And after the army, Gena, together with his friend Cheburashka, decided to start a new life. Now he catches robbers in a chocolate factory. And he, like a fighting crocodile, does it well. It would seem that there is something special here - I bought a ticket for a plane or a train and go! But no such luck: the old woman Shapoklyak is not asleep, will she allow the journey to be without adventures! And imagine, it was thanks to Shapoklyak's irrepressible harmfulness that Gena the crocodile and Cheburashka learned so many interesting things and brought new sports achievements to Sochi.

A series of books about Uncle Fyodor and his friends:

Uspensky, E. N. Uncle Fedor, dog and cat [Text]: fairy tale story / E. N. Uspensky; rice. A. S. Sher. - Moscow: Samovar, 1997. - 127 p.

And Uncle Fyodor loves, and the cat fell in love with the speaker, Matroskin. And he decided to run away from his parents to the village in order to find a house there and get a cow. And there I met a dog, Sharik, who also spoke.

It's fun to live in Prostokvashino! And a tractor that works on products, and a treasure, and a watchdog. But everyone is different - the cat, the dog, and the boy. All are good, but different. So they live - and it's great for all of them in Prostokvashino! ..

Every or almost every person should have relatives. Uncle Fyodor also has them. Among a large number of uncles, aunts and grandfathers, he has an aunt named Tamara. This is a very original person. She is a retired colonel. She has many awards. And she wants everyone around her to walk in combat. But Uncle Fyodor, the cat Matroskin, the dog Sharik and the cow Murka did not walk in formation, stand at attention and put on gas masks, but took and re-educated the military aunt into a charming citizen.

Cat Matroskin and dog Sharik each sit in their corner and quarrel over the fact that Sharik bought sneakers instead of boots. Uncle Fyodor goes to the preparatory class Postman Pechkin was very serious about entering the first class. He sewed himself a blue school uniform with shoulder straps. I bought a student backpack with pockets, notebooks, a pencil case and a lot of all sorts of pencil erasers. He even rejuvenated, became cheerful, he was simply unrecognizable. In the mornings, together with Uncle Fyodor, Pechkin began to go to the neighboring village of Troitskoye for preparatory courses for those entering the first grade. As soon as the shepherd Uncle Shura drove the cow herd from the sawmill to the Troitskoye cow herd on the high manor hill to the church, everyone understood without any hours that it was already nine o'clock. And from all villages, from all places, children began to stream in streams towards the Trinity school. There they were received by a young rural teacher Olga Vasilievna Uzorova. Olga Vasilievna asked future students all sorts of difficult questions. For example: - How much will it be if you add five to two?.. And how much will it be if you add two to five?

Uspensky, E. N. New order in the village of Prostokvashino [Text]: fairy tale story / E. N. Uspensky; artistic A. Shevchenko. - Moscow: Planet of childhood, 2001. – 96 p.

Dear children, this book is best read with parents, because it contains many unusual situations from modern life. If something is not clear to you - dads and moms will explain to you. This book is very ironic and with a large dose of sarcasm. Throughout the country, life began to noticeably change for the better. Stalls were opened with alcohol, baths. Factories that spoiled the environment were closed. And those that did not spoil the environment were also closed. So many people flocked to the village. In Prostokvashino, life has also improved markedly - before there was not a single store, now eight beer tents have appeared at once. And the people in the village increased greatly. And although the people around have become very poor, there are more cars in the village. Therefore, a traffic police post was opened near Prostokvashino.

But some special, prostokvashinsky events also happen. And if you celebrate each, you can easily forget about your own birthday!

Uspensky, E. N. Ghost from Prostokvashino [Text]: fairy tale story / E. N. Uspensky; artistic A. Shevchenko. - Moscow: Planet of childhood, 2003. – 95 p.

The village of Prostokvashino is the most peaceful village on earth. But even in the most peaceful villages there are serious troubles. A ghost appeared in Prostokvashino. This event interested everyone: residents, journalists, television. Travel companies are also interested because the cat Matroskin began to breed ostriches. Therefore, all northern peoples will be happy to come to look at African exotics.

Uspensky, E. N. Trouble in Prostokvashino [Text]: fairy tale / E. N. Uspensky; artistic A. Artyukh. - Moscow: Planet of childhood, 2005. - 93p.

Every person's life is dotted. Even the most successful people have failures. Such a failure fell on Uncle Fyodor. From the deep Krasnoyarsk snows, the owner of the house where Uncle Fyodor, the cat Matroskin and the dog Sharik lived, returned to Prostokvashino. And began to live with them. Such a tenant will please few people. And few will benefit. And even this, practically finished, person (a thief and a bully) Uncle Fyodor managed to re-educate.

And then Uncle Fyodor found this treasure. They then bought a cow with Matroskin, a tractor, remember?

Yes, that's the trouble - the robbers also have grandchildren, so Cotton Clubfoot had a grandson. He was very interested in the treasure. And how this whole strange story ended - read in the fairy tale story by Eduard Uspensky "The treasure from the village of Prostokvashino."

Uspensky, E. N. Severe cases in Prostokvashino [Text]: story-tale / E. Uspensky; rice. O. Bogolyubova. - Moscow: Astrel; Shchelkovo: AST, 2010. - 61 p.

Every person has had a bad experience at some point. The kind that you don't want to remember. But it's not right. To get rid of bad thoughts and complexes, you need to remember everything in detail and forgive yourself and your offenders. That's exactly what our prostokvashinsky people did during the long autumn evenings. The ball remembered how it was stolen. Matroskin - how they pecked him. But Uncle Fyodor did not remember anything. But not because there was nothing like that, but because Pechkin's grandmother was a witch ...< /p>

Recall at least the animal Cheburashka, unknown to science, or the cute, albeit silent, alien from outer space - Stonegnaw from the Klyazma station, resembling a rubber bath mat. Toad Zhabych is a big intelligent toad that with surprising ease begins to live the life of an ordinary Russian person in an era of change. Because he not only saw what he read about in books, but also managed to help good fairy-tale characters: Vasilisa the Wise, Uncle Brownie, Baba Yaga and Tsar Makar. How did the city boy Mitya get into the fairy kingdom? Yes, it’s very simple - he turned out to be a relative of Baba Yaga.

For middle school age. “In our time, there are practically no illiterate people left. Except for preschoolers. And if sometimes there are illiterate or semi-literate people, then it’s somewhere in the tundra, in the taiga or in the Bryansk logging site. I don’t mean workers, sawmillers or planers. I mean fantastic characters. This is the daughter of Baba Yaga, the son of Koshchei the Immortal and Emel, the son of the famous Emelya-on-the-Stove. They themselves are not very eager to study, but their parents understand that if the children do not finish at least the initial school, they will spend their whole lives among stumps and windbreaks and will never see another life.

Uspensky, E. N. Ivan the Tsar's son and the gray wolf [Text] / E. N. Uspensky; artistic R. Gazizov. - St. Petersburg. : The world of the child, 1997. - 62 p.

In one thirtieth kingdom, the thirteenth state, there lived a king. However, there, in addition to the king, there were a lot of people living there. Basically, all the peasant people. But there were no workers and no proletarians. Otherwise, this king would have come to an end long ago, they would have been overthrown. The king's name was different. According to some sources, Berendey, according to others - Vyslav, according to others - Vasily. And his patronymic was Andronovich. And this Berendey-Vyslav-Vasily (Anna-Maria-Gonzalez) Andronovich had three sons. The youngest son's name was Ivan. This son was under two meters tall, and he had so much strength that he could easily lift a horse to the fourth floor. It is a pity that it was bad with floors there. All houses were low. The older brothers were healthier. For example, the middle son Danilo Tsarevich could kill a cow with a blow of his fist if someone allowed him to do so. And the eldest son Peter Tsarevich once tried to throw a sledgehammer into the sky. The sledgehammer came back and right on his head. Another would have been killed, but ... What happened next you will find out by reading the book to the end.

Uncle Fyodor, for example, even left home and settled in the village of Prostokvashino. (True, in his case it happened because of the cat, well, it doesn’t matter. Cats and dogs are practically brothers in this sense.) But I, Eduard Uspensky, was lucky in my life - I always had dogs and cats. Even when I was a boy. It was they who helped me write books about Uncle Fyodor and the village of Prostokvashino. I still have four dogs at home! And this book is about those dogs that once lived with me. All of them were of different sizes and breeds. Maybe these funny and sad stories will make those guys who ask their parents for a dog think whether they are ready for this difficult and responsible friendship-work.

You, like me, will meet with an extremely interesting object, a representative of another civilization. Both his appearance and habits have nothing to do with earthly beings. The appearance of an alien on Earth is an event no less important than the landing of a man on the moon. And from a child's toy, he turns into a figure of a planetary scale. And the girl Katya, his bodyguard and comrade, becomes no less important figure than the President of the country. I have been writing this book for several years, but you must read it in a few days, otherwise I will be offended. All. Your friend, writer E. Uspensky.

The stories of the writer have raised many generations of kids who believe in kindness and friendship, courage and honesty, and therefore are able to help relatives and friends in difficult times.

And, for sure, there are no people in Russia who would not have seen cartoons created based on the books of Eduard Nikolaevich. He earned popular recognition and love thanks to his wonderful works that show the right values in an understandable and accessible way.

Childhood and youth

The biography of Eduard Nikolaevich began on December 22, 1937 in Yegorievsk. The parents of the future author were not related to the writer's path. Father Nikolai Mikhailovich worked as a cynologist in the hunting department of the Central Committee of the CPSU, so there were many animals in the house. My mother was a mechanical engineer by education. In addition to Edik, two more sons were brought up in the family: the older brother Igor and the younger Yuri. By nationality, Uspensky's father was a Jew, and his mother was Russian.

When Eduard was 10 years old, his beloved dad passed away, the children stayed with their mother. The family lived in an apartment on Kutuzovsky Prospekt.

At an early age, Edik grew up as a mischievous boy. The child didn’t study well, so he “pricked up” to cut the deuces from the diary with a blade. Poor financial support affected: after the death of his father, the family lived in poverty. But with all this, the future writer dreamed of a career as a minister or academician.

Once Edward broke his leg and ended up in the hospital. Then the boy asked his mother to bring textbooks and began to study. Soon, the performance of Eduard Uspensky improved, and the young man graduated from school with diplomas for victories in the Olympiads. Mathematics was especially good for the young man.

He received his higher education at the Moscow Aviation Institute. After graduation, he went to work as an engineer, and in his spare time he began to write scripts and stories for children. Ouspensky's interest in creativity arose even in his youth - at school the guy was a constant leader for detachments with young students, for whom he came up with funny children's poems and songs. The young man combined his university education with the creation and holding of student skits and local performances.

After working for a short time in his specialty, Uspensky began to develop a career as a writer. He wrote stories and poems for children, but published his work infrequently. Humorous sketches and stories by Edward for the satire block turned out to be much more in demand. However, the author did not want to develop in this direction.

Eduard Uspensky came up with the heroes of his favorite cartoons

It is not known how the fate of the best works would have developed if the creators of the cartoons had not paid attention to them. Owing to the visual illustration, Ouspensky's writings have become widespread and world-famous.

Literature

The works of Eduard Nikolaevich are popular among readers around the world. Uspensky's stories have been translated into more than 20 languages of the world, and are actively published and republished many years after their appearance. Attention was paid to the author in Sweden - there the man's writings gained such popularity that the characters appeared both on television and in magazines, and Eduard Uspensky himself was invited to the Swedish Writers' Union. The author's works were appreciated by such European masters of children's literature as Anna Schmidt.

"Papa" Cheburashka - Eduard Uspensky

The most famous books of this great author for a wide range of readers are stories about Prostokvashino, in which there are, and. Stories in which and participate also became popular. One of the author's first works, "Down the Magic River", was widely disseminated.

The history of the publication of many works turned out to be difficult. The author was criticized for the lack of features of a real pioneer in the image and behavior of Cheburashka, censorship banned other poems and sketches of the author.

Screen adaptation of children's stories took place under the strict control of the author - Eduard Uspensky independently wrote scripts for animations. Based on the stories and novels of the writer, two feature films were created, and later one series was shot.

With the advent of popularity in the late 1970s, Eduard Uspensky began to appear on radio programs - to read poetry and stories. He writes plays about his favorite characters. In the 1980s, the first collection with stories about Matroskin, Kolobok was published.

Cartoon "Three from Prostokvashino"

Even from the pen of Eduard Uspensky came the fairy tales "Guaranteed little men" and "Koloboks are investigating." The poem "A Terrible Story" is popular.

Eduard Nikolaevich also worked on television. He became the ideological inspirer and author of a series of programs for children of different ages.

The Soviet and Russian writer has repeatedly received awards. In 1997 he was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland. In 2010, Eduard Nikolaevich became the laureate of the Name Prize, which is awarded to outstanding children's writers.

In November 2017, Eduard Nikolaevich wrote an open letter to the President of the Russian Federation, in which he accused the Soyuzmultfilm film studio of copyright infringement. According to the writer, the new series of Prostokvashino came out without Uspensky's knowledge. The author claimed that he did not give his consent to the production of the sequel.

"Return to Prostokvashino"

They participated in voicing their favorite characters, and. Anton and Yulia expressed regret that Eduard Nikolaevich spoke so sharply about the new series of the animated film. The first release of the sequel, released in April 2018, has collected several million views on the Web.

In May, the second episode of the cartoon was released. The series was dedicated to the memory of Oleg Tabakov. On the first day, the release was watched by 25 million people.

Personal life

The family has always inspired the writer, especially in creating the most unexpected characters. The author came up with the bright and unforgettable Shapoklyak, recalling his ex-wife Rimma. According to the famous author, the wife was distinguished by harmfulness. Although in the image, he continues, there are some of the writer's own unattractive features.

And the daughter's children's cry first served as a source of the name Cheburashka, and later - the whole history of this character. This hero became legendary - at first he fell in love with the inhabitants of the country of the rising sun, and then became a symbol of Russia at sports competitions.

Eduard Uspensky was married three times. From his first marriage, which lasted 18 years, he had a daughter, Tatyana, who already has her own family and who gave dad a grandson and granddaughter. From the second marriage, the writer also left children: two twin daughters, whom the couple adopted.

For the third time, Eduard Nikolaevich married a popular TV presenter - Eleanor Filina became the chosen one of the author. Together with his beloved, the writer hosted the radio program "Ships came into our harbor." As a result, service relations grew into a real romance.

The divorce proceedings with the last wife turned out to be loud - the wife appeared on television and in the press with loud statements, publicly discussed life with the writer.

After decades of living together, when the whole country considered this couple exemplary, Eleanor was offended by her husband who filed for divorce and began to tell what the union with the writer really was. Many unpleasant words were said about the now ex-husband, impartially characterizing the character of a man and behavior in everyday life.

However, few people know that while the ex-wife was on television, the writer himself was struggling with a serious illness - cancer. The man went to Germany, where he underwent chemotherapy. At first, Eleanor was next to her husband, took care of the writer, but the woman's patience was enough for several months, after which Filina simply went back to Russia and left Edward alone in a foreign country.

Ouspensky did not comment on Eleanor's actions for a long time, but once made a statement that the reason for this behavior of a woman is huge financial debts, which, according to the writer, the ex-wife wants to close at the expense of Eduard Nikolaevich.

Scandalous "Live" with Eleonora Filina

Nevertheless, Edward's character was really difficult, this is confirmed by relatives and colleagues. Not everyone could cope with it and productively maintain personal and work relationships. At some point, some individual character traits of Eduard Nikolayevich even put an end to the then unknown story about - the essay was refused to be published, fearing sudden scandals and claims from the writer.

The writer rarely wrote to order, as he did not consider it necessary to make adjustments to stories at the behest of third-party people. This intransigence often spoiled the writer's work and personal relationships. On the other hand, perhaps, without it, Ouspensky's beloved characters would not have seen the light in the unique form that the author gave them.

As for the writer himself, the man adored animals and birds, parrots and dogs constantly lived in his house, which the writer took care of with pleasure. Eduard worked every day, composing in a country house and in Moscow. In his free time, he liked to watch foreign series, especially on medical topics. Ouspensky's favorite serial film was "".

It is known that Eduard Nikolaevich respected creativity. That is why the charismatic actor was entrusted with dubbing the cat from Prostokvashino.

In April 2018, the writer gave an interview in which he said that his second wife, Elena Uspenskaya, was next to him. The woman forgave her ex-husband and returned. Recently, Edward and his wife lived in peace and harmony, supported each other and did not remember the past. The couple hoped that the writer would cope with the illness.

And Eleonora Filina, it turns out, went to a young lover who is 30 years younger than her. The TV presenter took out a loan of 6 million rubles for the guy to open a business, but the business went bankrupt.

Filin herself does not admit this. The woman only says that she could no longer be close to her despotic husband. According to Eleanor, Filina wanted to divorce Uspensky for a long time, but her husband's state of health and diagnosis stopped her.

Death

August 14, 2018 in his Moscow home. The cause of death of the writer was cancer, with which he fought for several years. He underwent treatment in Germany, after the operation the disease receded for a short time.

Eduard Uspensky - Biography

Crocodile Gena, Cheburashka, cat Matroskin... It seems they grew up with us. They moved from the pages of books to TV, and then to store shelves in the form of plush toys. and all this time their "father" - Eduard Uspensky - carefully watched them.

Everything would be fine, only he couldn’t forgive his parents for the lack of sandwiches. Everyone at recess eats the rolls with sausage prepared by their mothers, and he can only swallow his saliva. Edik, whose childhood and youth fell on the difficult war and post-war years, knew that it was not easy for his mother. His father died, there was a catastrophic lack of money in the family ... Such was the difficult biography of Eduard Uspensky's childhood.

Eduard Uspensky - Counselor-hooligan

It is easy to be good when there is peace and harmony in the family. And he has no father, he was never close to his mother. It is not surprising that the boy grew up as a bully.

The teachers clutched their heads at Ouspensky's antics. Finally, the head teacher said his weighty word: “Let him be the leader of the kids. As long as he teaches them discipline, maybe he himself will draw something useful. There was nothing to do, I had to take second graders under my wing. Edik turned out to be a good mentor, he immediately found an approach to the children.

Once Ouspensky was hospitalized with a broken leg. Afraid of falling behind the class, he asked his mother to bring him textbooks. While the bones were growing together, he studied them inside and out. Mathematics was especially easy. His further path in his biography was obvious: after school, Eduard entered the Moscow Aviation Institute.

Cheburakhnuty hero

All the students were waiting for the next issue of the wall newspaper. With special interest they read the literary page, where Uspensky's epigrams were printed. Although he had a mathematical mindset, he “pulled” in a completely different direction. Eduard enrolled in the student theater, wrote sketches for actors, feuilletons. Over time, children's poems appeared in his repertoire. Surrounding disdainfully called them: "counting", alluding to the unpretentiousness of the creations.

The well-known writer Boris Zakhoder believed in the young author. “You can be good,” he said bluntly and began to help the budding talent. True, not everyone was so supportive. The literary pillars of that time - Aleksin, Mikhalkov, Barto - reacted with coolness to Uspensky. However, the author did not care much. Heroes have already begun to be born in his head, which in a few years will become almost a national treasure.

Once visiting a friend, Ouspensky witnessed a most amusing scene. The daughter of a friend, a girl of about four years old, measured a fur coat for growth. The floors were so long that when she tried to take a step, she immediately fell down. Those present died with laughter, and the father proclaimed:

Well, natural Cheburashka!

Ouspensky became interested: what does "Cheburashka" mean? They explained to him that cheburahnutsya - that is, to fall, hence the nickname. Eduard Nikolaevich remembered. Thus was born his first hero.

In 1966, the book "Crocodile Gena and his friends" was published. The composer Yan Frenkel recognized himself in the friendly crocodile, and the obnoxious old woman Shapoklyak Uspensky partially wrote off from himself, and partially from his first wife Rimma.

Eduard Uspensky - biography of personal life

It is many years later that Ouspensky will see the harmful Shapoklyak in his first wife, but at the first meeting he had a completely different impression. Yes, and familiar couples claimed that Rimma looked more like Uncle Fyodor's mother than a sarcastic old woman. Rimma gave birth to Uspensky's daughter Tanya, was faithful and loved the writer. But, as they say, in my personal life it didn’t grow together ...

Eduard Nikolayevich loved his daughter unconsciously and after the divorce he took him to a new family. Elena, the second wife, did not mind. He met her in the cafeteria of the cartoon studio. The woman did not know who Uspensky was, and did not read his stories. The writer handed her a book about Prostokvashino. Elena opened it in the trolleybus and laughed all the way home. The relationship started...

The couple did not have their own children, so they decided to adopt twins - Ira and Sveta. The girls gave a new meaning to the life of Ouspensky, who then had a difficult period. Eduard Nikolaevich passionately wanted to write, but he was stubbornly not published. Added fuel to the fire and censorship. Cheburashka was called “rootless, cosmopolitan,” and about the crocodile, Gena reported: “In our country, friends are not looking for ads, but in a team!”

But Ouspensky had no doubt that he wrote well, and young readers pleased him with excellent reviews. While the powers that be did not allow the writer to be published, he traveled to schools, kindergartens, hospitals and read his stories.

Over time, Ouspensky's books nevertheless began to appear on the shelves. The children especially liked the story "Uncle Fyodor, the dog and the cat", first published in 1973. Eduard Nikolaevich himself recalls with a smile the appearance of the cat Matroskin. He copied it from his friend Tolya Taraskin, even offered to give the hero the name of a friend. But Taraskin objected: “Do you want to disgrace me all over Moscow ?!” So the cat became Matroskin, and the friend later realized that he was stupid.

Ouspensky admitted that for him every story is like a sermon. Not just a way to amuse little readers, but an attempt to teach something. Although the writer understood: sometimes children themselves will teach a lot. One day he approached them directly. In 1986, on the air of the Pioneer Dawn radio program, the author invited the children to send him stories about what they were most afraid of. A couple of weeks later, his office was littered with letters. Having collected all the horror stories together, Ouspensky published the book Red Hand, Black Sheet, Green Fingers. Reading it to children was scary, but interesting!

In the early 1990s, the writer began broadcasting "Ships Came into Our Harbor" on the radio. Initially, it was conceived as a children's song - the children had to remember songs that were close to them in spirit. But then it turned out that this format is more interesting for adults, and they wanted to be nostalgic for completely different compositions - courtyard, table, student. We decided to go on about the listener. So Eduard Nikolaevich got a new brainchild and ... a new love.

A young woman was sent to the post of editor of the program - a quiet, modest Eleonora Filina. Eduard Nikolaevich liked the new employee - especially since relations with his wife had long been cool. A second divorce and a new marriage were only a matter of time.

Filina and Uspensky led the program together, raised their son Eleanor from a previous marriage, shared joys and disappointments. Probably because their union seemed so ideal from the outside, it was so unexpected to hear from Filina: “My husband is a tyrant!”

In 2011, she filed for divorce and told the public about how her husband hated her son, how he quarreled with her, raised his hand. She told about the abortion, which she never regretted. She admitted that she wanted to divorce her despot husband before, but she took pity on him - Eduard Nikolaevich was diagnosed with a malignant tumor. She gave vent to feelings only when she realized: nothing threatens the life of the writer.

Ouspensky did not delay - with an answer - he blocked her access to accounts, denigrated her in front of friends, threatened to kick her out of the program (which, in the end, was closed). Public opinion was mixed. Some accused Filina of trying to cash in on the name of a famous writer, while others felt sorry for the unfortunate woman.

Eduard Nikolaevich himself plunged into work. New books began to appear, new characters appeared - the gutta-percha little man Geveichik, the magpie Zoyka, the cat Aska. Will they become as legendary as the cat Matroskin and Cheburashka, time will tell.

Writer's death

Youth

Covering the biography of Eduard Uspensky begins in 1937, when he was born in Yegorievsk. His father was a cynologist, so there were always a lot of animals around the hero of our article. His two brothers, Yuri and Igor, also grew up in the family. Nationality, the biography of Eduard Uspensky has always interested fans of his talent. He was of mixed blood: his mother was Russian and his father was Jewish.

When the boy was 10 years old, his father, Nikolai Uspensky, died. Edik grew up as a mischievous child, studied poorly. Only once in the hospital with a broken leg, he took up his mind. He began to study well at school, he was especially good at mathematics.

An important stage in the biography of Eduard Uspensky is his studies at the Moscow Aviation Institute. After graduating, he went to work as an engineer. Already at that time, a passion for literature appeared in the biography of Eduard Nikolaevich Uspensky. In his free time, he writes stories and scripts for children.

The fact is that even at school, the hero of our article constantly fiddled with young pioneers, was their leader, came up with funny songs and children's poems. At the university, he played in KVN and participated in skits.

Having taken up writing poems and stories for children, he published infrequently. But his humorous stories and sketches turned out to be in demand. As a result, by profession, he worked for a short time.

Artwork for children

Representatives of Soyuzmultfilm played a decisive role in the biography of Eduard Nikolaevich Uspensky, who drew attention to his work. At the same time, it was not easy for him to publish. He was often criticized for the lack of traits of true pioneers in his heroes. Often the censorship found Ouspensky's stories and novellas to be too frivolous.

He found an outlet only at Soyuzmultfilm, where his works began to be filmed, and he himself wrote scripts.

In the biography of Eduard Uspensky, real popularity came to him in the late 70s. He began to actively read stories and poems, in the 80s he published a separate collection with stories about the cat Matroskin, Shapoklyak and Kolobok. At the same time, the fairy tales "Koloboks are investigating" and "Guarantee little men" appear.

"Samovar"

Ouspensky also worked on television. It was he who became the ideological inspirer and actual creator of a number of programs for children and adolescents of all ages.

He published all his new works in the Samovar publishing house, which for many years became practically his own. So, in 2016, he wrote a play dedicated to the magical river, which was the basis for a full-fledged performance.

Conflict with Soyuzmultfilm

In recent years, he has developed a difficult relationship with the Soyuzmultfilm studio, which once gave a start to his works.

At the end of 2017, the hero of our article sent an open letter to President Vladimir Putin, in which he accused the studio of violating his copyrights. He claimed that he did not give permission to release the continuation of the animated series about Prostokvashino. The release of new series was not agreed and approved with him.

The updated series began airing in April 2018.

Personal life

There were many difficulties in the biography and personal life of Eduard Uspensky. He was married three times. His first wife was Rimma, with whom they studied together at the Aviation Institute. In the biography of Eduard Uspensky, personal life is closely intertwined with his work. For example, it was Rimma who became the prototype of the old woman Shapoklyak. The writer admitted that his wife was harmful, but despite this, they were married from 1963 to 1980.

In 1968 their daughter Tatyana was born. She is a graduate of the Forest Institute, but now works as a hairdresser. Tatyana has two children - Eduard and Ekaterina. It was the cry of his daughter that once helped him come up with the legendary character Cheburashka.

Elena Borisovna

In 1980, the writer married a second time. The biography of the wife of Eduard Uspensky Elena Borisovna is as follows. She is 23 years younger than her husband, after graduating from a construction institute, she worked on television in the department that was involved in the operation of the building. Uspensky at that time was just getting used to Soyuzmultfilm. They met at a canteen.

Their relationship began with the fact that 42-year-old Eduard suggested that 20-year-old Elena read his book about Prostokvashino. As you can see, stories for children in the biography of Eduard Uspensky influenced his personal life here too.

After the divorce, the writer took his daughter Tatyana, who at that time was 12 years old, to him.

With Elena, Edward did not have joint children. In the 1990s, they adopted twin foster daughters, Svetlana and Irina, who had a disability due to kidney problems.

Eleonora Filina

In a brief biography of Eduard Uspensky, it is necessary to tell about his third wife - the host of the TV show "Ships entered our harbor." They worked together on this project, and soon they began an office romance.

The divorce from Elena turned out to be loud and scandalous. The second wife of the writer constantly appeared on television, condemning his behavior. She was offended by her husband, who left her after 23 years of marriage.

Ouspensky's health at that time deteriorated, as he was diagnosed with cancer. In 2003, he and Elena divorced. Eduard went to Germany, where he underwent a course of chemotherapy. His third wife Eleanor was at first nearby, but then returned to Russia, in fact leaving her husband alone in a foreign country one on one with a fatal illness. Uspensky did not comment on this act to journalists for a long time. Only later did he admit that it was all the fault of the large debts that Eleanor wanted to pay off at the expense of his savings. In 2011 they divorced.

Eleanor left Ouspensky for a young lover who was 30 years her junior. She took out a loan so that her young man opened a business, but he went bankrupt. Ouspensky's ex-wife owed 6 million rubles.

Filin herself denies these accusations, arguing that she simply could not get along next to the despotic Uspensky. According to her, she had long wanted a divorce. Only the writer's serious illness stopped her.

The fact that Ouspensky really had a difficult character is confirmed by many of his friends and colleagues. Not everyone could get along with him. The writer almost never wrote to order, because he could not stand it when strangers ruled his work. Because of his intransigence, he often came into conflict, spoiled relations with many influential people. At the same time, it is worth recognizing that without his inherent integrity, Ouspensky's characters would not have been born the way we all know them today. This unique look was given to them by the author himself.

At home, he always had a lot of animals and birds, which the writer took care of with pleasure. In recent years, Ouspensky lived in his country house and Moscow apartment, working in a busy schedule every day.

In his free time, he preferred to watch foreign series on medical topics, his favorite is "Doctor House" with Hugh Laurie in the title role.

It is known that Ouspensky adored the work of Oleg Tabakov. That is why he entrusted him to voice one of his most beloved characters - the cat Matroskin.

Last years

In April 2018, Ouspensky gave an interview, from which it became known that his second wife Elena returned to him, they began to live together again. Having forgiven each other old grievances, they began to live in harmony, not remembering the past. They hoped that the writer would be able to cope with the disease.

On August 14, 2018, Ouspensky died at his home in Moscow from cancer, which he had been battling for many years. Treatment in Germany did not bring the desired results, the disease receded only for a short time, and then returned with renewed vigor.

According to the stories of his daughter Tatyana, the day before he became ill. The writer lost consciousness. An ambulance was called, but the doctors were powerless to help him.

Eduard Uspensky was 80 years old. He was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery.
