How to cook:


  1. Rinse fresh chicken breast and cook in salted water, adding any spices and herbs. You can also take a ham and, after boiling it, remove the meat from the bones.

  2. Grind the chicken meat, cutting it into small pieces. Or you can save time and effort by putting the chicken in a food processor and grinding until it becomes fine crumbs.

  4. Stir until the mixture becomes homogeneous.

  5. Grate hard cheese on a coarse or fine grater. It is better to take the variety that is saltier.

  6. Take 1m long pita bread or two small sheets, maybe they will be round or oval. In any case, there should be two of them. If the oval or round sheets are large, feel free to cut them into two parts. Using a pastry brush, spread some of the chicken filling over the sheet.

  7. Cover with a second sheet, trying to match the edges.

  8. Make a mayonnaise grid on the second sheet of pita bread. Go over with a brush to create an even, thin layer.

  9. Sprinkle the second sheet thickly with grated cheese. The more cheese, the tastier the snack will be.

  10. Wash and dry fresh herbs, chop finely.

  11. Sprinkle chopped herbs on top of the cheese.

  12. Start wrapping the stuffed pita bread into a tight roll. Grease the edge of the sheet with mayonnaise so that the roll is solid and holds its shape.

  13. Now wrap the roll in cling film, wrap it tightly and put it in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes, but better for an hour or two or even overnight.

  14. Before serving, unroll the film and cut the chicken and cheese roll into pieces 4-5 cm thick.

Place the chicken fillet in cold water so that it is just covered with water, bring to a boil, skim off the foam and add salt. Cook until done, about 30 minutes. If you have half a fillet, you should cook it less, about 20 minutes is enough. Cool the finished fillet to room temperature and chop it finely. You can separate the fillet into fibers without cutting - choose at your discretion.




Spread a sheet of lavash. Lubricate its surface with mayonnaise, not reaching one of the edges by about 2 cm.

A baked appetizer with mushrooms, chicken, leeks and spinach will please the gourmet’s taste buds:

  • 500 g chicken fillet;
  • 2 pcs. leeks with feathers;
  • 250 g mushrooms;
  • 4 tbsp. l. olive oil;
  • 2 tablespoons flour;
  • 2 glasses of milk;
  • 40 g butter;
  • 1 tbsp. l. French mustard;
  • 100 g spinach;
  • 8 sheets of thin pita bread;
  • 1 cup shredded cheese.

To prepare the recipe, you can choose different varieties of mushrooms. Follow the instructions exactly:

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees, prepare a baking dish by greasing it with oil.
  2. Grind the fillet, cut the leeks and mushrooms into slices, remove excess liquid from the frozen spinach.
  3. Fry half the chicken in oil in a frying pan (3-4 minutes), warming the dishes well. Transfer to a bowl and repeat with remaining chicken.
  4. Fry the leeks and mushrooms separately until excess liquid is removed. Mix with chicken.
  5. Melt the butter in a clean frying pan and mix with the flour, bringing to a golden hue over low heat.
  6. Start pouring milk into the butter in a thin stream, removing the pan from the heat.
  7. Add mustard and place over medium heat for 5 minutes. As soon as the sauce begins to thicken, remove it from the heat.
  8. Mix the sauce with the chicken, add the spinach and bring to a boil.
  9. Form the filling into rolls and place them in the pan.
  10. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and bake for 20 minutes until crust forms.
