Reishi mushroom: useful properties and contraindications, application. Lacquered polypore (reishi mushrooms): appearance, where do they grow and can it be grown? Where does reishi mushroom grow?

Content

For many centuries in a row, the unique mushroom ganoderma lucidum (varnished tinder fungus, longevity mushroom in Russia; mannetake, which translates as “ten thousand years old” in Japan; among the Chinese, lingzhi, linchi, lin-chi - the mushroom of immortality) honorably occupied a special place in oriental medicine. He is a storehouse of a mass of useful substances and salvation from serious diseases.

Reishi Mushroom - What is it?

Traditional medicine of the East considers reishi mushrooms - one of the types of wood fungus - with a strong healing effect. Evidence of this is an ancient Chinese medical treatise published more than two thousand years ago called "The Holy Book of Miraculous Medicinal Plants", where lingzhi ranks first among the "Superior" class. The ancient Japanese treatise "ShinnohHonsohkyo" calls it the plant of God from any disease, the source of longevity and eternal youth.

Because of the glossy surface, it is called varnished (lucidum) - Ganoderma lucidum. Photos of the fungus confirm - Ganoderma has a dark brown or orange-red color with a varnished surface. It does not grow in any conditions: Avicenna claimed that only ten plum trees out of ten thousand can take root and grow. This explains why in the countries of Southeast Asia the tinder fungus was very much appreciated and expensive, being called the "imperial mushroom": only wealthy aristocrats or doctors of the Chinese emperor could buy ganoderma.

Ganoderma varnished is a natural adaptogen containing many organic acids, amino acids, antioxidants, bioactive substances, minerals (germanium concentration is especially high), phytoncides, coumarins, peptides, steroids, lipids, polysaccharides and vitamins needed by the human body. They are treated for atherosclerosis, autoimmune disorders, hypertension, liver diseases. The main effects of ganoderma:

  • soothing;
  • antispasmodic;
  • antimicrobial;
  • expectorant;
  • anti-inflammatory;
  • antibacterial;
  • antiviral;
  • hepatoprotective;
  • painkiller;
  • antiallergic;
  • antioxidant;
  • immunomodulatory;
  • antitumor.

Reishi mushroom - application

The main thing you need to know about the reishi mushroom and its use is that it is a natural remedy that complements the main medical methods when undergoing treatment or prevention of a number of diseases. Indications for use:

  • diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (colitis, gastritis, ulcers, pancreatitis);
  • heart disease, cardiovascular system (hypertension, atherosclerosis, prevention of stroke and heart attack, arrhythmia);
  • with hormonal diseases (diabetes);
  • allergic reactions;
  • immunodeficiencies, autoimmune diseases;
  • infectious diseases;
  • respiratory diseases;
  • cancerous diseases.

Reishi mushroom: use in oncology

When using reishi mushroom in oncology, it is important to know that the effect is not on the already existing atypical cells of the formation, but on the immune system - the hidden potential of the body is mobilized, which opposes the growth and spread of cancer cells. Substances in the composition of ganoderma allow the body to find new opportunities and forces to stop the spread and destroy existing malignant cells.

The use of tinder fungus in oncology in combination with chemotherapy is more effective. Chemotherapy can be accompanied by unexpected, unavoidable side effects. Taking tincture of tinder fungus three times a day, 60 drops each, has a destructive effect on the tumor and prevents the development of new foci of the disease. Treatment continues for about 3 months. The doctor can choose an individual course, which can last up to 12 months.

reishi mushroom for weight loss

Obese women use reishi mushroom for weight loss, while achieving good results. In the fight against extra pounds, use a decoction or tea from tinder fungus. To obtain a decoction, pour the crushed tinder fungus with water while stirring, after which the decoction should settle for 30 minutes. Drink a decoction should be 30 minutes before meals every day.

Reishi mushroom: how to take

It is permissible to take reishi mushroom in different ways: pharmacology offers many different preparations based on ganoderma:

  • For prevention, a powder used as a seasoning for ready meals is more suitable.
  • For the treatment of diseases, it is better to use tincture of alcohol or vodka.
  • Pharmacology also offers Reishi oil, which is shown as an immunomodulatory drug. You can buy encapsulated oil, reishi oil in combination with pine nuts. The compositions are useful in the presence of nodular goiter or mastopathy caused by endocrine disorders, they are used for all indications indicated for the use of ganoderma.

Reishi mushroom tea

Reishi mushroom tea is popular due to its healing properties. Brewing longevity tea is simple: add 1 tsp. crushed tinder fungus for tea at the rate of 1 hour. l. for 1 liter of boiling water. Tea can be prepared as a decoction in the calculation: 2 tsp. for 1 liter of boiling water. The taste of this tea is specific. By properly preparing and consuming reishi tea correctly, over time, you can get rid of stomach problems known to many, from extra pounds, you can raise weakened immunity.

Reishi mushroom tincture

The properties of such a composition are impressive, and the Reishi tincture is prepared as follows:

  • 10 g of crushed reishi is poured into 0.5 liters of medical alcohol;
  • after that, the container is tightly wrapped in paper that does not transmit light, and then cleaned in a dry place for 5-6 weeks;
  • keep the composition at room temperature;
  • after the specified time, the tincture can be used for therapeutic purposes externally or orally (when taken orally, it is allowed to dilute the tincture with water).

The second recipe for the preparation of an alcoholic extract, in which the reishi mushroom plays the main role, is as follows:

  • 10 grams of crushed tinder fungus is poured with 0.5 liters of vodka.
  • The container is tightly wrapped and insisted in the dark for 2-3 weeks in a cool-dry place. The tincture does not need to be diluted with water.

Water tincture is prepared as follows:

  • 2 tbsp. spoons of dried reishi or powder pour a liter of boiling water, simmer in a water bath for 25 minutes.
  • The broth is filtered, poured into a thermos for a day.
  • The solution is taken 3 times a day, before meals, a tablespoon. For preservation, the infusion should be stored in the refrigerator.

Reishi mushroom - contraindications

It is better to use tincture or extract of reishi mushroom inside for therapeutic purposes after consulting a doctor to determine the optimal dose of administration and exclude contraindications. Reishi mushroom contraindications apply to women during pregnancy and lactation, it is not given to children under one year old and people with blood diseases, with poor clotting.

Reishi mushroom - reviews of doctors

Korneeva Victoria, nutritionist

I read different reviews of doctors about the reishi mushroom. As a percentage, 80-90% of the total number of patients lose weight. It is important for us to provide real help to our patients, therefore I am interested in finding effective means for losing weight that do not have a negative effect on the body. Recently, I began to cautiously prescribe a tinder fungus, which I had heard a lot about. Now I can confirm the effectiveness of the mushroom not only for weight loss, but also for the treatment of the stomach.

Vernitskaya Diana, therapist, nutritionist

Everyone who seeks my services dreams of an ideal physical shape. The remedies that she prescribed earlier had many contraindications, had side effects, so it was not always possible to talk about the benefits. From the moment I started prescribing Reishi, the results have improved, the well-being of clients who have lost weight with the use of Ganoderma has become better.

I.V. Nikolaev, therapist

Treatment of diseases with the help of a tinder fungus is not recommended without the supervision of a doctor, confirmation of this is the same reviews of specialists who have personally experienced the positive or negative consequences of treatment with immortality fungus. Uncontrolled and unjustified intake of drugs or tinctures based on tinder fungus can lead to problems such as headaches, indigestion, and so on.

Reishi mushroom - medicinal properties. Using Reishi Mushroom Tincture, Extract or Tea to Treat Diseases

The reishi mushroom is rarely found in nature, so it was once of great value. This saprophyte is considered an annual. But, it happens, he lives 2 or 3 years.

Botanical description:

  • mushroom body. Reishi consists of a stem and a cap.
  • Hat. The color is changeable, the mushroom can take on different shades - from reddish to purple. The hat is shaped like a human kidney. The maximum diameter is 25 cm. The surface is wavy. The mushroom is smooth and shiny. There are many growth rings on the hat.
  • Leg. Its length can reach 30 cm, diameter - 3 cm.
  • Pulp. In young individuals, it resembles a white sponge. Over time, it thickens, stiffens, taking on a brownish tint.

Reishi mushroom has no smell or taste. There is only a bitter taste.

The mushroom is valued for its medicinal properties - it strengthens the body, has antibacterial, antiviral and antitumor effects, removes toxins and protects against radiation.

What is another name for reishi mushroom?

Reishi is the name given to the unique mushroom by the Japanese. Translated into Russian, it means - "mushroom of spiritual strength." The fungus Ganoderma lucidum belongs to the genus Ganoderma, family Polyporaceae. It is also called:

  • Mannentake - translated from Japanese as "ten-thousand-year-old mushroom."
  • Lingzhi - translated from Chinese as "mushroom of immortality."
  • Ganoderma shiny.

The mushroom is especially valued in Japan and China - here it is considered a source of eternal youth.

Edible or not?

The lacquered tinder fungus has a pronounced bitter taste, therefore it belongs to inedible mushrooms. It is used only for medicinal purposes. The fungus is taken as:

  • tinctures;
  • teas;
  • bioadditives;
  • tablets;
  • extracts;
  • powders.

The miraculous properties of the mushroom are due to its unique composition, it contains:

  • polysaccharides - they strengthen the immune system;
  • amino acids - they remove toxins from the body;
  • organic and polyunsaturated fatty acids - they prevent the formation of tumors.

And also lacquered tinder contains coumarins, saponins, triterpenoids, phytoncides, flavonoids, alkaloids, vitamins B, C, D, micro and macro elements (copper, zinc, selenium, phosphorus, sodium, manganese, magnesium, sodium, calcium).

Where and when does it grow?

Lingzhi once grew only in the East, but now it has spread all over the world - it is grown on farms for medicinal purposes. But the main suppliers of varnished tinder, as before, are Japan, China and Vietnam.

In Russia, lingzhi can be found in the subtropics - in the Krasnodar Territory and the Caucasus. A favorable climate allows the saprophyte to fully mature over the summer - slowly, in natural conditions.

In the temperate latitudes of the Russian Federation, the fungus is extremely rare. But recently it has been spreading in Altai - in the areas of clearings. The fungus chooses weakened, dying and dead trees as a victim. Prefers to grow on hardwood, rarely found on conifers. Lingzhi is located at the base of the tree, sometimes it grows on roots deepened into the ground.

Varieties

There are many varieties. All of them are different from each other:

  • appearance;
  • chemical composition;
  • medicinal properties.

Who can be confused?

Reishi is sometimes confused with agaric. This mushroom is also called white larch sponge. This mushroom is used for tumors. Its pulp to the touch is like a poured sponge, hence the name. What is the difference between agarik and varnished tinder fungus:

  • it does not have a shiny and smooth surface, but a rough and rough one;
  • the mushroom is painted white and covered with brown spots.
  • grows mainly on larches, as well as on firs, cedars, less often on birches.

Agarik grows up to 10 kg in weight, up to 30 cm long.

Collection Features

Lingzhi, grown in natural conditions, is much more useful than artificially grown counterparts. If you're lucky, you can find varnished tinder fungus in nature - in the subtropical zone of our country. It grows on deciduous trees. The most useful is considered a mushroom grown on oak wood.

The chances of finding many shiny Ganoderms are extremely small - one mushroom comes across for every 100,000 trees.

It is difficult to meet a brilliant ganoderma in nature - its spores germinate on certain trees and under certain conditions. To get a valuable mushroom for use, it has to be cultivated artificially. Reishi was first cultivated in Japan in 1972. The collection and harvesting of the mushroom, which began in July, continues until the first frost.

Can you grow this mushroom yourself?

If not for artificial cultivation, the lingzhi mushroom would be worth all the gold. Luckily, it can be grown with mycelium-infected wood sticks. Seed material is purchased in specialized stores. One sowing provides a harvest for 4-5 years. There are two ways to grow a medicinal mushroom - on stumps and in sawdust.

The specialist explains why growing reishi mushrooms can be a profitable business project, and how to create conditions for its growth:

Growing on stumps

You will need stumps, substrate and mycelium. The area where reishi will grow should be protected from the sun. It is desirable that the fungus grows in a humid environment. Procedure for cultivation on stumps:

Stump preparation

The ideal option is when there are stumps of fruit or deciduous trees on the site. Stumps from coniferous trees are not suitable. If there are no stumps, you will have to prepare them in advance. Harvesting is best done in the period from autumn to spring - when the stumps have the strongest bark. In the pre-spring period, the maximum content of nutrients in the bark.

Soil preparation

Substrate preparation:

  • They take peat, limestone and soil in proportions of 5:1:4.
  • To increase nutritional value, manure or straw is added to the mixture.
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly and fertilize the hole in which the stump will be placed.
  • When the stump is placed in a recess, it is also covered with a nutrient substrate around the perimeter.

Mycelium seeding

It is almost impossible to get lingzhi mycelium on your own, so mushroom growers buy ready-made mycelium. Sowing work is preceded by the creation of planting holes - their depth is 7 cm, and their diameter is 1.2 cm. Sticks with mycelium are inserted into the finished holes. The germination rate and the yield of the fungus depend on the number of sticks infected with mycelium - the more seed is laid, the faster the first lingzhi will appear.

The planted area is covered with a film

The optimum temperature for the development of fungi is 20-26°C. Stumps for better rooting of the mycelium are often transferred indoors. If this cannot be done, you can close the cuts with mycelium with paraffin, and then dig in the hemp with earth.

Growing on sawdust

The advantage of this method is speed. On sawdust, the harvest is obtained faster than on stumps. But this method of growing requires more trouble. The procedure for growing lingzhi on sawdust:

Preparation of sawdust substrate

Mix sawdust - 80%, with other nutrients - 20%. You can, for example, add oatmeal or barley husks. Minerals are also added - chalk or gypsum, but not more than 2%. After mixing and moistening the mixture, it is dried - subjected to sterilization at a temperature of 90 degrees. Processing time - 5 hours. If a lot of substrate is harvested, it is recommended to repeat sterilization.

Mycelium seeding

The prepared substrate is laid out in boxes. It is necessary to sow the mycelium at 30 degrees Celsius - it is simply immersed in the prepared soil. Sprinkle on top of the planting and leave to germinate - for 15-20 days. The temperature should be maintained in the range of 18-26 ° C, and humidity - 75%. The substrate must be monitored - it should not be wet, but it should not dry out either.

Reishi Growth Conditions

In order for the varnished tinder fungus to fruit safely, mushroom growers must provide it with the most favorable growing conditions:

  • In order for the mushrooms to appear as soon as possible, holes are made in the container with the substrate.
  • "Plantation" should be in partial shade - direct sunlight should not be allowed.
  • During growth and development, the optimum temperature is + 23 ÷ + 25 ° С. Winter temperature should not fall below minus 18°C.
  • To maintain the humidity at the proper level - 75%, wet expanded clay is placed in the room - it can be laid out on a baking sheet. Mushrooms should be sprayed weekly with warm water.
  • Planting should be watered depending on the condition of the substrate. If it dries up, it is moistened with water - rain or boiled.
  • If the substrate is prepared correctly, no additional feeding is needed.

If you overdo it with watering and moisture, rot and mold can appear. Humidity also attracts various insects - spiders, ticks, slugs. To prevent this from happening, you need to:

  • disinfect the room before landing;
  • provide room ventilation.

Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum or lacquered tinder fungus, lacquered ganoderma), which is one of the varieties of tree fungus, has been considered in traditional medicine in China, Japan and Korea for more than two millennia as one of the most valuable medicinal plants in terms of its healing properties.

For the first time, this very popular and in our time natural remedy was mentioned in the ancient Chinese medical treatise "The Holy Book of Miraculous Medicinal Plants" published over 2000 years under "number 1" in the list of so-called "superior" drugs (to the class of "superior" (or medicines of the “highest level”), the healers who made up this textbook of oriental medicine attributed mushrooms and herbs, the most outstanding in terms of the variety and strength of their therapeutic effect). In the ancient Japanese treatise "Shinnoh Honsohkyo", the reishi mushroom is mentioned as a "given by heaven" remedy for all diseases, giving eternal youth and longevity to the "plant of God".

Over its centuries-old history of existence in nature, which occupies an honorable place among the plants traditionally used by oriental medicine, lacquered tinder fungus has acquired many different names, among which are "reishi mushroom" (translated from Japanese - "mushroom of spiritual strength"), "mannentake" ( "ten-thousand-year-old mushroom"), "linchi", "lin-zhi" or "lin-chi" (translated from Chinese "mushroom of immortality"). In Russia, the reishi mushroom has long been best known under such names as "lacquered tinder fungus", "ganoderma", "sacred mushroom", "longevity mushroom".

It is worth noting that the reishi mushroom, which is very “capricious” in terms of growing conditions, has always been very difficult to find in nature in the wild (according to Avicenna, “out of 10,000 wild plums, only ten will take root reishi”). It is in this regard that this rare, healing mushroom has long been considered a great value in the countries of Southeast Asia, it was very expensive and only rich aristocrats or court doctors could afford to buy this wonderful natural medicine - for the emperor of China (hence the origin of one name for the reishi mushroom - "Imperial mushroom").

The history of reishi mushroom cultivation began in 1972, when a Japanese scientist from Kyoto University managed to grow this tinder fungus in a laboratory. Since then, reishi mushrooms have been grown not only in China and Japan, but also in other countries of Southeast Asia on special plantations, followed by the manufacture of medicinal essences and extracts on its basis.

Currently, Japan, France, Canada and the United States continue active scientific research on the medicinal properties and biochemical composition of this unique saprophyte mushroom.

Compound

As part of the fruiting body of the reishi mushroom(it is from this part of the lacquered tinder fungus that various medicinal preparations are most often made) there are nonessential and essential amino acids, organic acids, polyunsaturated fatty acids, beta-glucan polysaccharides, triterpenoids, coumarins, saponins, phytoncides, vitamins (mainly VZ, B5, C and D), flavonoids, alkaloids, as well as various macro and macro elements (germanium, calcium, potassium, sodium, magnesium, iron, manganese, phosphorus, zinc, copper, sulfur, selenium, silver, etc.).

A wide range of therapeutic and prophylactic effects of the reishi mushroom is mainly due to the high content of polysaccharides, triterpenoids and germanium in its composition.

Reishi Mushroom polysaccharides beta-glucans have a pronounced antitumor and immunomodulatory effect, are very effective in the fight against pathogenic bacteria, and also help reduce high blood pressure and lower blood sugar.

Organic germanium, the high concentration of which is distinguished by the reishi mushroom, promotes the activation of metabolic processes, increases immunity, exhibits antitumor activity (prevents the development of malignant neoplasms and prevents the appearance of metastases), and also has antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, analgesic and radioprotective properties. In addition, germanium contained in the Reishi mushroom, like hemoglobin (a protein of red blood cells), is actively involved in the process of transporting oxygen from the lungs throughout the human body and thereby prevents the development of hypoxia (oxygen deficiency) at the tissue level.

Reishi mushroom is also a rich source triterpenoids (ganoderm acids) having a molecular structure similar to steroid hormones. Triterpenoids, which are part of the fruiting body of the Reishi mushroom, have anti-allergic, antioxidant, hepatoprotective, antitumor and moderate analgesic effects, improve the rheological properties of blood and prevent thrombosis, increase the efficiency of oxygen use by the body, and also, like the polysaccharides present in the Reishi mushroom, help reduce blood pressure in arterial hypertension and reduce blood cholesterol levels.

Therapeutic and preventive action

Related to natural adaptogens, rich in natural antioxidants, biologically active substances, vitamins necessary for the human body, macro- and microelements, having antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, antispasmodic, analgesic, anti-allergic, hepatoprotective and antitumor properties, reishi mushroom is recommended as an effective natural auxiliary means as part of prevention and complex treatment:

  • Cardiovascular diseases (atherosclerosis, arterial hypertension, coronary heart disease, thrombosis, thrombophlebitis, endarteritis obliterans; heart failure, heart attack, stroke, etc.). Reishi mushroom contains a complex of substances (polysaccharides, triterpenoids, nucleotide adenosine, phosphorus, calcium, potassium, magnesium, germanium polyunsaturated fatty acids, etc.) associated with low-density lipoproteins), which reduce platelet aggregation and regulate blood viscosity (and thereby prevent the formation of blood clots in the lumen of blood vessels), as well as improve myocardial oxygen supply and have a cardiotonic effect (restoring normal rhythm and strength of heart contractions).
  • Various allergic diseases. The use of reishi mushroom prevents the formation of allergic edema, and also helps to eliminate the itching and burning of the skin characteristic of allergic dermatitis (this is due to the fact that the ganoderm acids contained in the reishi mushroom suppress the production of histamine concomitant with an allergic reaction, which causes spasm of smooth muscles and increases the permeability of blood vessels. And besides, some immunomodulatory proteins, flavonoids, calcium, magnesium and manganese present in the composition of the Reishi mushroom also have an antihistamine effect.
  • Viral diseases (ARVI, herpes, viral stomatitis, etc.)
  • Autoimmune diseases (systemic lupus erythematosus, bronchial asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, scleroderma, atopic dermatitis, etc.). The polysaccharide Lanostan contained in the Reishi mushroom and other natural immunomodulators help to increase the period of remission in autoimmune diseases.
  • Diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, pancreatitis, colitis, etc.). The triterpenoids, flavonoids, magnesium and vitamin B3 contained in the reishi mushroom in a complex combination have an antispasmodic and analgesic effect, helping to relax the smooth muscles in the intestines and eliminate colic often associated with gastrointestinal diseases. The introduction of reishi mushroom into the daily diet also helps to restore the normal balance of intestinal microflora in dysbacteriosis.
  • Liver diseases (chronic hepatitis (including hepatitis C), fatty hepatosis, cirrhosis, etc.). Due to the high content in the body of triterpenoids, germanium and polysaccharides, reishi mushroom has a complex hepatoprotective effect - it prevents the development of fatty degeneration of the liver (fatty hepatosis), prevents the development of a deadly disease - cirrhosis (in which there is a gradual replacement of the liver parenchyma with connective (scar) tissue), and besides, it is a very effective natural remedy as part of the complex treatment of alcoholic and viral hepatitis.
  • Diseases of the lower respiratory tract of the respiratory system (bronchitis, bronchial asthma, pneumonia, acute respiratory infections, etc.). The substances contained in the reishi mushroom help to eliminate bronchospasm, and also have an expectorant and antitussive effect.
  • Dermatological diseases (psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, etc.)
  • Prostate diseases (prostatitis, prostate adenoma)

Introducing reishi mushrooms into your diet also helps:

  • Improving mental and physical performance, increasing the resistance of the human body to the negative effects of various adverse environmental factors (such as cold, heat, ionizing radiation, climate or atmospheric pressure changes, unfavorable environmental conditions, low oxygen content in the air). This action of the Reishi mushroom is due to the fact that it belongs to the class of "adaptogen" plants. In terms of its ability to mobilize the internal energy reserves of the human body, increase the body's endurance under conditions of intense stress, mental, physical and psycho-emotional stress, reishi mushroom is not inferior to such powerful natural adaptogens as ginseng, mummy, Rhodiola rosea, Schisandra chinensis.
  • Purification of the body from various harmful substances (toxins, slags, salts of heavy metals), protects the human body from ionizing radiation.
  • Improvement of the psycho-emotional state and functional state of the central nervous system. Reishi mushroom activates the production of “hormones of joy” endorphins in the body (it is thanks to this property that this unique mushroom has long been eaten by Buddhist monks to achieve peace of mind and harmonious merging with nature). Reishi mushroom also has a mild sedative effect without causing drowsiness, and also increases the resistance of the central nervous system to psycho-emotional stress (the anti-stress effect of lacquered tinder fungus is mainly due to the presence of triterpenoids, germanium and zinc in its composition). Reishi mushroom, which has the above-described beneficial complex effect on the central nervous system, can be used as part of the complex treatment of neurasthenia, depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, neurological diseases (epilepsy, etc.).
  • Helps to improve the state of the endocrine system with nodular goiter and mastopathy
  • Decrease in blood sugar, prevents the development of obesity. Reishi mushroom contains polysaccharides, protein compounds and ganoderm acids that help lower blood glucose levels. In addition to the hypoglycemic effect, reishi mushroom also increases the sensitivity of cells to the insulin produced by the pancreas. In this regard, with regular and long-term consumption of reishi mushroom, it is possible to reduce the daily dose of hypoglycemic drugs in patients with diabetes mellitus. Reishi mushroom, which corrects carbohydrate metabolism disorders, is also useful to introduce into the daily diet of overweight people.
  • Prevents premature aging. This property of the reishi mushroom is due to the high concentration in its composition of natural antioxidants that are effective in combating the free radicals that cause premature aging (among the biochemical components of the reishi mushroom with antioxidant activity are triterpenoids, germanium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper, selenium, manganese).
  • Increase immunity, inhibits the development of benign and malignant tumors(Reishi mushroom shows the highest therapeutic efficacy in the complex treatment of oncological diseases of the intestines, lungs, esophagus, prostate, uterus and mammary glands, prostate adenoma, benign tumors of the mammary glands). The pronounced antitumor property of the reishi mushroom is due to the fact that the polysaccharides, germanium, triterpenoids and ergosterols present in its composition have a beneficial effect on the T-cell link of immunity, promote the maturation of lymphocytes, activate the activity and increase the life cycle of macrophages and other cells - "defenders" of the immune system, fighting atypical malignant cells that provoke the development of a tumor. Clinical trials of reishi mushroom dry extract in oncology clinics in America and other countries of the world have shown that regular intake of drugs based on reishi mushroom improved the quality of life of patients, prevented a decrease in the level of leukocytes, increased the effectiveness and tolerability of chemotherapy and radiotherapy courses by patients, and had a very beneficial effect. on immunological parameters, blood pressure, sleep and psycho-emotional state of cancer patients.

Regular consumption of natural adaptogen Reishi mushroom is also recommended:

  • To old people
  • In immunodeficiency and asthenic conditions
  • With prolonged stressful, physical, mental and psycho-emotional stress
  • As part of the comprehensive treatment program for alcohol and drug addiction
  • The population of ecologically disadvantaged areas
  • Those whose work involves exposure to toxic substances or radiation (working in nuclear power plants, in the chemical industry or in heavy industry)
  • Those who work in adverse climatic conditions (in conditions of cold, heat, high humidity), work in highlands or are engaged in underwater or underground work

Mode of application

2 teaspoons of chopped reishi mushroom pour 200 ml (1 cup) of water, bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes with constant stirring. Then leave the broth for 30 minutes, strain, cool and take 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals.

Contraindications for use

Pregnancy, breast-feeding, children's age (up to 7 years), hemorrhagic diathesis.

Actual goods.

It is no secret that the legendary Reishi (Ganoderma) mushroom, revered for its medicinal properties, grows not only in China, Taiwan, Japan - those countries in the Asia-Pacific region in which it has been elevated to the rank of supermedicine, but also here - on southern Russia in the Krasnodar Territory.

Surprised? There is nothing surprising. If you look at the globe, you can't help but see that the Krasnodar Territory is located in the same latitudes as the countries mentioned above, and the unique climate of the Caucasus allows the Reishi mushroom to fully mature during the summer. Ripe calmly, slowly, in natural conditions. In these natural conditions, Reishi gains strength, then to give it to people for the good, for their health and strength.

Naturally, you have to work hard to find the Reishi mushroom. After all, it does not grow like cucumbers in the beds! But it's worth it! It is worth it if only for the sake of receiving electronic lines of gratitude from all over Russia! In addition, Reishi mushroom can be easily found in any park in Krasnodar like this!

In the forest, Reishi mushroom, as a rule, settles on the trunks of dead trees, like all polypore fungi. You can also meet it growing from the ground, if this substrate is a mixture of earth and rotting wood. Reishi's wood-destroying activity is very high - like a sponge, it sucks all the power out of the wood, destroying it. I have seen how, in a few years, a dry tree lost its strength and fell. Therefore, it is not in vain that various antifungal materials are used in the construction of log houses to protect logs from destruction by polypore fungi. Well, I just have to remember the places of finds and systematically visit them to collect new Reishi mushrooms. Under favorable conditions, 3 waves of Ganoderma collection are possible. Therefore, summer for me is a time of active search and collection. At the beginning of May, with the first real spring sunny days, the visible growth of the Reishi mushroom begins. Conditions favorable for the growth of the fungus can last until September.

Of course, let in natural conditions, the collection of Reishi mushroom is limited. Although I have to rush through the mountains and forests of the Caucasus in search of new places, but I am confident in the quality of the natural Reishi mushroom. My clients are sure of it too!

Well, if you are very lucky, you can find such a copy!

2015 Reishi Mushroom Growth Broadcast

I want to say that the growth rate of the Reishi mushroom is different and depends on many factors. Therefore, in one section of the Caucasus, Reishi can practically be collected, and in another section, it looks like this on June 12, 2015

Meanwhile, in another area, the situation June 26, 2015 looked like this:

Well...... First Reishi Mushroom Harvest of the 2015 Season!

On 07/17/2015, the Reishi mushroom in some places looked like this:

July 24, 2015 was the time of the main harvest, and the photos of the new rising wave look like this:

The undisputed leader in size in 2015 is the Giant Ganoderma!

After another drying on 28.07.2015. the intermediate catch of Ganoderma in dry weight was 2.2 kilograms. And here are the results of another catch:

The active collection of Ganoderma continues. On August 27, 2015, the situation in the forest looked like this:

Another dry. Subtotal of dried Reishi mushroom season 2015 as of 08/29/2015. amounted to 3.2 kilograms:

Well, here is the result of the new collection. After drying, the total subtotal of the Reishi catch in 2015 as of 09/06/2015 was 4.2 kilograms:

The 2015 Reishi season is coming to an end. Mushrooms left in the forest did not grow much, and a drop in temperature and a cyclone threaten them with damage. I had to be content with little. The situation in the forest on 0909.2015:

After the next "catch" of Reishi and further drying, the subtotal of the collection of Ganoderma in 2015 amounted to 4.7 kilograms. Photo of the dried "catch":

September 12, 2015 The collection of Ganoderma smoothly passed into autumn. I hope to be able to collect something else.

On September 17, 2015, the total weight of Ganoderma was 5.5 kilograms:

In a couple of days, daytime temperatures will drop below 20 degrees Celsius, which means that the Reishi harvesting season this year can be quietly closed. In the cold, I will explore new areas in order to collect 10 kilograms of this wonderful mushroom next season! And the total collection of Reishi in 2015 amounted to 5.9 kilograms. He left a small family to grow up in one place. Maybe thanks to her, the result will exceed 6 kilos! Photo from 02.10.2015:

October 9, 2015 I close the 2015 Reishi season with a total of 6 kilos

What does Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma) treat?

Reishi mushroom (lacquered tinder) Ganoderma lucidum - a natural remedy for youth and longevity, Buddha mushroom. For a long time, only members of the imperial family were allowed to use it.

It has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for 2000 years, is considered the elixir of life, and occupies a leading position among Chinese medicinal products. Widely popular in the countries of the Far East. It is grown commercially in North America, China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea for its unparalleled medicinal qualities.

Benefits of Reishi Mushroom

Polypore lacquer comes in six different colors, but the red variety is considered the most effective in the treatment of diseases. Modern scientific studies carried out on a large scale in many countries of the world have proven that the main components of the fungus (polysaccharides) affect the maintenance of immunity. Its chemical composition is unusually large, and valuable substances are in a very concentrated form. Contains:

  • polysaccharides;
  • polypeptides;
  • 16 types of amino acids (of which as many as 7 are necessary for the proper functioning of our body);
  • protein;
  • triterpenes;
  • mannitol;
  • alkaloids;
  • vitamins;
  • organic acids;
  • coumarins;
  • sterols;
  • polysaccharides;
  • mannitol;
  • phosphorus;
  • germanium;
  • zinc;
  • iron;
  • calcium.

Beneficial features

Reishi (Ganoderma) has gained popularity due to its therapeutic potential for fatigue, weakness, insomnia, coughs, asthma due to the fact that it contains triterpenoids (Ganodermic acids). These acids have properties:

  • reduce blood pressure;
  • help in the treatment of diabetes and malignant neoplasms;
  • reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood;
  • give energy to our body;
  • help in the fight against diseases and;
  • block blood cells from sticking together, as occurs in the case of coronary artery disease;
  • reduces symptoms of chronic hepatitis type B;
  • it is used in the effective treatment of cancer;
  • used to treat allergies, altitude sickness;
  • from bronchial asthma (in this case it is especially useful in relieving cough);
  • works effectively in case of leukemia.

It is recommended as a means of stimulating the immune system (activates several different phases of protection against harmful effects or infections). Ganoderma has also been proven to have anti-aging properties and has long been used in Chinese folk medicine to treat insomnia and neurasthenia.

For more information, watch the film, where RAMS academicians talk about the study of the healing properties of Reishi.

Ganoderma also helps in the treatment of the following problems:

  • headaches and dizziness;
  • high blood cholesterol;
  • rheumatism;
  • diseases associated with a weakened immune system;
  • any diseases associated with an irregular menstrual cycle;
  • hyperactivity, insomnia, excessive sleepiness;
  • vision problems, such as cataracts;
  • heart disease (arrhythmia, coronary heart disease);
  • type 2 diabetes mellitus;
  • anemia;
  • diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
  • inflammatory processes of the intestines, liver, stomach.

The healing properties of Reishi

Consider the use of the fungus in the following diseases.

For the liver

Reishi helps in the prevention of liver disease caused by excessive alcohol consumption, cirrhosis of the liver, and has a beneficial effect for those who are in the early stages of alcoholism. It can protect the liver from all kinds of physiological and biological factors that destroy it. The use of mushroom extract accelerates the process of metabolism of toxic substances that accumulate in the liver, which leads to its cure. In addition, it effectively eliminates the symptoms of concomitant liver pathology, such as weakness or dizziness.

Cardiovascular disease and atherosclerosis

The use of varnished tinder in the treatment of coronary artery diseases, arterial hypertension, arrhythmias and atherosclerosis is effective, which has been confirmed in numerous scientific studies. With systematic use, it reduces the level of cholesterol, sugar and triglycerides in the blood, improves heart function in heart failure.

It has been established that the Reishi mushroom effectively expands the coronary arteries, increases blood flow and improves blood circulation in the small vessels of the myocardium, and also increases the supply of oxygen to tissues, adds energy to the heart muscle. It can reduce the level of cholesterol, lipoproteins and triglycerides in the blood, prevents the formation of plaques, and if they appear, it removes cholesterol from the walls of blood vessels.

Reishi partially stimulates blood circulation inside our body, slows down platelet aggregation. Helps lower blood pressure, enhances the effect of drugs to lower blood pressure.

It has been found that it can effectively reduce systolic and diastolic blood pressure by lowering them by 15% and 25%. The activity of the nervous system, which is often associated with hypertension, is also reduced by 20% and 40%.

Bronchitis and fungal infection

Reishi stimulates the maturation of immune cells known as macrophages that surround and engulf harmful bacteria. This process effectively blocks dangerous infections, preventing chronic bronchitis.

Mature macrophages are very effective in fighting fungi, so the mushroom is used in the treatment of inflammation caused by a fungal infection. May relieve coughs, bronchitis, asthma and clear mucus from the lungs.

Cancer treatment

Scientific studies have proven the anti-cancer properties of reishi extract in the treatment of cancer:

  • uterus;
  • prostate;
  • stomach;
  • liver;
  • pancreas;
  • brain;
  • esophagus
  • lungs;
  • heads;
  • leukemia;
  • lymphomas;
  • other types of cancer.

It was also noted that the fungus effectively promotes radiation therapy and chemotherapy, reduces the likelihood of metastases, and reduces the risk of recurrence of neoplasms. Doctors noted a significant improvement in well-being and a decrease in pain in these patients.

The use of ganoderma for beauty and longevity

The main components that the Reishi mushroom contains - polysaccharides and polypeptides, can effectively slow down the aging process. They strengthen and regulate the immune functions of our body, which, in turn, leads to a delay in the aging process in mature and old people, and in young people they strengthen the immune system, ensure healthy and proper development.

Polysaccharides and polypeptides, as it affects, because as the body ages, the amount of its own antioxidants produced by it decreases. The polysaccharides contained in reishi scavenge free radicals and thus prevent their harmful effects on our body.

This action of polysaccharides protects our cells and slows down their aging. Polysaccharides enhance the synthesis of nucleic acid - DNA in the cell nucleus, while increasing the number of cell divisions, which also slows down the aging process.

Very detailed information about the healing and rejuvenating properties of Reishi is described in the video.

Mushroom extract also protects the skin, regulates its water balance - it becomes hydrated, supple, smooth. Adding a small amount of the extract to skin care products results in skin being rejuvenated and protected from invading bacterial infections.
