Alexander Borisov, co-chairman of the Roskontrol Consumer Union, confirmed that the quality of products in Russian stores is declining. There are three reasons for this:

1. In 2010, obligatory certification was canceled in Russia food products and a declaration of conformity has been introduced. That is, no participation is required to release the product. independent expertise and laboratory research.
2. Sanctions. With a decrease in competition, new manufacturers and new products poured into the market. Certification bodies have ceased to cope with the sharply increased volumes of new products.
3. In modern economic conditions, manufacturers have been forced to go to a significant reduction in the quality, and sometimes the safety of products.

Rely on yourself only. Read labels carefully and watch what you put in your grocery basket! The independent non-profit organization "Roskontrol" helps buyers with this. It conducts research on products through donations from companies and people, among which there are no interested parties.

Representatives of the organization buy all goods as ordinary consumers - through retail stores.

Then they depersonalize them and send samples to experts. If tests show that the product is a threat to human health or the manufacturer is deceiving the buyer, the product is blacklisted.

In January 2016, the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor conducted a scheduled inspection of the Belevsky city market (Belev, Sovetskaya st., 83).

The inspection revealed violations:

• no cleaning interval
• the integrity of the floors and walls in the pavilion was violated
• no knife sterilizers
• temperature conditions are not provided
• regular disposal of waste is not ensured

The market was fined 50,000 rubles.

Rospotrebnadzor confirmed the ban on washing powders. They began to withdraw due to alleged non-compliance with safety standards. This is done "in the implementation of federal state sanitary and epidemiological supervision and federal state supervision in the field of consumer protection," the site reports.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, the study of goods continues even now. On the very official website of the department, they posted a message stating that it removes from sale products that do not comply with established requirements.

Rospotrebnadzor continues to investigate banned powders to this day, so it’s still not clear at all what kind of powders Russians will soon stop buying.

By the way, despite the fact that only now they have begun to vigorously discuss the topic of banning washing powders and other household chemicals, in fact, such detergents have been withdrawn from Russian stores and supermarkets since July 28. that during the scheduled inspection, questions arose to the import manufacturer Henkel.

By the way, receipt of letters from Rospotrebnadzor demanding to withdraw these products from sale was confirmed by Metro Cash & Carry, Auchan and X5 Retail Group. Dixie has not yet received an appeal.

Henkel management said, in turn, that "all household products undergo a mandatory state registration procedure for compliance with established requirements before they go on sale," and that "toxicological safety is a priority indicator for control."

It is interesting that the St. Petersburg "Nevskaya cosmetics" also got into the list of "prohibited". And all because of the fact that the company owns the Ukrainian enterprise "Vinnitsabytchim".

Which washing powders will soon disappear from store shelves and which ones should be stocked up right now is not yet clear not only to an ordinary Russian, but also to Rospotrebnadzor itself.

Recall that the list of prohibited products includes Vernel Spring Freshness fabric softener, Persil Expert Sensitive washing powder and Pemos Children's detergent - all of them are produced on Russian enterprises in Perm and Engels. Also under the ban were Fairy Platinum dishwashing detergent (supplied by Procter & Gamble from the Czech Republic), liquid soap "Palmolive Naturel Intensive Moisturizing Olive and Moisturizing Milk" (Colgate-Palmolive, Turkey), German floor cleaner and care Emsal (Werner & Mertz GmbH), "UniCUM floor cleaner universal SPA", "Luxus Professional Clean floor Parquet" (CJSC "ESP-Contract GmbH", Moscow region), universal antibacterial cleaner for all types of surfaces "Formula 409" (The Clorox Company, USA) and others.

The Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) checks products to determine their safety.

The work of the service is aimed at caring for the population of the country. Rospotrebnadzor, as far as possible, tries to prevent the sale of products that pose a threat to the population or do not comply with Russian legislation.

The Consumer Protection Act requires manufacturers of any food product to list all ingredients on their packaging. Thanks to this, a person learns whether the product is useful, whether it is worth its price, whether such a purchase is necessary for a person.

Having found a discrepancy between the composition and description of the contents of the package, Rospotrebnadzor employees blacklist the product and prohibit its sale.

Products with inappropriate quality are on the black list of Rlsptrebnadzor

One of the frequent violations that Rospotrebnadzor fights is that food manufacturers do not indicate that their products contain Palm oil, various substitutes and potentially dangerous substances category "E".

The check is carried out according to the following criteria:

• conformity of contents and labels;
• compliance with GOST and TU;
• production and storage conditions;
• use of prohibited substances;
• sanitary and epidemiological safety of products;
• availability of necessary licenses, permits and certificates.

This approach allows you to identify low-quality products and their manufacturer.

After the discovery of low-quality products, employees of Rospotrebnadzor determine at what stage of production or storage the product ceased to meet the standards adopted in Russia. Then they remove the entire batch of products from sale and send a request to the manufacturer to correct the detected deficiencies. Until the deficiencies are corrected, the product is blacklisted by Rospotrebnadzor.

If at the appointed time the manufacturer or supplier has not eliminated the deficiencies, then Rospotrebnadzor blacklists all the products of this enterprise.

Where can I read the black list of Rospotrebnadzor products?

According to Rospotrebnadzor employees, a portal will be created to publish a black list of prohibited products. Now this information has to be sought on the websites of the regional branches of this organization.

The black list of different regions is different, because there is no single base, in which all the results of the checks would be entered.

Therefore, buyers have to rely on black lists and the results of verification of various organizations posted on the Internet.

One of the products, Kostromskoy cheese, produced by Mastersyr LLC (Voronezh region), was purchased at the Magnit store located in Yaroslavl, st. Kalinina, 11 and owned by ZAO Tander. According to the results of the check, a discrepancy with GOST R 52972-2008 was found and the presence of sterols in the cheese, which should not be there.

Russian retailers, by order of Rospotrebnadzor, began to withdraw cleaning products and detergents from foreign companies from the shelves, Kommersant writes. We are talking about products from brands such as Henkel, Procter & Gamble and Colgate-Palmolive. The agency explains this step by the fact that some of their products do not meet regulatory requirements.

At the disposal of the publication was a letter from the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, addressed to the territorial departments of the service. It notes that laboratory studies of household chemicals and detergents were carried out, as a result of which it turned out that some of the products did not meet the regulatory requirements for sanitary-chemical and toxicological safety indicators. According to the representative of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Sergeeva, the inspections were planned.

In particular, the inspectors had complaints about Persil Expert Sensitive washing powder and Vernel, spring freshness fabric softener from Henkel. In addition, the list includes Fairy Platinum dishwashing detergent (supplied by Procter & Gamble from the Czech Republic), Palmolive Naturel, Intense Moisturizing Olive and Moisturizing Milk liquid soap (Colgate-Palmolive, Turkey) and other products.

The letter states that “in order to prevent harm to the life and health of citizens”, it is necessary to take measures to identify these products with their subsequent withdrawal from circulation.

The receipt of letters to the publication was confirmed in the networks of Metro Cash & Carry, Auchan and X5 Retail Group (Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, Karusel).
