Lower back hurts what injections will help. Injections for the treatment of the back. Painkillers in tablets

Back pain significantly worsens a person's life, interfering with work and rest. But in order to prescribe treatment, the doctor must first conduct a detailed examination of the body and make a diagnosis. Unfortunately, it is impossible to do this without eliminating the exacerbation and pain syndrome. To cope with acute painful symptoms, injections of diclofenac, movalis, milgamma, etc. are used. These drugs are usually administered intramuscularly by injection into the buttock. In some cases, if the pain is very severe, the doctor may inject directly into the affected area. This approach is called blockade, for which novocaine or lidocaine is usually used. Having correctly placed the blockade, they achieve rapid relief of symptoms, since injections instantly eliminate spasm and reduce inflammation.

Back pain - modern man's payment for civilization

Unlike the ancient progenitor, modern man does not need to run after a mammoth for days and climb trees for dry branches in order to have something to eat and something to keep warm. All the benefits of civilization are at our service - we have stopped using our feet as a means of transportation over long distances, any physical labor has long been replaced by mechanisms, even the physical efforts applied in the household of a modern woman are incomparable to those that were 30-50 years ago .

Constant sitting behind the wheel, at a desk, at an office computer cannot but affect health. The lack of physical activity and, on the contrary, the constant tension of the same muscles does not contribute to the optimal functioning of organs and systems - over time, pathological changes accumulate, leading to various exacerbations and diseases.

Most often, back pain is associated with spinal problems caused by degenerative changes in structural elements, congenital problems, uneven loads, curvature due to poor posture, lack of movement exercises. The back often hurts due to injuries that have gone unnoticed or not fully healed.

The spine is the most important life support organ, which is a kind of center and basis for the interaction of all organs and systems of the human body. Through the spinal cord passing through it, he "knows" about each organ and reacts with pain signals in the back if this organ fails. Therefore, diseases not only of the musculoskeletal corset, but also of the internal organs are manifested by different strengths and sensations (pulling, sharp, aching, intolerable, shooting, dull) syndromes.

Every year the number of cases of disability due to advanced back pain increases, but the trends are such that, even suffering from them, people are in no hurry to change their lifestyle and run for medical help, believing that it should go away on its own. This is a very erroneous opinion - in fact, everything is much more complicated.

More about the causes of dorsalgia

Determining the cause is an important factor for developing tactics than treating back pain in the lumbar region, sometimes it takes a lot of time for this and diagnosis on modern equipment. The spread of causes is quite wide, and an error in identifying them can be very expensive. Let's talk about the main ones.

Diseases of the spinal column

These diseases include:

  1. Osteochondrosis - various changes, including degenerative, intervertebral discs, cartilage layers, compression of nerve roots by them. With the overwhelming number of complaints about back pain, the presence of this particular disease is evidenced.
  2. Osteomyelitis is an infectious purulent inflammation of the bone marrow structures. A fairly rare disease, but everyone has a risk of getting sick.
  3. Spondylolisthesis is a common cause of back problems, affecting 5-7% of the working population. With this diagnosis, the vertebral pedicle is deformed (in most cases, the fifth lumbar element) and hangs over the lower one, while protruding to one side. If an x-ray is taken at the same time, then the spine in this area will not resemble a pillar, but a kind of ladder. In this case, the pain is expressed as a chronic, changeable in intensity character, felt in the lower back, sometimes radiating to the gluteal region and lower limbs, and people get used to enduring it for years, not paying attention to it. Attacks of severe pain are recorded if the displaced vertebra presses on the nerve endings of the spinal cord.
  4. Fibromyalgia - various diseases of the muscle fibers of the back, in which their soreness and stiffness are recorded. Myofascial syndrome is their variety, in which permanent spasmodic areas of muscles are formed, which are seals - the so-called trigger points. They can give pain in the heart, shoulder blades, upper and lower limbs, in the costal arches.

If complaints at the doctor's appointment point to episodic pain, then in 80-85% of cases a cause is established associated with exorbitant prolonged loads on the spinal column - monotonous physical labor, static stress in the same position. ?

Do not be surprised if the doctor points out this reason to those who do not lift weights at all, regularly play sports, do not wave hoes in the garden, bending over - the back muscles can still experience daily overstrain during their usual activities. For example, if you sit tensely in front of a computer all day, it is the back muscles that get tired the most. Sometimes pain is caused by minor damage to the ligaments or muscles. In this case, the diagnosis of “back fatigue” is not made, but simply recommendations are given for rest and comfortable body postures. However, if the pain continues after 14 days, a more thorough identification of the cause should be carried out.

Compression fracture

This is a vertebral fracture that occurs more often in patients with osteoporosis or in the elderly. In these patients, the skeletal system is fragile due to the low density of the structure, and the bones can be deformed and broken due to the pressure of the body alone. Often the patient remains in ignorance for a long time about what happened, but the pains that do not subside usually do not give rest and force them to look for the cause. According to statistics, such fractures account for 4% of the causes of all back pain.

Hernia is a common culprit of pain

Intervertebral hernia is a very common cause of back pain, especially "loving" people over 40 years old, although it is increasingly being recorded in the younger age segment. It is caused by degenerative (age-related) changes in the connective and muscle fibers of the tissue. Gradually, the spine ages, sags, flattens, as a result of which the intervertebral discs protrude beyond the boundaries of the column and squeeze the adjacent nerve roots. The pain is acute, with localization in the lower back and legs. It is important in the diagnosis of the exact location of the hernia, so a magnetic resonance examination (MRI) is mandatory.

Bechterew's disease

This formidable disease is also called "ankylosing spondylitis" - a progressive pathology that often has a genetic origin. First, the lower back becomes inflamed, then the disease captures the cervical and thoracic regions - it affects the shoulder and carpal bone structures, the hip joints, and the articular elements that connect them to the spine. With unfavorable development, internal organs are affected - lungs, kidneys, heart, eyes. The consolation can be considered the fact that its cases are quite rare.

Oncology

Oncology is an inexorable cause of pain in 0.8% of those who seek help. These can be both cancerous tumors of the spine itself, and other organs that metastasize to its area. However, do not be afraid - usually such a formidable disease is recorded with completely different symptoms, and if you do not have a history of this part, then your back is unlikely to "make" you this diagnosis.

Spinal tissue infection

This is a rare cause of back pain (0.01%), but you should be aware of it. Infection from another organ travels through the bloodstream to the spine and causes symptoms of fever, general malaise, and weakness, just like the flu.

Modern methods of getting rid of back pain

After identifying the disease that is causing your problems, appropriate therapy is prescribed. Modern medicine has an extensive arsenal of tools that can stop the manifestations of any pathology and achieve a speedy cure. The complex of measures includes: methods of reflexology, physiotherapy, physiotherapy exercises, kinesiotherapy and massage.

Of the methods of reflexology, they have proven themselves well:

  • electroacupuncture - intermittent exposure to electrical impact through needles;
  • acupuncture injections of biologically active points;
  • electrical nerve stimulation is a method that stops pain signals going to the brain.

From the arsenal of physiotherapy procedures, it is more often used:

  • electrophoresis - the introduction of drugs using electrical impulses;
  • laser therapy - treatment with light beams of various spectra;
  • phonophoresis - ultrasound treatment;
  • magnetic therapy - exposure to a low-frequency magnetic field.

Surgical treatment, mainly excision of hernias, is used if conservative treatment fails. In case of detection of a chronic process that has acquired signs of an independent disease, it is necessary to receive special treatment, longer and more intensive.

The first stage in the treatment of back pain, as a rule, is drug therapy in the form of injections to block the pain syndrome. Let's talk about it in more detail.

Therapy with medications

Medicines used for back problems are intended for the following purposes:

  • removal of pain syndrome;
  • relief of the inflammatory process;
  • decrease in temperature;
  • muscle relaxation;
  • improvement of tissue trophism;
  • restoration of destroyed structures, etc.

For this, the following groups of drugs are used:

  1. Analgesics relieve inflammation and have an analgesic effect. Names of painkillers injections: analgin, paracetamol, indomethacin, ibuprofen, diclofenac, naproxen, milgamma. They are used in the form of injections, tablets, gels and rubs.
  2. Narcotic analgesics are designed to stop very severe pain. They are rarely prescribed, in cases where other drugs do not bring effect. These are morphine, codeine, promedol, fentanyl.
  3. A group of nonsteroidal medicines: meloxicam, neurobion, ketonal, diclofenac, trigamma. Injections of these drugs are able to stop the most acute, shooting pain that occurs when moving.
  4. A group of steroid drugs: prednisolone, hydrocortisone, flosterone, betamethasone, diprospan. These drugs are good for local elimination of the source of pain, but the duration of their action is short. Popular for blockades.
  5. Means that improve the microcirculation of affected tissues: trental, cavinton are secondary therapeutic agents for back problems. Their main role is to supply oxygen to diseased tissues.
  6. Vitamin-containing complexes, being at the same time nootropics, have an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect: milgamma, calcium, magnesium, vitamin D.
  7. A group of muscle relaxants relaxes muscles during various overvoltages, relieves increased tone, resolves trigger nodes, and eliminates spasms. These are mydocalm, seduxen, baclofen, artrozole, sirduralm, norflex.

Blockade of pain - the beginning of elimination of discomfort in the back

As a rule, a person is sometimes forced to seek professional help from doctors by acute, persistent back pain, which cannot be removed with local anesthesia (ointments or gels). Meanwhile, according to the unofficial guidelines of vertebrologists (specialists in diseases of the musculoskeletal system), acute pain in the cervical, thoracic or lumbar spine must be urgently eliminated, and this procedure is one of the priorities in treatment.

In this case, the doctor prescribes the so-called blockade of injections, that is, determines which injections to inject to relieve pain. Such therapeutic blockades are nothing more than the direct introduction of a drug into the focus of inflammation. They are the most effective means, giving long-term relief from pain and a pronounced therapeutic effect.

The drug effect of the type of blockade injections is always carried out within the walls of medical institutions, as it requires highly skilled execution techniques. This procedure should be carried out by doctors: traumatologists, neurologists, orthopedists, vertebrologists, neurosurgeons who thoroughly know the anatomy and structural features of the spine, and are aware of the possible complications in this case and are able to overcome them. Due to the seriousness of the procedure, the patient is always asked to sign consent for it.

Blockades are prescribed due to acute pain with:

  • osteochondrosis of all parts of the back;
  • intercostal neuralgia and neuritis;
  • herpes zoster;
  • intervertebral disc protrusion;
  • with hernias;
  • herpes zoster;
  • muscle inflammation;
  • spondylarthrosis of the spinal column.

Blockade types

The therapeutic value of the blockade is due to the purposeful "interception" of the pain impulse coming from the pathological source of pain to the neurons of the brain. The effect is achieved largely due to the accuracy of manipulations.

Solutions for blockades are by the number of active substances:

  • one-component, in which the blockade is one substance;
  • two-component - from 2 substances;
  • multicomponent - contain three or more active ingredients.

In the treatment of pain at trigger points, blockades of anesthetics are administered:

  • lidocaine;
  • merkain;
  • novocaine.

These blockades successfully relax the muscles and restore their lost tone. Susceptibility testing is carried out before their introduction, as they often cause allergies.

Powerful anti-inflammatory drugs that eliminate swelling, inflammation and pain are glucocorticosteroids:

  1. Dexamethasone - is mainly used for the blockade of soft structures.
  2. Hydrocortisone - in combination with analgesics, neural blockades are produced.
  3. Diprospan - has a prolonged action.
  4. Kenalog - used for quick pain relief of the joints and spine, requires rare, with an interval of 2 weeks, application.

Blockades that are produced to eliminate pain in areas adjacent to the spine are called paravertebral, or paravertebral. The doctor decides which injections to prescribe in order to relieve the syndrome associated with both physiology and neurology of the spine.

They differ in the place of influence:

  1. Receptor - these types of injections are performed in biologically active points of the skin, ligaments, tendons and muscles.
  2. Tissue - soft tissue is chipped near the affected part of the spine.
  3. Conduction - these injections stop the nerve conduction of the tissue.
  4. Ganglionic - pursue the "turn off" of the pain syndrome by injection directly into the nerve node.

The areas of application of blockades represent the entire topography of the human body, depending on the source of pain.

Introduction mechanism

The mechanism of administration can be different: subcutaneous, muscular, intradermal. Special skill requires injections into the intervertebral space, performed through a special catheter. Of course, without the high professionalism of medical workers, this procedure cannot be carried out.

Blockade injections are also of diagnostic value. If there is any doubt about which part of the spine provokes pain, the introduction of an analgesic substance into certain areas allows you to “turn off” it, if it is actually associated with the pathology of the spine. If the pain after the blockade injection does not subside, therefore, the cause should be sought elsewhere.

Difficulties are cases of far-reaching chronic pain, when they are no longer peripheral, but central, and are associated with a stable focus of excitation of brain structures. In this case, with the help of some blockades, pain is not enough, psychotherapy, additional treatment with antidepressants, antiepileptic drugs are called for help.

In some cases, the doctor rejects the possibility of using the blockade due to the presence of contraindications:

  • childhood;
  • general infection of the body;
  • pregnancy;
  • tendency to bleeding due to serious violations of the hematopoietic sphere;
  • unconscious or general serious condition of the patient;
  • hypersensitivity to those substances that need to be administered;
  • Heart arythmy;
  • hypotension;
  • psychical deviations.

Possible Complications

There is a risk of complications after blockades, as with any surgical intervention. However, the mutual coordination of the actions of a highly qualified doctor, a trained patient and the sterility of the procedure will help to significantly reduce it.

Undesirable consequences may be as follows:

  • infection of injection sites, infection in the spinal cord;
  • bleeding;
  • damage to various tissues - ligaments, muscles, nerves;
  • allergic reactions;
  • specific complications associated with exposure to administered substances.

Only after the removal of acute pain with the help of blockade injections, conditions arise for a detailed classification of symptoms and the appointment of a set of diagnostic measures to identify the exact cause of discomfort in the back.

The use of injections in the treatment of pain in the spine

With prolonged use of tablet forms of drugs, side inflammatory processes in the stomach and intestines are very often observed, which subsequently gives rise to the need for their treatment. Therefore, most doctors insist on taking a course of injections - an intramuscular or intravenous method of delivering medicine to a sore spot. Bypassing the gastrointestinal tract, the drug in the form of injections is delivered faster to the problem area and eliminates the manifestation of side effects.

The doctor prescribes injections for pain in the back and lower back based on the diagnosis made in the first week of the disease. Usually the scheme is a course of glucocorticoid hormones, analgesics, structure restorers, muscle relaxants, depending on the severity of the disease.

Injections are rightly considered the most effective method for relieving pain - they quickly stop acute attacks. Urgent use of painkillers injections require situations with:

  • the occurrence of unbearable pain;
  • tingling sensation in hands and feet;
  • with the appearance of unusual weakness and numbness in the limbs;
  • if there is pain during urination.

Therapy of diseases of the spine

The basis for the treatment of diseases of the spine and lower back are drugs that have both analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. Let's talk about some of them, especially popular due to their medicinal qualities.

diclofenac

This is one of the most popular drugs today, a kind of "gold standard" prescribed by doctors for the treatment of back and lower back problems with injections. Belongs, along with "brothers in the shop", ketanol and voltaren, to the line of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is produced as part of ointments and gels, however, it is the injections that have a strong and rapid anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect lasting at least 12 hours.

The special advantages of using diclofenac are expressed in the rapid entry of the active substance into the blood and in the minimal manifestations of side effects.

Drugs of the line of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, especially their new derivatives, are characterized by the achievement of a pronounced long-term effect in a short time, but some side effects cannot be excluded:

  • headaches, dizziness, insomnia;
  • violations of the kidneys, severe edema;
  • the likelihood of bleeding;
  • anemic conditions;
  • cramps of the lower extremities;
  • visual impairment, hearing loss;
  • digestive tract disorder;
  • allergic reactions (with injections of diclofenac sodium);
  • transformation of the injection site into an abscess.

Because of this, the appointment of a course of diclofenac for a short time (up to 4 days) is justified. After relief of unpleasant symptoms, the drug is not used. With caution, it is prescribed if dyspeptic disorders are present or there is a threat of bleeding.

Injections are prescribed once a day, in a single maximum dose of not more than 150 mg. Before use, the ampoule must be warmed in warm water. The introduction should reach the deep layers of the buttock, the place must be alternated due to the threat of an abscess. Subcutaneous and intravenous use of this device is not allowed.

  • children under 6 years old;
  • having diseases that threaten bleeding;
  • with diseases of the blood, kidneys and liver;
  • suffering from bronchial asthma;
  • people over 80 years old.

Meloxicam

This medicine is anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic, effectively eliminating pain of various etiologies in the body. Movalis is an identical medicine with the same active ingredient. To relieve back pain, it is very popular in the medical environment to prescribe this substance in the form of injections in a dosage corresponding to the type and severity of the disease.

The range of diseases in which treatment with meloxicam is indicated is quite wide:

  • osteochondrosis of various manifestations;
  • rheumatoid arthritis;
  • arthritis and arthrosis of unknown etiology;
  • joint pain;
  • radiculitis;
  • polyarthritis;
  • spondylitis;
  • osteoarthritis and osteoarthritis.

The drug is perfectly adsorbed, well absorbed (by 95%), does not affect the concentration of attention.

It is contraindicated in the following population groups:

  • persons with individual high sensitivity to it;
  • people with kidney and liver failure;
  • with exacerbations of ulcers of the digestive organs;
  • children under 16;
  • during pregnancy and feeding;
  • with a number of serious allergic diseases.

An important caveat regarding meloxicam is that it is undesirable to inject it simultaneously with other nonsteroidal drugs, since there is a high risk of intoxication. Also, its interaction with acetylsalicylic acid leads to ulcers and bleeding in the stomach and intestines.

For persons taking contraceptives and hypotonic agents, meloxicam injections reduce the effect of their use to zero. A high risk of reduced concentration during injections implies a restriction in driving.

Injections are usually prescribed at a dose of 7.5 milligrams of the active substance, once a day. With severe inflammation, the dose can be up to 15 mg. A course of 3-4 days is usually enough to relieve acute symptoms and pain relief.

In case of overdose, disorders can be observed:

  • gastrointestinal tract in the form of diarrhea, flatulence, vomiting;
  • activities of the cardiovascular sphere - palpitations, pressure surges;
  • respiratory system in the form of shortness of breath;
  • nervous system in the form of dizziness, tinnitus, confusion, disorientation, vasoconstriction of the brain;
  • organs of vision;
  • urinary system;
  • allergic reactions of the skin - rashes, urticaria.

Milgamma

This combined preparation includes solutions of compatible B vitamins:

  • thiamine;
  • B6 pyridoxine;
  • B-12 cyanocobalamin.

Amino acids of the B-group are responsible for the implementation of enzymatic reactions of the body, which play a key role in fat, carbohydrate and protein metabolism. Milgamma organizes nervous excitation in synapses, protects cell membranes from the toxic effects of oxidative reactions.

It is an erroneous opinion that milgamma is used as a general tonic for vitamin deficiency conditions. Milgamma injections are an active compound with excellent anti-pain properties that have not yet been fully explored.

Milgamma injections are successfully treated for all neurological problems of the spine, with a combination of various pains, muscular-tonic syndromes, paresis and neuralgia, and many others. They are used in combination with other elements of complex therapy. They are especially popular in the clinical environment when it is necessary to relieve acute vertebrogenic back pain.

The medicine is also effective for relieving acute pain. He is prescribed 2 mg for 10 days intramuscularly. With prolonged treatment of the disease, the doctor prescribes more rare injections - 2-3 injections per week for 3 weeks or a month.

The composition of the solution includes lidocaine, which ensures the painlessness of the procedure. The drug is characterized by safety in the light of side effects and high tolerability. A special therapeutic effect is observed when it is combined with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, in particular, with diclofenac. With this treatment, a more pronounced analgesic effect is observed than with monotherapy.

How to make an intramuscular injection at home

When the severity of the disease subsides, you will be blocked, the necessary diagnostic procedures will be completed and the doctor will determine the cause of the pain, and the necessary treatment will be prescribed. Most often it consists of a course of injections. In diseases that require hospitalization, the question of an injection disappears by itself. And if a home regimen with the passage of injections is recommended, then it is quite possible to give injections on your own. We are not talking about complex administration options - intravenous infusion or subcutaneous injection. Such injections require the qualification of a nurse at least. And with intramuscular injections, it is quite possible to cope by calling on the help of family members, of course, having previously received the approval of a doctor.

In life, there are often situations when you need to quickly give an injection not only to yourself, but also to family members, without resorting to the help of doctors, and this skill will come in handy more than once.

Moreover, there is nothing complicated in this. It is much more convenient when the injection is not done by you yourself, but by someone from your home. The procedure is as follows:

  1. Wash thoroughly with soapy hands.
  2. Shake the ampoule, break off the tip with a cotton swab, draw the medicine into the syringe, making sure that there are no air bubbles left. Cover the needle with a cap and temporarily set aside.
  3. Mentally determine the injection site on the buttock - divide it cross by cross, select the upper outer quadrant and wipe the injection site with alcohol. Injections are always placed in this place because the sciatic nerve is located at the greatest distance from here, the impact of which can bring big problems. Also, this quadrant has the largest muscle thickness, which contributes to the effectiveness of the procedure.
  4. Take the syringe in your right hand, (in the left - left-handed!) Remove the cap and insert the needle perpendicular to the skin surface into the prepared place for about 2/3 of the length, that is, so that 1/3 remains visible. If the injection is injected shallowly, under the surface of the skin, an abscess may occur.
  5. Do not administer the medicine too quickly by pushing the plunger with your thumb.
  6. Quickly pull out the syringe, apply an alcohol swab and massage this place a little.

As you can see, this is a fairly simple manipulation. To insure yourself, you can ask the nurse in the treatment room to demonstrate the first injection so as not to be afraid of pain.

It should be borne in mind that in the vast majority of therapeutic injections, their effect cannot be painless. Pain sensations remain in the muscles for a long time, radiate to the legs and lower backs, remind of themselves when walking, bending over, etc. This is a normal reaction of healthy tissues to an aggressive intrusion of a foreign body, although it brings healing in its final result.

Pain in the back and lower back can occur at any age. In order to quickly select a treatment and get rid of discomfort, it is necessary to establish the primary source of the pain syndrome. Often this can be the consequences of hypothermia, intervertebral hernia, the result of injuries and accidents, infringement of the sciatic nerve, or diseases of the musculoskeletal system. A correctly established diagnosis and the conclusion of a doctor will be the beginning of effective treatment and prevent the development of the disease and complications to other organs.

First you need to undergo a comprehensive examination of the whole body, get advice from a vertebrologist, osteopath, neurologist. In some cases, back pain is a signal of the presence of inflammatory processes in the body and diseases of the internal organs. To exclude them, it is recommended to be examined by a gynecologist, urologist and gastroenterologist. Having identified the cause of the pain, the doctor prescribes medication. Based on their nature of the pain syndrome and concomitant symptoms, an individual complex of drugs is selected.

Pain injections

For pain in the back and lower back, the doctor prescribes a number of painkillers, including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and a fortified complex of group B. They not only eliminate severe pain, but also help to cure inflammation, have a blockade effect on the affected areas of the back.

Vitamins B1, B12, B6 have analgesic properties and have a neurotropic effect. This group of drugs has a positive effect on metabolic processes in the body, improves the functioning of the nervous system, and restores damaged nerve endings. Injections with a vitamin complex help to deal with severe pain; with a chronic manifestation of pain, such injections are ineffective. The course of treatment lasts an average of 12-14 days, after which the patient's condition improves.

If there are no visible results with long-term use of painkillers, doctors resort to the injection and stretching method. The procedure is carried out by a doctor, the patient is in the prone position and novocaine solution is injected into the places of greatest pain and compaction. After the injection, it is necessary to slightly stretch the affected area of the back and make a hot compress. After the procedure, the patient is advised to perform active movements and increase the load on the painful muscle. Thus, its mobility is being developed.

In chronic aching pain, it is necessary to identify its type: central, neuropathic or reflected. Based on the type of pain syndrome and the possibility of side effects from the gastrointestinal tract and cardiovascular complications, the optimal list of drugs is selected. In most cases, it looks like this:

  • for dyspepsia, Nimesulide, Ibuprofen or their analogues (Diclofenac, Naproxen, Miloxicam) are prescribed;
  • in the absence of dyspeptic symptoms, any non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug can be used;
  • at the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, proton pump inhibitors (omeprazole) are injected together with NSAIDs;
  • for cardiovascular complications, injections include opioids, Paracetamol, Nimesulide (blood pressure measurement is mandatory);
  • in the presence of chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and cardiovascular pathologies, Omeprazmol and Nimesulide are combined with Aspirin.

With the correct start of treatment, the pain subsides within a week after the start of the course of treatment. In order to avoid relapse, it is necessary to undergo a full range of injections until the pain syndrome is completely relieved.

If there is no relief after anesthetic injections, the body is diagnosed to exclude tuberculosis, gonorrhea, syphilis and other pathologies that affect the spine and joints.

Anti-inflammatory injections

Back pain is often accompanied by inflammation of the internal organs and tissues, getting rid of them, you need to start treating pain. NSAIDs used to treat inflammation are divided into two large groups, which differ not only in their drug composition, but also in their effect on the gastrointestinal tract.

There are two groups of NSAIDs: selective and non-selective COX inhibitors. Non-selective contribute to the inhibition of cyclooxygenase enzymes, which are involved in the formation of inflammatory mediators. But such drugs have a bad effect on the internal organs of the gastrointestinal tract, they can provoke the formation of stomach ulcers.

Selective NSAIDs are more gentle on the stomach, have no side effects, and do not affect articular cartilage. Preparations of this type can be taken much longer without disturbing the normal functioning of the internal organs.

One of the non-selective NSAIDs is Diclofenac or its analogues Ortofen, Voltaren, Naklofen. The drug is used for pain in the spine, arthritis, osteoarthritis, spondylitis, attacks of gout, spondyloarthritis, postoperative pain and discomfort after trauma. The standard dosage is one ampoule per day (75 mg), with acute pain - 150 mg per day. The injection is injected into the gluteal muscle.

Contraindications to the use of Diclofenac:

  • pregnancy;
  • lactation period;
  • children's age (up to 18 years there may be exceptions and individually selected dosage);
  • stomach ulcer;
  • liver disease.

Movalis (Meloxicam, Amelotex, Artrozan) is considered the most common non-selective NSAID. The drug is used in the chronic form of polyarthritis, spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, acute arthrosis. It is administered intramuscularly in the initial stages of the disease or in acute pain. Next is the transition to the tablet form.

Contraindications for use:

  • pregnancy;
  • the period of breastfeeding;
  • heart failure;
  • children's age up to 15 years;
  • stomach ulcer;
  • tendency to bleeding of the gastrointestinal tract and other organs.

Preparations containing B vitamins help relieve pain and eliminate inflammation. They are extremely effective in the acute stage of the disease. Among them, the Milgamma component of which is pyridoxine hydrochloride (B6), thiamine hydrochloride (B1), cyanocobalamin (B12), lidocaine hydrochloride with a complex of auxiliary components. The injection is carried out intramuscularly once a day, 2 ml. To maintain the result and prevent recurrence, when acute pain is eliminated, 2 ml of the drug is administered up to three times a week.

Milgamma is prescribed for myalgia, neuritis, radicular syndrome, neuralgia, paresis and polyneuropathy. A contraindication to an injection is:

  • pregnancy;
  • lactation period:
  • the patient's age is up to 16 years;
  • heart failure.

Troychatka

To relieve back pain, a triad injection is used, the active ingredients are diphenhydramine, analgin and papaverine. The drugs are combined in one injection and administered intramuscularly. The injection effectively relieves sharp pain provoked by both diseases of the musculoskeletal system and post-traumatic complications. In addition, the triad has antipyretic properties.

Diphenhydramine as part of an injection blocks histamine receptors in the periphery and has a sedative effect. Papaverine is considered an antispasmodic drug that affects vascular smooth muscle. Analgin is used as an anesthetic.

The dosage is prescribed by the attending physician according to the type of pain and individual tolerability of the drugs. The standard triad consists of 1 ml of 1% diphenhydramine, 2 ml of 2% papaverine and 2 ml of a 50% solution of dipyrone.

Note!

Analgin can cause allergic reactions. Allergy sufferers replace it in triad with aspirin.

Injections for sciatica

Radiculitis is treated with intramuscular injections of anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs. In addition, the doctor may prescribe drugs that will help relieve swelling in the affected area of the back and improve trophic processes. Injections give a positive result much earlier than the tablet form of the drug. To eliminate pain in the back area, the following drugs are prescribed:

1 Voltaren. Refers to the number of anti-inflammatory drugs used to treat sciatica and rheumatic diseases. The injection is injected deep into the muscle; injections should not be repeated for more than two days in a row. To enhance the effect, Voltaren can be combined with the tablet form of the drug.

2 Ketonal. The drug is listed in the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and is often prescribed not only for sciatica, but also for other pathologies of the spine and musculoskeletal system. Ketonal anesthetizes and prevents excessive sensitivity of pain receptors.

3 Ozone injections. A new method of dealing with sciatica is an injection of ozone with steroid drugs. It reliably eliminates back pain, but it is used only once - by injection into the affected area of the back.

Injections for hernia

Medical treatment of a hernia includes mandatory injections for back pain relief and relaxation of the strangulated endings. Novocaine blockade will effectively relieve back pain and keep the result for a long time. The procedure should be carried out only by a specialist, an incorrectly administered solution can provoke violations of the motor function of the spine and the patient's nervous system. There are two types of novocaine blockade, which differ in the way the drug is administered:

  • injections into the intercostal region with a special needle (the doctor injects a novocaine solution into the pinched nerve, it is very important not to get into the neurovascular bundle);
  • epidural injections, which are administered between the dura mater of the spinal cord and the periosteum of the spinal canal.

In addition to novocaine blockade and epidural injection, a person requires constant monitoring and maintenance of health. The doctor may prescribe NSAIDs, vitamin complexes, pain medications. An integrated approach to eliminating the cause of pain syndrome will help to get rid of discomfort in the back and lower back as soon as possible.

In modern medicine, there are a number of medications that will help eliminate pain and relieve inflammation. Among them are the following drugs:

1 Traumeel. Treat anti-inflammatory, analgesic and analgesic drugs. It is prescribed for severe pain syndrome. The dosage for adults is one ampoule per day, with massive back damage, injections of two ampoules are possible. For children under six years of age, the fourth part of the ampoule is administered as prescribed by the pediatrician.

Contraindications are:

  • AIDS, HIV infection;
  • multiple sclerosis;
  • tuberculosis;
  • leukemia;
  • lupus and autoimmune connective tissue diseases.

2 Alflutop. The drug prevents destructive processes in tissues and restores articular cartilage, has analgesic properties. The course of treatment is twenty days, one ampoule (1 ml) per day. The injection is administered intramuscularly.

If large areas of the joints are affected, the dosage may be increased to 2 ml per day. After a full course of treatment, after half a year, you can undergo a second treatment.

Contraindications include:

  • pregnancy;
  • lactation;
  • individual intolerance to the components of the drug;
  • child age of the patient.

3 Dexamethasone. The remedy is prescribed for rheumatic diseases and diseases of the connective tissues. With a mild pain syndrome, the patient is administered one ampoule per day. During an exacerbation of the disease, the doctor individually selects the dosage, which can vary from 4 mg to 20 mg per day. The course of treatment is four days, then the patient is transferred to the tablet form of the drug.

Contraindications:

  • hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
  • diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
  • children's age of the patient (exceptions are made on an individual basis with a decrease in dosage);
  • infectious diseases;
  • endocrine diseases;
  • pregnancy.

4 Diprospan. The drug is widely used for osteochondrosis, osteoarthritis, post-traumatic syndromes. The drug is administered intramuscularly, one ampoule per day. In the period of acute pain, an increase in dosage is possible.

Contraindications for use:

  • stomach ulcer;
  • diabetes;
  • tuberculosis;
  • glaucoma;
  • psychosis.

If drug treatment of back pain and lower back does not give the desired result, you should consult a doctor and undergo an additional examination of the body. If the cause of the disease is not identified, then the treatment will be ineffective.

How to get rid of back pain with an injection.

In medicine, combined treatment is practiced: medicines are combined with physical activity and massage. Constant exercises aimed at stretching the spine will increase its mobility and relieve the feeling of "stiffness". If medical treatment does not help, the only way to get rid of the pain is surgery.

Injections for pain in the back and lower back give a positive effect with the timely start of treatment. Advanced diseases of the spine require long-term treatment, and sometimes surgery.

There are many painkillers, ointments, injections, local compresses, patches. Each of them to a greater or lesser extent has a side effect. A qualified specialist will be able to choose the optimal drug.

Gastrointestinal bleeding;

Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) regulates the metabolic reactions of the nerve cell membrane. Promotes myelin synthesis. With prolonged administration of the drug into the body, regeneration of the sheaths of nerve fibers is observed. Alternative means with a similar action does not exist. Treatment of neuritis caused by back damage with the help of B vitamins was carried out in Soviet times. A lot of facts about the positive effect of therapy on human health have been accumulated about the method.

  1. Most of the pain is based on muscle spasm, which in itself stretches the nerve root and causes a secondary radicular syndrome, therefore, in many cases, muscle relaxants are prescribed as an anesthetic:
  2. Overdose: vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, occurrence of peptic ulcers of the stomach, metabolic acidosis, impaired renal function.
  3. (6 amp. 170 rubles)
  4. Hypersensitivity to the components of the combined vitamins of group B
  5. Mydocalm goes well with milgamma, especially with the so-called "neck" syndrome, when pain occurs in the neck area associated with compression of the nerve roots and deterioration of their blood supply. Symptoms such as dizziness and headache are also associated with neck pathology.
  6. Chondrosis - this is what the people call the symptoms of osteochondrosis. Prolonged and debilitating pain in the neck and lumbar back is most often his fault.
  7. osteoporosis;
  8. Paraventricular blockade (injections are made at special trigger points near the spine);
  9. According to statistics, almost every person (84% of the population) has experienced back pain at least once. At the same time, a third of all people experience back pain periodically throughout their lives. In 75%, the pain syndrome becomes a permanent companion of a person's life.
  10. Nephrotoxicity.

A lot of information has been accumulated in the literature regarding the effect of B vitamins on the mechanism of pain responses. Doctors have formed a proposal that the antinociceptive response is due to the blockade of inflammatory processes. Some scientific works prove the enhancing effect of this group of vitamins on the transmission of serotonin and norepinephrine. There are facts of inhibition of pain stimuli of the thalamus and the posterior horn of the brain.

Pain relief is the first step in treating back pain.

  • Blockades in neurology are called manipulations, the essence of which is as follows. The drug is injected directly into the source of pain. That is, with cervical osteochondrosis, the medicine is injected into the neck, with lumbar - into the lumbar region. This method of introducing a substance is called paravertebral. Sometimes it can be injected directly into the intervertebral disc or epidural canal.
  • Pain in chondrosis depends on the stage of the disease and on the localization of the process. Most often it has a aching, dull character, disturbs the patient even at night. With exacerbation, the pain becomes sharp and often disrupts the normal movements of a person.
  • Tumor processes with metastases to the spine;
  • Adhesiolysis - epidural blockade (the drug is injected directly into the epidural space).
  • Soreness in the back is observed with obesity, gynecological diseases, and may be the first signal of a serious pathology. Treatment of pain syndrome involves making an accurate diagnosis by a neuropathologist, examination by a urologist, gastroenterologist, gynecologist, orthopedist and therapist.
  • For back pain with intervertebral hernia, along with NSAIDs, chondroprotectors (artradol, chondrolone, chondroitin sulfate) are recommended. Tablets improve calcium-phosphorus metabolism, contribute to the restoration of cartilage tissue. The remedy reduces pain, increases the mobility of the damaged spinal segment.

Muscle relaxants

Against the background of a combination of B vitamins and opioid analgesics, the protective properties of non-opioid analgesics in relation to protective complexes are significantly increased. Positive results have been obtained in the treatment of musculoskeletal and experimental neuropathic pain.

pathology of internal organs. Thus, uterine lesions often predetermine back pain among women, and prostate disease - back pain among men;

With blockade, a combination of Novocaine and steroids (Dexamethasone, etc.) is usually used. Substances, enhancing the therapeutic effect of each other, quickly stop the pain. The action of the blockade lasts 2-6 weeks. Paraventricular blocks are especially effective in chronic low back pain. However, there is no evidence that blockades stop back pain that is not associated with radiculopathy.

Painkillers for back and back pain

Causes of back pain:

How to deal with back pain?

There are other injections for back pain, but they are prescribed only by specialists after assessing the patient's health status. With pain syndrome of the lower back, an intervertebral hernia is likely, which provokes the infringement of the nerve fiber. The condition provokes severe pain, which is eliminated by injections, tablets. Combined treatment eliminates the symptoms of the disease for a certain period of time. Therapy must be repeated at regular intervals. Injections are also required for osteochondrosis of the lumbosacral spine of 2-3 degrees.

Baclofen is also a central action, Baclosan.

What injections for back pain are better than others?

Simultaneous use of NSAIDs with acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal painkillers, as well as corticosteroids, calcium preparations, ethanol, can lead to gastrointestinal bleeding and the formation of gastrointestinal ulcers. Simultaneous reception with paracetamol increases the risk of nephrotoxicity.

Pain injections are the only proven treatment for lower back pain. Using other methods of getting rid of pain does not guarantee a 100% result. The appointment of injections is determined by the severity of the pain syndrome and is only the first step in the treatment of the underlying pathology. Only a specialist can individually select an effective and expedient drug, the form of its administration and the duration of use.

With cervical osteochondrosis, this manipulation is combined with the subsequent immobilization of the cervical region with the Shants collar. After a few days, the collar is removed and allowed to turn your head unsharply.

Why the doctor will prescribe injections:

How to remove pain?

It should be noted that back pain can have a different character. It can be acute and chronic, temporary or permanent, localized in one area or diffuse in nature with irradiation to other areas.

Currently, a sufficiently large number of medicines have been developed that can help get rid of discomfort. The most commonly used painkillers are injections for back pain. They are good because they have a fairly high efficiency, and also relieve a person of this unpleasant sensation very quickly. That is why painkillers for back pain are so widely used.

Osteoporosis.

  • Dolobene gel - a combined drug with anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects;
  • Restoring the metabolism of nerve fibers allows you to achieve a long-term therapeutic effect with a remission of more than 3 months.
  • This is a modern drug, which is a concentrate of small marine fish that regulates the metabolism of cartilage tissue. The composition of the bioactive concentrate includes amino acids, potassium, sodium, copper, iron, calcium and zinc ions, as well as mucopolysaccharides, peptides. This tool stimulates the processes of restoration of cartilage tissue, inhibits the destruction of the structures of bone and cartilage tissues, which provides a moderate analgesic effect.
  • Chondroguard

Painkillers, of course, are used only as symptomatic therapy, they help eliminate pain in the joints, back, but do not eliminate the cause of its occurrence, in addition, 50% of patients may experience various side effects. Whatever provoked an exacerbation of osteochondrosis, it is necessary to try to prolong remission. To do this, you need to carefully consider your health. Try not to get cold, do not make sudden movements, do not lift weights, and also allocate 20 minutes every day for exercise. Primarily because they act quickly. And this is an undoubted advantage in exacerbation of chondrosis of the back. Then, during remission, the doctor will prescribe ointments and tablets.

If you experience any pain in the back, you should contact an orthopedist or traumatologist who will help identify the pathology of the spine, its organic or functional changes. It is also necessary to contact a phthisiatrician (who will rule out tuberculous lesions of the spine), as well as a rheumatologist and oncologist, who will rule out, respectively, a rheumatological pathology of the musculoskeletal system or a cancerous process in the body with metastasis to the back.

In addition to injectables, there are also tablet preparations that can help cope with this problem. Often, ointments are used for back pain. They can have both anti-inflammatory and warming effects.

Spondyloarthrosis.

Irritants: apizatron, finalgon, capsicam, analgos - compounds for vasodilation, stimulation of the metabolism of a substance. By improving blood flow to the affected area of the back, the lower back provides a reduction in pain;

Acute back pain is eliminated by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs when combined with combined group B drugs much faster.

  • The drug is prescribed only for adults with osteochondrosis or polyosteoarthrosis, it should be administered intramuscularly deeply 1 ml / day for 20 days. If large joints are affected, then it is possible to administer the drug into the joint once every 3-4 days, 1-2 ml, a course of 5-6 injections.
  • (10 amp. 600 rubles),
  • Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug, heart failure, pregnancy and lactation, severe liver or kidney failure, aspirin bronchial asthma, children under 16-18 years of age, inflammatory bowel disease, exacerbation of gastric ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding. Cerebrovascular diseases, ischemic heart disease, any severe diseases of the cardiovascular system, combined use of antiplatelet agents (clopidogrel, acetylsalicylic acid) prednisolone, impaired liver function, severe somatic diseases.

In more than 50 studies looking for the best pain reliever, researchers have found that no NSAID drug is more effective than other pain relievers, and some of them are very expensive drugs. The only thing to pay attention to when choosing is that some generics (Russian diclofenac, for example) are significantly inferior in effectiveness to original drugs (European Diclofenac).

When there is severe pain in the back, lower back, joints, of course, first of all, it is necessary to determine the cause of its occurrence. If it is a backache from hypothermia, lumbago, or a pinched sciatic nerve, intervertebral hernia, etc., you should definitely be examined by a neurologist, osteopath, and possibly a gynecologist, urologist, gastroenterologist, since back pain can be not only from spasm of muscles and ligaments but also in some diseases of the internal organs. After a thorough diagnosis, the doctor may prescribe, as part of complex therapy, NSAIDs, B vitamins in injections for back pain. The injection form of drug administration acts exactly on the site of pain. This applies to the implementation of blockades of the neck and lumbar back. If the back hurts a lot, injections can quickly eliminate pain, but they should never be used on their own. The appointment of injectable forms of drugs is the competence of the doctor, who must be contacted to establish a clear diagnosis and prescribe the appropriate etiological treatment.

Medicines and injections for cervical and lumbar chondrosis

Currently, various physiotherapy techniques are used to combat back pain. They are good as an additional, and not the main method of treatment. Many still do not trust official medicine and refuse to take medicines and use injectables. Most often they turn to various folk remedies. Some of them really have a certain effectiveness.

Curvature of the spine.

Chondroxide, artrocin - chondroprotectors based on chondroitin sulfate, dimethyl sulfoxide - stop cell destruction, restore cartilage tissue;

Multiple studies have confirmed that milgamma is comparable to diclofenac in terms of the effectiveness of pain relief. Only intramuscular injection allows you to stop the pain syndrome in 2 days.

Choosing painkillers for back pain among non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs is easy due to the extensive list of existing drugs. Each drug has an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic effect with a certain strength.

Chondrolon

  • With caution: gastrointestinal diseases, the presence of Helicobacter pylori infection, edema, fluid retention, diabetes mellitus, long-term use of NSAIDs.
  • Also, these studies were aimed at determining the drug with the least side effects. As a result, Ibuprofen was found to be the least toxic of all NSAIDs.
  • Today, in the treatment of acute pain in the lumbar region, back medicine finds new principles and algorithms than 50 years ago. The main emphasis in the fight against pain is on the elimination of pain with the help of NSAIDs - non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which suppress inflammation and reduce pain, as well as muscle blockades.
  • When injected, the exact dose of the drug enters the bloodstream. It's the one you need. Unlike tablets, the medicine does not pass through the intestines and does not lose part of the active substance there.

When treatment with injections will bring the best effect

The reason to see a doctor should be:

Currently, there are many different drugs available in injectable form and used for back pain. The most commonly used drugs are from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. In addition, medications are often used to relieve muscle spasm. Quite effective for back pain drugs that reduce swelling of the roots of the intervertebral nerves.

Long-term loads of high intensity on the spine and the muscular frame of the back.

Groups of drugs used

Ointments based on bee venom, mummy can not be applied to damaged areas due to irritation and increased inflammatory response;

  1. Milgamma and milgamma compositum are good back pain relievers. Modern doctors are accustomed to classic anti-inflammatory drugs, so vitamins are treated with disdain.

They can not be taken for a long time due to the pronounced side effects on the gastrointestinal tract. WHO (World Health Organization) recommends to stop back pain syndromes in combination, taking into account the symptoms of the disease.

(10 amp. 800-1100 rubles),

Ketorol

Manufacturers of the new Cox-2 inhibitor Celebrex claimed that it had the least side effects, but studies did not find convincing evidence of this fact.

  1. And after the removal of severe spasms, it is recommended to refuse immobilization of the patient, that is, to conduct physiotherapy exercises, massage. Most doctors insist that a person during pain syndromes in the back area does not limit his activity as much as possible.

If a person has digestive problems, certain medications, such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), can make the condition worse. In this case, injections are a great way out.

Increased pain syndrome, when the pain does not allow you to do everyday activities;

  1. It is these injections for pain in the back and lower back that are used more often than others. The most popular among them are the drugs Ketorolac and Diclofenac. These drugs in injectable form are very, very effective. They are administered intramuscularly, usually in the buttock. Relief most often occurs after 15-20 minutes. It is worth noting that such injections for pain in the back and lower back have not only a pronounced anti-inflammatory, but also a significant analgesic effect.

Sciatica, lumbago, sciatica.

Herbal ointments - Comfrey, Artrocin, Sophia, Valentin Dikul, Shungite. They are used to treat osteochondrosis, traumatic injuries of the spine, lower back pain.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are available in injections and tablets. When NSAIDs do not help, novocaine blockades are used.

Acute symptoms in patients with acute back pain are treated with NSAIDs. Their analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic effect is due to inhibition of the enzyme cyclooxeganase types 1 and 2 in peripheral tissues, the brain (non-selective forms). Common members of the group:

  1. Artradol

(10 amp. 130-150 rubles),

Therefore, when choosing a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, it should be remembered that they have almost the same anesthetic property, the same side effects, but different frequency, intensity, severity of side effects, harmful effects, and, not least, different prices. For example, Meloxicam has less effect on the stomach and intestines than aceclofenac (Aertal). Indomethacin gives a pronounced analgesic effect, but destroys cartilage with prolonged use and is now used less and less.

blockades

It has also become popular and effective to prescribe combined vitamin complexes that can have a moderate analgesic effect, these are vitamins B12, B6, and B1. It is believed that vitamin B12 has a more significant analgesic property. Why these vitamins?

Chondrosis of the cervical or lumbar spine is accompanied by severe pain at the time of exacerbation of the disease.

The appearance of weakness and numbness in the limbs;

Such drugs are good because they can be used even without additional medical research. The fact is that in the vast majority of cases, lower back pain is caused by problems with the spine or with the kidneys. Eliminate muscle spasm is necessary in both cases. It is for this reason that antispasmodics are almost universal painkillers for back pain. A hernia of one or another part of the spine is also treated using drugs from this group. The most common drug among them is Spasmoton.

Intervertebral hernia.

Pain-relieving suppositories for back pain with voltaren, papaverine, indomethacin, ketanol act similarly to systemic anti-inflammatory drugs. By reducing the concentration of the drug in the blood, a decrease in side effects on the gastrointestinal tract is achieved.

Moreover, doubling the dose does not reduce the intensity of pain, and in the case when one non-steroidal drug does not help (if it is not a fake), replacing it with another does not make sense. Moreover, based on research, it can also be concluded that they are not much more effective than regular paracetamol. Details about all ointments for back pain can be found in our article.

Recently, these drugs have been considered in medicine as moderate analgesics, since they are neurotropic - they normalize muscle innervation, participate in the transmission of excitation, in the metabolism of mediators, affect metabolism, processes in the nervous system, and help restore damaged nerves.

In addition, pain may be accompanied by symptoms such as dizziness, especially with cervical osteochondrosis, or a feeling of “goosebumps” running across the skin - paresthesia. There are medicines in injections that can cope with this.

The appearance of a tingling sensation in the arms or legs;

"Spasmoton" is able to reduce the swelling of the roots of the intervertebral discs. As a result, their infringement is relieved. Often this drug helps to cope with back pain with just a few injections. Unfortunately, in comparison with other drugs, the purchase of this drug will require quite a lot of money.

Pathology of internal organs.

Diclofenac rectal suppositories for low back pain are used in patients with bowel disease when systemic analogues cannot be used. It should be remembered that candles do not have a strong effect. With a strong infringement of the spinal nerve between the vertebrae and in the muscle, intense nerve impulses develop. To relieve pain, some patients require novocaine blockade. Candles in such a situation will not help.

When your back or joints hurt, injections of B vitamins should help

The patient is placed on the stomach. By palpation, the area of \u200b\u200badministration of the substance is determined. An injection is made into it. Then the muscle fibers are massaged. After the procedure, a hot compress is applied to the back. After removing the bandage, the person should carry out active physical movements.

Milgamma

Aceclofenac;

Chondroitin sulfate - this drug belongs to anti-inflammatory drugs, which is prescribed for the treatment of diseases of the joints and spine. It slows down the resorption of bone tissue, improves calcium-phosphorus metabolism in cartilage tissues, stops the destruction of connective and cartilage tissue, and accelerates recovery processes. Reduces pain and increases mobility of the spine and joints. It has a structural similarity with heparin, therefore it prevents the formation of blood clots in the subchondral and synovial bed.

  • In chronic pain, before prescribing an anesthetic, the doctor determines the causes and nature of chronic pain - referred, neuropathic or central, and prescribes the appropriate treatment.
  • Over 90 different studies have proven that the use of B vitamins in clinical practice led to a significant reduction in pain in the acute phases of inflammation in complex treatment. Therefore, they can be used both individually and in the form of complex preparations of B vitamins.
  • However, it must be remembered that pain relief is only a symptomatic treatment, it does not relieve the disease itself.

Urinary incontinence.

Almost the favorite painkillers injections for back pain in the CIS are a mixture of medicines "Analgin", "Dimedrol" and "Papaverine". The name of such a drug, familiar to both patients and doctors, is “troychatka”. It is applied very widely. Many people choose it, and not specialized painkillers for back pain. Triple injections are carried out intramuscularly. The effect occurs in about 20-30 minutes. In addition, the patient may experience drowsiness due to the presence of Diphenhydramine in the mixture. The fact is that it has a good sedative effect.

  • Psychogenic etiology (stress, depression).
  • In conclusion, we will describe other groups of drugs that are used for pain in the back, lower back. Steroid analogs have a strong anti-inflammatory effect. Means are introduced into the epidural space between the spinal canal and the spinal cord. Local intramuscular injections of steroid hormones (prednisolone, hydrocortisone, diprospan) are used to anesthetize the lumbosacral region.
  • Points of novocaine blockade:
  • Diclofenac.
Neurobion

When the back hurts a lot, the doctor may prescribe anti-inflammatory, painkillers in tablets, it was previously believed that oral administration slows down the onset of action, reduces effectiveness and leads to more severe side effects from the gastrointestinal tract. To date, it is believed that intramuscular administration and oral administration give the same bioavailability of the drug. Side effects from the gastrointestinal tract are realized through the suppression of the arachidonic acid system, that is, not through direct contact with the mucosa, but after absorption into the blood. Therefore, the side effects are almost the same when taken orally and when injected.

Ketorolac

Trigamma

If the pain is acute, then the doctor determines the risk of side effects on the gastrointestinal tract, cardiovascular complications, if the risks are not high, and:

The composition of most complex preparations of this group contains the anesthetic lidocaine, which enhances the local analgesic effect. However, it should be remembered that the use of this group of vitamins makes sense only for acute pain in the back, joints, alcoholic polyneuropathy, B12 myasthenia gravis for 10-14 days, and in chronic recurrent diseases they already become ineffective.

Efficacy, contraindications and side effects of NSAIDs

Drugs are divided into several groups:

It is worth noting that injections in the back not only treat pain, but also eliminate the inflammatory process, since in most cases they contain both analgesic and anti-inflammatory components.

Anti-inflammatory injections for back pain are quite effective. Unfortunately, they have severe side effects. First of all, we are talking about the harmful effects on the gastric mucosa. In the event that the use of anti-inflammatory drugs causes a similar side effect, it is better to use less powerful injections for back pain. First of all, it is necessary to transfer the patient to antispasmodic drugs. Another option may be the additional intake of drugs that protect the gastric mucosa. Most often, the drug "Omeprazole" is used for these purposes.

Important! Only a specialist, having identified the true cause of pain, can prescribe appropriate medical therapy, including pain relief.

American scientists have developed schemes for the introduction of steroids into the seals of the gluteal muscle, followed by massage and warming compresses. The approach allows you to neutralize muscle spasm, which can cause piriformis syndrome. In pathology, the sciatic nerve is infringed, leading to severe pain in the lower back, lower extremities.

Sciatic nerve - at the greater trochanter;

Choice of painkillers

Selective tablets selectively inhibit cyclooxygenase-2, which prevents the side effect of non-selective analogues - a violation of mucus secretion by the intestinal wall. After the creation of this category, doctors counted on a breakthrough in the treatment of pain in the spine, joints, and lower back. Severe complications from the gastrointestinal tract did not allow long-term prescribing of the drug.

Celebrex (active ingredient celecoxib 10 pcs. 400-420 rubles)

  • (10 amp 70-90 rubles)
  • There is no dyspepsia - then any NSAID

In cases where painkillers do not help, specialists can offer the patient a method of injection and stretching. It consists in the following: after the patient lies on his stomach, the most painful seals or points where the pain is most intense are found in the muscles, and an injection with a novocaine solution is made exactly perpendicular.

Medicines that relieve pain and inflammation, so-called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Let's consider them in more detail.

It is worth noting again that

Antispasmodic drugs are good because they have practically no side effects. Unfortunately, they are far from the strongest painkillers for back pain. Currently, the most rational is the joint use of drugs "Spasmoton" and "Ketorolac". The fact is that separately this antispasmodic and a weak non-steroidal anti-inflammatory substance have an insufficient effect. Together they usually give a very good result.

An overview of painkillers in injections

The first aid and the initial stage of the treatment of pain syndrome is anesthesia. The drugs are used in the form of tablets, ointments and injections. The choice of the form of drug administration is determined by the intensity of pain. The maximum result is achieved with the simultaneous use of various forms of drugs. Increasing the dose of the drug only enhances the manifestation of side effects.

Meloxicam

From modern developments, biostimulants are recommended for pain in the lower back and back. The drugs are characterized by an anti-inflammatory effect - placenta extract, gumizol, aloe extract. As a result, they cannot be prescribed for long periods. There are no clinical studies showing a good analgesic effect of drugs. Arcoxia (active ingredient etoricoxib 7 pcs. 520-600 rubles) age of the patient, intensity of pain. Up to 65 years, a single dose of 10-30 mg is prescribed. IM every 4-6 hours. Persons with impaired renal function or older than 65 years at a dose of 10-15 mg / m once, or every 4-6 hours. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 60-90 mg. and the duration of therapy is not more than 5 days. There is dyspepsia - better ibuprofen (or diclofenac, naproxen), nimesulide (or miloxicam)

Immediately after the injection, passive stretching of the muscle is performed, after which a hot compress is placed on this place. Then, when the compress is removed, the patient must make active movements, exposing the painful muscle to the maximum movement.

Ketoprofen

Representatives of the NSAID group are ketorolac, ketorol, diclofen, voltaren. It is strictly forbidden to use injections in the back on your own. First of all, you should visit a doctor if a person has severe pain in the back. If the discomfort does not interfere with the performance of labor and domestic duties, then you can wait. Pain that lasts for 3-4 hours, even if it is not expressed, is the reason for contacting a specialist. If we are talking about the lumbar spine, then the specialist will try to make a differential diagnosis between vertebrogenic lumbalgia and pyelonephritis. Most often, antispasmodics are prescribed immediately, but painkillers for back pain are used only when it has already been established that the cause of the disease lies in problems with the spine. An intense pain syndrome requires the appointment of injection forms. For the relief of acute pain, injections are prescribed for the first 3-7 days, with a further transition to oral medications. The following groups of drugs are used: We draw the attention of readers to symptomatic treatment: Vertebral - in the place of localization of the hernial protrusion. Back pain is caused by irreversible conditions (osteochondrosis, spondylosis, intervertebral hernia). Treatment of nosology is long, and NSAIDs are prescribed for a maximum period of 10-14 days, then a break. Texamen (active ingredient tenoxicam 10 pcs. 200-250 rubles)

Diclofenac

If the risk of cardiovascular complications is high, then NSAIDs should be avoided, and paracetamol, opioids should be used. At moderate risk, nimesulide may be prescribed, subject to adequate correction of blood pressure (amlodipine, see drugs to reduce pressure).

Ketorolac

The purpose of novocaine blockade is to “turn off” the nerve. Therefore, the injection points should be as close as possible to the exit points of the nerves, for example, the sciatic - at the greater trochanter of the thigh, with intercostal neuralgia - in the corresponding intercostal space, with osteochondrosis - at the outer edge of the back extensor, etc. It is also advisable to carry out epidural blockades in chronic pain syndrome, for example. with herniated discs. Ketorolac, Ketorol have a strong analgesic effect and, to a lesser extent, anti-inflammatory. Most often used in the treatment of chondrosis of the lumbar, since the injection technique has its own specific features and contraindications. You may experience side effects or allergic reactions to a number of drugs, and if administered incorrectly, pain may increase or pathological muscle spasm may occur with impaired sensitivity and function of the back and lower extremities due to nerve damage. what painkillers injections for back pain to use, is a neurologist. This specialist has a fairly extensive knowledge of the structure of the nervous system in general and the spinal cord in particular. In addition to injections, he will most likely advise tablet preparations, as well as several physiotherapeutic methods. Exclusively eliminate pain without affecting the cause of its occurrence. Injections of Analgin, Baralgin are prescribed. These medicines are not highly effective and are used for unexpressed pain or in a situation where there are no other means of pain relief.

Painkillers for back pain:

diclofenac

Clinical studies have shown that taking tablets and intramuscular administration of an anesthetic drug is characterized by approximately the same bioavailability of the drug. The negative effect on the gastrointestinal tract is not due to the direct effect of the active ingredient on the intestinal mucosa, but to the blockade of the metabolism of arachidonic acid after absorption of the drug into the blood. (5 amp. 40 rubles) If there is a high risk of gastrointestinal bleeding - NSAIDs + proton pump inhibitors (omeprazole) are required. It is understood that taking NSAIDs is in itself a sufficient risk even with a single dose, therefore, according to the standard, all NSAIDs are taken in combination with proton pump blockers, regardless of the risks of gastroduodenal bleeding. Below is a list of drugs prescribed by the attending physician according to indications. Only a doctor determines the advisability of using B vitamins, NSAIDs, muscle relaxants, and chondoprotectors. The information below is for information only, the course of treatment and dosage is determined by a specialist. However, people suffering from chronic gastritis should be careful with these drugs, as they can provoke its exacerbation. I must say that the most effective method of eliminating back pain - implementation of blockades. This procedure is not only a medical technique, but can also be carried out for diagnostic purposes. So, if pain decreases during anesthesia of individual anatomical structures, then this indicates that they are the source of pain. In addition to a neuropathologist, therapists and general practitioners are able to solve the problem with back pain. They can also prescribe good shots for back and lower back pain.

A group of drugs widely used in pain syndrome. NSAIDs are not only able to relieve pain, but also have anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous effects. They are used for hernia, sciatica and other conditions accompanied by compression by inflamed nerve tissues. The main disadvantage of NSAIDs is the high likelihood of undesirable consequences from the internal organs. The name of medicines with one active substance varies depending on the manufacturer. Chondroitin sulfate

First of all, you need to inform your doctor about this. It is important to describe the severity of pain before and after the course of treatment. In the event that the injections did not at all reduce the pain, it would be rational to replace them with other drugs. Most often, this step helps. In the event that new medicines have also proved to be ineffective, it is advisable to undergo an x-ray examination of the area of the back where the pain is most pronounced. Often such a diagnosis does not give any results. In this case, it is recommended to undergo a more serious examination. We are talking about computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging. These methods allow visualization of both bone structures and soft tissues. After such an examination, in the vast majority of cases, it is possible to establish an accurate diagnosis and prescribe a rational course of treatment. Preparations with the active substance Ibuprofen (less than others cause side effects); First aid for reducing pain (nemesil, ketanol, ketanov); The above drugs are indicated for ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis. If within 5-7 days the pain subsides, then continue treatment until it is completely relieved. If acute pain does not subside within a week, then muscle relaxants, local anesthetics are prescribed. Local administration of corticosteroids is possible with the exclusion of the diagnosis - tuberculosis of the joints or spine. With very severe pain and no effect from painkillers, the infectious nature of the pain should be excluded (tuberculous pathology - consultation and examination in a tuberculosis dispensary), joint pain with gonorrhea, syphilis or other infection.

Mom tried to be treated only with decoctions from the root of the sunflower, which, of course, did not help. And when the pain became unbearable, she borrowed from a neighbor and bought painkillers at the pharmacy. When a neighbor told me about this, at first I got a little angry with my mother - I took time off from work and immediately came to her by taxi. The next day, I made an appointment with my mother for a rheumatologist at a paid clinic, despite her requests not to spend money. The doctor diagnosed - arthritis and osteochondrosis. He prescribed treatment, but my mother immediately protested that it was too expensive. Then the doctor stepped into the position and offered an alternative option - home exercise and a plant-based drug. It came out cheaper than injections with chondroprotectors and did not even cause possible side effects. She began to use the drug and engage in physical therapy. When I stopped by her a couple of days later, I found her in the garden. She was tying up the tomatoes, and, apparently, she had already managed to do a lot. She greeted me with a smile. The patient is placed on his stomach, the doctor finds the damaged points and injects novocaine there. This is followed by gentle passive stretching of the muscles and the application of a hot compress. After that, active actions are needed to increase blood circulation in the muscles. Also, epidural blockades are very effective for intervertebral hernias.

Real Patient Testimonials

Victoria, 42 years old

In the last year, I found a replacement for expensive Movalis with our domestic drug - Artrozan. It is almost 3 times cheaper! Both drugs are famously anesthetize and have almost no effect on the microflora of the stomach. Therefore, for me, this is a chic remedy for back and joint pain.

Maxim, 49 years old

With an exacerbation of osteochondrosis, I do this:

  • Three days in a row I put on an injection per day with Artrozan;
  • For five days I put 1 injection a day with Mydocalm. It relaxes the muscles well;
  • Then for 5 days I also put Kombilipen 1 injection a day.

Pain subsides with this method for a long time.

Maria, 39 years old

I have osteochondrosis. My neurologist prescribed Combilipen for me. This drug contains B vitamins. It is also very safe. I also took Movalis for 3 days, and then pricked Mydocalm and Kombilipen for 5 days. And for 5 more days I took these 2 drugs in tablets. Such a scheme for a long time relieves attacks of osteochondrosis.

Natalia, 41 years old

Mydocalm helped me with numbness and muscle spasms. I took one tablet 3 times a day. The dosage is small, but the spasms and numbness went away very quickly, in just a couple of weeks, although the doctor spoke about a month of treatment. There were no side effects such as drowsiness and discomfort when taking medications. I highly recommend Mydocalm. This is a good remedy for those who give up.

Video: Injections for back pain

To completely get rid of back pain, you need complex treatment (manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise therapy, etc.). Your doctor must prescribe a course of treatment for you. It is strongly not recommended to inject injections at home, as there may be the opposite effect.

Findings and Conclusions

What are our Russian doctors silent about? Why in 90% of cases, drug treatment gives only a temporary effect?

Unfortunately, most of the drugs that "treat" diseases of the back and joints, which are advertised on TV and sold in pharmacies, are a complete divorce.

At first it may seem that creams and ointments help, BUT in fact they only TEMPORARILY relieve the symptoms of the disease.

In simple words, you buy a regular painkiller, and the disease continues to develop, turning into more severe stage. Ordinary pain can be a symptom of more serious diseases:

  • dystrophy of muscle tissue in the buttocks, thighs and lower legs;
  • pinching of the sciatic nerve;
  • the development of arthritis, arthrosis and related diseases;
  • acute and sharp pain - backache that leads to chronic sciatica;
  • cauda equina syndrome, which leads to paralysis of the legs;
  • impotence and infertility.

How to be?- you ask. We have studied a huge amount of materials and, most importantly, tested in practice most of the remedies for the treatment of diseases of the spine and joints. So, it turned out that the only new tool which does not remove the symptoms, but really heals - this is a medicine that is not sold in pharmacies and is not advertised on TV! So that you do not think that you are being sucked in yet another "miracle remedy", we will not tell you what an effective drug it is. Back pain can occur for many different reasons, but the main ones are degenerative type disorders that occur in the spine. If we list only the main diseases that are on everyone's lips, since the majority of patients complaining of back pain suffer from them in percentage terms, their list will take more than one line. All diseases associated with the occurrence of pain in the back differ from each other not only in etiology, but also in the drugs (and their forms) used in therapy. In some cases, tablet preparations are indicated, in others, external ointments and applicators work most effectively, and in still others, only injectable forms can help.

If the doctor prescribes treatment in the form of injections, there are certainly reasons for this, and there are many of them. There are different types of injections. In addition to the usual intramuscular and intravenous injections, injections can be made directly into the spinal body or tissue near it. Depending on the injection site, such injections have different names, united by the general concept of "blockade".

What are the reasons for the doctor to prefer injections to all other dosage forms? The fact is that almost all diseases of the spine, like diseases of other organs, have two forms - acute and chronic. When the disease is in remission, the patient may not require treatment and even refuse it, since the pain syndrome - the main indicator that something is wrong in the body - is absent. But as soon as an exacerbation begins, and here, depending on the stage and neglect of the disease, the pain will be felt on a scale from “strong” to “unbearable”. Moreover, not in all cases of back pain can be removed with tablet preparations, since they do not begin to act immediately.

By the way, which the patient has taken, even containing the strongest anabolics, must go a long way through the esophagus to the stomach. There, the medicine will dissolve, be absorbed into the gastric walls, from there it will enter the bloodstream and be transported to the pain center, suppressing it.

Firstly, even if the entire path to the pain center is done as quickly as possible, the honor of the active substance will be lost along the way, and the effect will not be one hundred percent.

Secondly, passing through the systems and internal organs, the tablet will interact with their cellular tissue, for example, destroy the gastric mucosa, and have other side effects.

As for the topical preparations of creamy structures, they are good for "lumbago" or when "prokvozilo", acting locally and fairly quickly. But their action cannot be strong, and is based, in most cases, on a warming or cooling effect and the removal of external puffiness.

Topical preparations have a warming or cooling effect, help relieve tissue swelling

The pain cannot be tolerated. We are talking about severe and intense pain that the patient should not endure. It is necessary to get rid of the syndrome as soon as possible.

Important! When it comes, and the patient loses motor abilities, the relief of pain will avoid shock and convulsions, epilepsy, as well as a detrimental effect on the psyche.

When tablet and other forms, applied progressively, do not give the expected effect, injections are needed. And sometimes they resort to injections immediately, without waiting for the effect of other forms.

What injections are used for back pain

As already noted, there are several types of injections. Basically, for the relief of back pain of various etiologies, the following are used:

  • intramuscular;
  • intravenous;
  • paravertebral;
  • epidural.

All of them have a number of qualities that are not characteristic of other dosage forms.

  1. They have the fastest possible effect, which occurs after a minimum time period.
  2. The drug is delivered almost without loss to the place of pain (and right-sided and epidural injections - generally directly).
  3. They do not have harmful side effects.
  4. They have a high speed of action, since the medicinal substance is immediately in the blood or near the nerve endings.
  5. It is possible to accurately calculate the dosage.

In case of back diseases, the type of injection is selected depending on the disease, the medications used, the degree of the disease and the patient's condition.

Table. Types of injections for back pain and their characteristics.

Type of injectionCharacteristics

Can be done on your own or with the help of loved ones. Used for drug therapy. Analgesics, non-steroids, steroids and antispasmodics are administered intramuscularly.

Most often, a dropper is placed, but drugs can also be injected into a vein. It is used to relieve a pain attack of moderate severity. Groups of drugs intravenously can be administered the same as intramuscularly.

The method of installing a dropper is used if it is impossible to make an injection. The treatment drug goes directly into the bloodstream and quickly reaches the pain focus, relieving the syndrome.

Relieve severe pain. They can be installed with non-steroids, antispasmodics and hormonal drugs, but the composition must contain one of the three strongest anesthetic anesthetics - either Novocaine, or Lidocaine, or Trimecaine.

Important! You can only make an intramuscular injection on your own. Intravenous administration is carried out by medical personnel. Epidural and paravertebral administration requires not only the qualification of a specialist, but also the presence of the patient in clinical sterile conditions.

The most effective type of injections for back pain are epidural and paravertebral, that is, a blockade injection. It is done directly and pointwise to the affected area, the substance is delivered in a matter of minutes to the nerve roots, blocks the impulse emanating from them and stops the pain.

Table. Groups of drugs for injections for back pain.

GroupDrugs and their action
AnalgesicsThis group includes many drugs, the most popular of which are: "Butadion", "Piramein", "Analgin", "Tramadol", "Baralgin", "Piraminal", "Ketorol".

Injections with these drugs have a mono-action - they eliminate the pain syndrome. At the same time, to stop the degenerative process, which serves as a source of pain, it is necessary to additionally use drugs from other groups. Injections with analgesics are effective for pain of moderate intensity.
NonsteroidsThis group includes even more drugs than analgesics. What to use - the doctor decides, in accordance with many circumstances and taking into account the full diagnostic data.
Basically, for back pain, injections are used: Diclofenac, Ortofen, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Nimesulide, Voltaren.

The drugs of the group have a multi-action, simultaneously relieving swelling, relieving pain, relieving inflammation, removing nerve spasm and toning the tissues.
GlucocorticosteroidsThese are hormonal drugs, from the group of which, with severe back pain, they are used by injection: Betamethasone, Diprospan, Prednisolone, Flosteron, Hydrocortisone.
Application occurs when nonsteroidal drugs do not show the expected effectiveness. Hormones have multiple side effects, so they are used with caution and not for a long time.
However, even a short course of steroid injections can relieve the patient of back pain and almost all of its accompanying symptoms.

Antispasmodics and muscle relaxantsThey are used for pain in the upper back, mainly in the cervicothoracic area. It can be administered both intramuscularly and into a vein. Medicines relax spasms of smooth muscles well, but they have a more pronounced effect when back pain has an internal etiology, that is, it is associated with internal organs. The group includes: Mydocalm, Tolperison, Neuromidin.

ChondroprotectorsThe group accelerates the metabolic processes that occur in the intervertebral discs, due to which cartilage tissue is restored faster. The drugs include: "Chondroitin", "Alflutop", "Chondroxide", "Adgelon".

By the way. Vitamin preparations, in particular, group B, can also be used in injectable form for back pain. Injections of diuretics Furosemide and Lasix are also used.

Blockade

What is a blockade for back pain, and how it is carried out, is worth mentioning separately. Blockade injections are made epidurally or paravertebral, that is, they are injected directly into the spine or its range.

By the way. A paravertebral type of blockade is when a drug is injected by injection in close proximity to the spine. Epidural view, when the injection is made into the epidural space.

An indication for blockade may be a pain syndrome that lasts a long time period, does not decrease from other medications or increases. The manipulation is so effective that the pain after the injection disappears after one to two minutes. The medicinal substance is 100% delivered to the pain focus. This not only relieves pain momentarily, but allows you to achieve a prolonged effect.

By the way. In addition to relieving pain, it has other effects, since the composition includes, in addition to anesthetics, drugs of other groups. Thus, puffiness, spasm is removed, inflammation is stopped and the speed of blood flow is restored.

There are several contraindications to the blockade, for example, they include paravertebral foci of purulent infections, severe mechanical deformation of the vertebrae, or an allergy to anesthetics. But in general, the blockade injection method is recognized as the most effective for relieving pain.

Important! Unlike an intramuscular injection, a blockade cannot be carried out if the person is not a specialist - a surgeon or an anesthesiologist. Even a nurse who can handle an injection into a vein will not be allowed to have an epidural and paravertebral injection. In addition, the blockade is carried out only in clinics, in rooms of increased sterility.

The pain syndrome is removed quickly, but the effect does not last long, so blockade injections are used in courses in order to save the patient from severe pain while their cause is being treated.

Injections and self-medication

Self-medication (as well as self-diagnosis) of back problems with pain in this area is a thankless and dangerous occupation. It is especially dangerous to prescribe painkillers or other injections to yourself. Yes, Novocain can be bought at a pharmacy without a prescription, but this does not mean that you need to inject it yourself.

"Novocain" is often used for blockades

When complaining of back pain, the doctor to whom the patient will turn is likely to prescribe conservative treatment, which will necessarily be combinatorial.

  1. First, the patient's back must be anesthetized, because, as already noted, severe pain cannot be tolerated for a long time. Moreover, the pain syndrome can be felt so strongly that it cannot be removed with standard anabolics. In this situation, the doctor may recommend a blockade.
  2. After getting rid of pain or at least reducing it, the process of removing inflammation begins.
  3. Anti-edematous therapy is also carried out, relaxing spasms, resolving stagnation and accelerating the flow of blood.
  4. Vitamin support will be provided in parallel.

And always, along with injections, for any diseases that cause back pain, and especially diseases of the spine, the doctor will prescribe auxiliary measures and remedies in parallel. These can be local preparations such as ointments, even folk remedies, in the form of applications or compresses, but they must be prescribed by a doctor.
