashcards application will help speed up and streamline this process.

After registering via Google+, Facebook or email, you need to fill in the data of your faculty, university and subject for which the cards are compiled. In the future, this will not only help you create your own virtual cards, but also find entire file cabinets from students from all over the world.

How to use the application:

The workspace of the application is divided into two parts. From above we write down a question, a statement or place a picture. Below is the correct answer. By creating several dozen of these cards, you can prepare yourself in any subject for the whole semester.

An example of creating a flashcard in the StudyBlue Flashcards & Quizzes application can be seen in our video:

After 25 years of serious research, in 2009 British physicist Stephen Wolfram launched the WolframAlpha learning project. Some time later, WolframAlpha became available on Android devices. The project is a huge database and algorithms for searching and selecting information.

Unlike well-known search engines, WolframAlpha does not provide links to the user's request, but calculates the answer based on data in areas such as mathematics, physics, literature, geology, geography, medicine, chemistry, statistics, and so on.

WolframAlpha translates various units of measurement, number systems, selects a general formula for a sequence, calculates sums, limits, integrals, solves equations and systems of equations, determines the properties of numbers and geometric shapes.

Thus, the application is a kind of "cloud" supercomputer that is able to give an answer in any scientific discipline.

An interesting picture has been observed in the last year and a half. A tablet computer - the iPad is no exception - has ceased to be a luxury item, and it can be seen in an increasing number of students. This opens up a lot of useful possibilities for using a tablet in studies, but ... students simply do not imagine these possibilities! At the end of the article I will give a funny example. And the article itself will be devoted to practical advice for gentlemen students on how to use a tablet for learning.

Actually, most of the tips are quite suitable for any tablet, not just for the iPad. But, respecting the theme of the site, I will supply the text with links to suitable applications in the AppStore. Let's agree as follows: a link with the name of the application will lead to the store, and if there is an article about this application on the site, then I will indicate the link to it in brackets.

Get a cloud storage service

And merge all your training files into it. I mean, ALL files. Let it be at the level of a reflex. Then you will not be afraid to forget the flash drive at home, and you will not be afraid of its damage or loss (alas, sometimes it happens). By the way, do not try to delete your old files at the end of the semester - who knows, suddenly then you will be able to get a profit from undergraduate students. (:

Use the organizer

At school you had a diary. It is not available at the institute (there are no grades here in the school sense of the word), but believe me that it is better to concentrate information about homework and future affairs in one place. Usually, a diary is used for this, which can be bought at any stationery store.

There are also dedicated apps for the iPad. I will name two - inClass and iStudiezPro (). Both support the Russian language, the first is even free. At the beginning of the semester, you will have to spend some time (an hour and a half) to enter the schedule and other information into them, but then it will be very convenient.

True, one plug is possible. Some teachers tend to come up with problems themselves - and if such problems contain mathematical or some other formulas, then you won’t really enter them into the organizer application. In this case, you will have to limit yourself to a paper diary, but use it.

Keep copies of your homework

Because this is a valuable material for preparing for exams, tests, and the teacher may not return the completed assignment. (Even worse - it also happens that the assignment handed over to the teacher is lost before it is checked. A copy will help you quickly restore everything if necessary.) I did “homework” or “type work” - just reshoot each sheet in good light with a tablet camera. And pour it into the "cloud", which I advised you to get a little earlier. Even the iPad2's camera is enough to get a normal legible electronic copy of an A4 sheet.

Get a stylus

Believe me, it will come in handy even if you don’t draw or take notes on the lecture tablet. A little later I will tell you why.

Use e-books

And do not listen to those who sing odes to paper books. No, a paper book is good, of course. But it is precisely in teaching that e-learning is much more convenient. You are not attached to the library with its quirks (return in two weeks if you do not want to pay a fine!). You are relieved of the need to carry extra pounds of paper with you to class. You don't have to shift books for each new day with the risk of mixing up and taking something wrong. Finally, the electronic version of the book cannot be damaged or lost. The whole Internet is at your disposal - use it.

Get yourself a GOOD PDF reader

Some explanation is needed here. In general, the iPad supports PDF out of the box. And native iBooks () allows you to read such files, conveniently organizing them into a “bookshelf”. But that's not what you need to study.

Real The PDF reader should provide the user not only with bookmarks, but also with the ability to actively comment on the text with making notes directly into the document. My advice is Foxit Mobile PDF(). I haven't seen anything better yet.

If you are a techie or a science student, it may turn out that the book you need exists only in DjVu format. This is somewhat worse, since there are only paid solutions for viewing them on the iPad, and their functionality is not ideal. Look towards DjVu Book Reader.

Use bookmarks!

When a new topic begins, bookmark the appropriate place in the relevant book. And if this book is a problem book, then immediately put a bookmark on the page where the answers to the exercises on this topic begin. Bookmarks of previous topics can be gradually removed to make it easier to navigate.

If there is really useful background information in the book, be sure to bookmark it there, and don’t delete it, and give it a “speaking” name!

Take notes in your books!

In an e-book, you can and should mark the mastered information! When preparing for the test / exam, this will be of great help. This is where you will need a stylus, and the capabilities of a good reader program.

Be sure to correct book typos - both indicated by the teacher and caught by yourself. You don't have to load up later and waste your time. Mark the tasks, the solution of which you have in your notebook - you won’t have to re-solve them later if something happens. Include links to other books if you managed to find an example suitable for the topic there. The teacher said that something would not be on the exam - be sure to mark it so that you do not stop at this when preparing. Well, and so on.

Try to find an electronic guide

Unlike textbooks and problem books, reference books are poorly translated into electronic form. Simple scanning is inefficient, because here you need to categorize the material and quickly search through it. In fact, the electronic directory should be a specialized application.

Try to find such an application in your specialty. Not sure if it will work, but definitely try. In mathematics, for example, I can call Math Ref ().

Try a tablet as a draft

For some students, by the end of the semester, notebooks lose weight almost twice. Because they are actively torn into drafts. Here's my advice to you: take a stylus (which I advised you to get) and try to scribble your drafts on the tablet for a week. At least at home. You will save paper and get an "eternal" electronic version, which will not be superfluous (into its "cloud"!).

Try taking notes directly on your tablet

I understand that now you will not believe the button accordion words of a boring teacher, but the fact is the fact - when taking notes, the material is absorbed many times better. Maybe this is not the case for the humanities, but in the exact sciences this is an indisputable truth. If you diligently took notes for the whole semester and then suddenly lost the notes, it is still incomparably better than not writing anything and in the end suddenly becoming the owner of a copy of the notes of the Chief Botanist of the Stream. (:

So, try taking notes with a stylus on a tablet. It requires some specific skills, so practice first at home and then in lectures on something not very essential. If you learn, your notes will quickly become perfect ... and, by the way, it is quite possible to get some bonuses from teachers for their copies.

There are two excellent programs for such note-taking - UPAD () and Notes Plus. Personally, I now like the second one a little more. By the way, both of them can work with PDF files - and although they are inferior to a specialized reader, they can be indispensable for learning from the so-called "workbooks".

Just don't use your tablet to record the lecturer's audio and take pictures of the whiteboard! Returning to the previous example - if you skip all the lectures and at the end become the owner of a copy of the notes of the Chief Botanist, then this is incomparably better than being at all the lectures, but not taking anything out of them except such, so to speak, material. (:

I'll try to explain why. In audio recordings, it is extremely difficult to quickly find the right place: instead of flipping through the pages (whether paper or electronic), you have to randomly poke back and forth and listen to the whole pieces, which will take a lot of time. And the correlation of audio and photos will turn into a separate and very big problem ... if there are formulas in the lectures, then you will curse everything later. (:

No, of course, photographing the board can sometimes help with note-taking. But precisely help rather than replace it. And exactly sometimes.

More or less like this. But I promised a bike at the end of the article? (: Please, here it is:

From time immemorial, the typical first reaction of a student who solved a problem from a book was look back. A popular teaching sign: as the pages rustled, so get ready to look for mistakes and sort out blunders. (: But in this stream, everything is completely different. They call you out loud the resulting answer, and look at you with questioning eyes.

I hinted that I don't remember all the answers to all the problems by heart, and I can't remember. Once hinted, twice - nothing changes. Gradually I notice that the phenomenon is observed in those students who carry the problem book virtually: either on an e-book or on a tablet.

I ask a direct question: well, what do you think, it’s lazy to look into the answer yourself, or what? In response, bewilderment and explanations vying with each other: how can you not understand! Yes, it's an e-book! Yes, in it the pages do not turn so easily, as in paper! I told them: but to put a bookmark - religion does not allow?! Dropped jaws and round eyes, in which it is clearly read: “well, you are a shaman !!” (:
