The role of poetry in the modern world. The role of literature, poetry in human life The value of poetry in human life

What are words? Just something that helps us understand each other. What is poetry? This is the element in which we can express our thoughts without fear of condemnation or misunderstanding. When a muse visits a person or inspiration comes, he can no longer be held back - energy and lines beat from the inside, tear out his heart and ask for paper.

And so, an inspired person picks up any writing instrument and begins to create. At the same time, the streams of the necessary words fall on the sheets in even columns, emphasizing the endings of the words with a rhyme for consonance. But not only is there rhyme in poetry, there is also life, human life, which surrounds us or which we want to create.

Basically, poetry is poetry. But often this term is understood as everything beautiful that surrounds us, what inspires us to exploits and gives us wisdom. It would be difficult to imagine the work of such great figures of literature as Pushkin, for whom the poetic meter and rhyming lines served as an expression of their own emotions, the release of their wild energy of feelings and an unusual perception of reality. And Mayakovsky, for whom poetry has become a "conductor" baton in the "orchestra" of the human spirit, inviting them to exploits and showing them reality. Also, Ukrainian poets honored rhymed lines, expressing their thoughts, showing people the true faces of those whom they so blindly and sacredly believed in a hidden meaning. These are Shevchenko, and Kotlyarevsky, and many others who, "armed" with a word, carried peace and holiday into human souls and hearts, showed the cruelty of reality and the boundless fantasy of the human mind.

Thanks to poetry, people can both express and accept a lot that haunts them in life and stirs their hearts. But not everyone is given the opportunity to control the word, as some kind of tool, only those who are truly worthy are able to kindle the fire of passion and the power of the spirit in the souls of people with rhymes and lines.

1. Yaroslav the Wise highly valued books, saying that they give wisdom and abstinence, and are useful to the soul. 2. Among all the creations of the mind and human hands, it is the art of the word that is immortal. “A person who loves and knows how to read is a happy person. He is surrounded by many smart, kind and loyal friends. These friends are books. 3. Books helped Alyosha Peshkov overcome the "lead abominations of life" and become a man. “Love a book, it will make your life easier, it will help you sort out the motley and stormy confusion of thoughts, feelings, events, it will teach you to respect a person and yourself, it inspires the mind and heart with a feeling of love for the world, for a person.” 4. The writer tells in the novel about what can happen to humanity if it destroys books. This inevitably leads to a totalitarian state, to the spiritual impoverishment of the people. 5. The first book calls for careful, thoughtful reading. In “Letters on the Good and the Beautiful,” he says that literature gives us a colossal, vast and profound experience of life, makes a person intelligent, develops in him not only a sense of beauty, but also an understanding - an understanding of life, all its complexities, serves as a guide to other eras and to other nations, opens the hearts of people before you. In a word, it makes us wise. 6. Vladimir Putin proposed to form a list of 100 books that must be read. Mamin-Sibiryak recalls how books entered his life. His father, a poor factory priest, passionately loved books and spent the last pennies on them. In the center of the best room in the house stood a bookcase, on its shelves were placed bound volumes of works by Gogol, Karamzin, Nekrasov, Koltsov, Pushkin and many other authors. In the evenings, reading books aloud was arranged. Mamin-Sibiryak writes that when a book from childhood falls into his hands, he feels that he met a good old friend 8. About a nineteen-year-old boy in the war, who read books every free minute, even during a short break between battles. Everything he read caused him a lot of different thoughts, arguments, questions. We learn how he empathized with the murdered Petya Rostov, the heroes of Hemingway's book, which the narrator stole somewhere and gave Leshka to read. He was wounded, but also suffering from pain, he spoke of the heroes of the book as living people close to him. 9. The publicist is hurt by the fact that in our time the attitude towards the book has changed, that many are of the opinion that it is better to watch a film based on a book than to read the book itself. He worries that "literature will be removed from the school." 10. Tikhomirova recalls I. Brodsky, who, in his Nobel lecture given in 1987, when the trend towards a cultural catastrophe in Russia was just emerging, called non-reading the most serious crime not so much against a book, but against oneself. Their life, their behavior, their moral image, character and destiny really depend on what our children read or do not read today. And along with this, the fate of Russia.

Poetry has a huge impact on the life of not only society, but also the individual. It overturns the ordinary views and opinions of people, everything that was insignificant becomes important. Conversely, things that used to come to the fore become secondary.
For me personally, poetry is a salvation from the world and time where I live. Looking around, I see only the lies and cruelty of society. People began to think only about themselves, money replaces friends and relatives, you won’t surprise anyone with the murder of a child. Sometimes I feel like the world has gone crazy...
Therefore, in order not to break under the weight and oppression of these thoughts and reflections, which only lead to a depressed state, I try to splash out my emotions on creativity. In my poems or drawings, I show everything that happens inside me. For many people, this is not a solution, as they are afraid of society's condemnation of their poetry and therefore try not to show it. In my opinion, this only worsens their condition, they become even more self-contained, which can lead to negative consequences.
It may be bad, but for me the opinion of people who are not close to me is absolutely indifferent. Often I just don't take criticism, but not because I think my poetry is perfect. And just because I believe that when poems come from the heart and are written in a fit of emotion, they cannot be driven into frames. They, like free birds, should soar in the sky, and not be imprisoned in standard cages.
The role of poetry in my life?... A difficult question that I cannot answer exactly. Poetry for me is both a way to remove negative emotions from myself, and a test of my strength in creativity, and sometimes just a way to convey to people what I cannot express in simple words.

1. Introductory speech of the teacher:

Poetry is one of the most ancient arts in human history. When poetry was born, no one knows. But people have a desire to express their feelings not in ordinary speech. This is how the first poems are born.

21st century BC ancient egyptem - the famous song of the harpist translated by Akhmatova. A student is reading against the background of a sounding harp. What are these verses about? What is the poet's concern? Answer you - the young generation of the 21st century AD.

Follow the desires of your heart While you exist Perfume your head with myrrh Put on the best fabrics Anoint yourself with the most wonderful incense From the sacrifices of the gods hears their screams and cries, Lamentations save no one from the grave. Therefore, celebrate a beautiful day And do not exhaust yourself. You see, no one took their property with them. You see, none of the departed returned back.

Poets were called prophets. In ancient times there were poets who awakened the secret life of forests with the wondrous sounds of the word; revived the seeds of plants and created flowering gardens; tamed ferocious beasts and softened the souls of savage peoples. With the magic of words, poets brought down higher beings to the earth, who revealed to them the secret of the future. Poets tried to discover the secret of the future with the help of only their own language, artistic images. This is how great names were born - Homer, Dante, Shakespeare, Goethe, Pushkin, Lermontov .... We remember the golden age of Russian poetry, the silver age, the poets of the sixties.

March 21 is celebratedworld day forAsia, establishedUNESCO in 1999. And it seemsthere is something to rejoicewhennot question: who needs it now? Is there still a demand for it when the average circulation of a poetry collection is 300 copies? And this is in the once reading country of the world!

Video fragment - channel culture, program "cultural revolution" theme: "Poetry is not needed today"

Poetry is not needed today!Unaccustomed to see the meaning between the lines,And no one is happy with the stanzaWith its size along and across,Beautiful words are goneGreat poems are gonepoets of geniusMagicians of the divine line,Ruthless time of changeWithrubs a gift in the people of Calliope,The screen comes to reading in return,And the books will soon be consumed by fire...Oh how dangerous this transitionOt teplot and rustle of pages ...Andmaybetomorrowallpoetry will go awayThe path of forgotten profiles and faces.

We will not discuss today whether poetry is needed or not. The purpose of the lesson is for you to think about the role of poetry in modern society and about the reasons that influence the fact that a modern person ceases to be interested in poetry. but there is another goal: I would like poetry to become the main mistress of this office for 45 minutes. And so that you, having touched her, felt her beauty, could think about some questions, look into yourself.

During the classes

1. students light candles and read verses they have chosen for this lesson (if they want, they can explain their choice)

2. discussion in a circle, we share our impressions.

3. students receive cards with statements from different people about the meaning of poetry, its role in the modern world and give their comments.

Conclusion: why are we here today? Are these lessons necessary? Has any poet interested you?

Final word from the teacher:

Poetry should not be imposed, but it should not be forgotten. For this is our tradition, our history, our pride.

Poetry should be spoken of asneed". Thus began a serious conversation about her, in which the reader and the poet were brought up for several centuries.

Poetry cannot be liked - it can be liked. She measures a person herself, reads him like a book, a poem tailored in her own way. Infinitely indulgent, she gives time to everyone and waits. She has time.

You also have time deareleventh graders!

The poetry of our days does not carry a certain loudness, now the cinema controls the minds, live concert performances, music videos and computer games. The only place where poetry is popularized, albeit with some change in concept, is the musical-poetic genre of hip-hop. Young performers in the texts talk about their difficult life or, on the contrary, about a happy glamorous one. But in these verses, in general, there is little high, beautiful, more and more blackness, porn and debauchery.

Of course, today there are many resources on the Internet that are libraries of both Russian classical poetry and modern poetry. Although it looks more and more like warehouses, there is a lot of “dust” on them, and the main, main (necessarily young) seeker, the hero of our time, will not concentrate on some kind of “doubtful” type of information, he will rather climb where fashionable, cool, cool, a lot of pictures, photos, videos and smells like big money.

Poetry has an independent source of life. Poetry states the presence of Beauty or its absence - nothing more. Beauty has no purpose, it exists according to the law of internal expediency. In the presence of poetry today one feels awkward, uncomfortable, unnatural. Such a feeling covers small mischief-makers in the presence of a well-mannered person. If objects and phenomena begin to be called by proper names, first of all, according to D. Orwell's formula, this will happen in modern poetry. If the genre ladder is reversed, it is not known whether words should be trusted at all.

Conversations about poetry that did not begin with the words “not needed” were born as a memory of a journey to an unknown land. It was disastrous there, it was north, but not the words, but the unearthly reflection on the face of the narrator was remembered by the listener, pushing him to seek the same impressions. Each one found his own. Many were left with nothing, but no one was deceived.

Poetry should be spoken about “as it is needed”.

Vitaly PUKHANOV

The first half of the 19th century was the Golden Age of Russian poetry - there is no doubt about that. There is no doubt that the term "Golden Age" has become the designation of that era, even in textbooks. Pushkin, Derzhavin and Lermontov are only small fractions of the flowering of poetic culture that reigned in those ancient times. In the second half of the 19th century, there was a slight decline. Yes, there were talented and even brilliant poets, and they are in textbooks, but there were not so many almanacs, poetic communities, there was no new step in the development of the art of versification. The second half of the 19th century was the logical development of the Golden Age.

The first half of the 20th century became the Silver Age of Russian poetry - and this has also become a textbook term. New genres, new styles and words - Tsvetaeva, Akhmatova, Gumilyov, Bryusov, even Mayakovsky's torn lines - this is the Silver Age, a new milestone in development, a step forward. And again, the second half of the 20th century was a logical development. Geniuses appear - Brodsky, Akhmadullina, but these are single geniuses, not united. This is a consequence of the Silver Age.
