Red root - medicinal properties and contraindications. Complete instructions for use with recipes for alcohol tincture, decoction, balm
In the last article, I talked about a very interesting medicinal plant called, today another root is next in line - red. This article is essentially a complete instruction on the use of this plant for medicinal purposes, so do not blame me, it will again be very voluminous.
What is the Red Root and where does it grow I must say right away that this plant is very rare. In wildlife, it can only be found in Altai, in mountainous regions. Nowhere else in the world does the Red Root practically grow.
The problem is that it is not enough to find it, you need to prepare plants whose age is more than 30 years. It is they who have enhanced healing properties, thanks to which the Red Root has become so popular.
Therefore, the price for it cannot be low. Focus on about 300 - 400 rubles per 100 grams of dry root. Anything cheaper is likely to be an ineffective fake or younger plants that will be of little use.
The red root is a plain-looking perennial, the height of which reaches half a meter, but most often it is 25–35 cm. The root of the plant is of particular value for medicine, it is quite long and can reach a width of 10–12 cm. so.
The plant has several names, for example, the indigenous people of Altai originally called it Bear Root (due to the fact that bears love to eat it in spring). They were the first to notice its unique healing properties and began to use it for medicinal purposes.
Very rarely it is also called - Kopeck tea. Why Kopeechnik? Honestly, I can't say!

How much does Red Root cost and where can I buy
As I mentioned at the beginning of the article, the Red Root is a rather rare plant and only old roots are subject to harvesting. Young, for medicinal purposes are not used. Hence the rather high price - about 300 - 350 rubles per 100 grams of product.
100 grams of dry root is quite a lot, this is enough for you, for example, to make 1 liter of tincture. Considering that its intake is 3 teaspoons per day, then this amount will definitely not be enough for 1 course of treatment.
You can buy a real Red Root by clicking on this link in the Altaivit store.
Important! Why do I always recommend preparing medicinal tinctures, infusions and decoctions on my own, because there are ready-made products that are sold in pharmacies? Everything is very simple here! The therapeutic effect of a self-prepared alcohol tincture (if all the rules were followed) cannot be compared with a pharmacy one. You have full control over the entire drug preparation cycle, from purchase to the final stage.
Always try to buy any product as a whole! You can grind it yourself, but this way you can visually evaluate the raw materials, and dust is dust! Even if the package of powder says that it is a crushed red root, it still does not mean anything. It can be mixed with anything! For example, put 50% ground Red Root and 50% something else. In this way, the cost of the product is reduced and the margin of the seller is increased.
I think it makes no sense to say that there will be little sense from such a product, if there is one at all! The Altaivita company, the link to which I give, compares favorably with most competitors precisely in this. They fundamentally do not grind any of their products (herbs, roots, mushrooms), so that people who pay money can see what they have purchased.
