  • flour - 3 cups;
  • sugar - 4 tbsp. (sweet option);
  • vegetable oil for frying;
  • sodium bicarbonate - 0.5 tsp;
  • egg - 1 pc.;

  1. Break the egg and sour cream into a container and mix them until smooth. It is better to use a mixer for this.
  2. Beat the ingredients until smooth. Then, add 2 tbsp. spoons of sugar and heated butter, continue to beat.
  3. In another container you need to mix flour, salt and soda.
  4. Beat the flour into a container with sour cream and egg, knead the dough with a spoon. It is advisable to add flour in parts to avoid lumps.
  5. If necessary, you can add flour. The consistency of the dough should be thick.
  6. After mixing all the ingredients, place the finished dough on a floured table, knead a little with your hands, and leave for a quarter of an hour.
  7. We begin to roll out a layer of dough 1-1.5 cm thick. To prevent the dough from sticking to the surface of the table, you need to generously sprinkle the countertop with flour.
  8. Using a glass, squeeze out the cakes.
  9. Donuts with sour cream can be fried in a dry frying pan with a non-stick surface without oil. While they are cooking on one side, cover the pan with a lid. When the dough is sufficiently fried, turn it over, but do not cover the pan, but only let the products dry on the top side.

Baking according to grandma's recipe

Ingredients can be found in your own kitchen:

  • 1 tbsp. sour cream 20% fat;
  • 400 g of sifted flour for crumpets and 80 g of flour for dusting;
  • 1 egg;
  • 100 g sugar;
  • ¼ teaspoon of quicklime soda;

  • vanilla to taste;
  • refined oil.

Grandma’s recipe for crumpets is very easy - mix all the ingredients step by step in the following order:

  1. In one container, combine sour cream, eggs, vanilla, sugar.
  2. Gradually add flour and stir with a spoon until the dough begins to thicken. When it thickens, place it on the table with flour. Do not knead very dense dough, the products will not turn out soft.
  3. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, the thickness should be about 1 cm. You should be careful not to overdo it with flour, there should be just a little bit so that it does not stick to the table or rolling pin.
  4. Using a glass or a special mold, we make donuts.
  5. Pour oil into the frying pan, about 1.5-2 cm, do not heat it too much. Before placing the products, you need to shake off the remaining flour from them so that it does not burn. Fry until golden on both sides.
  6. It is advisable to place the donuts on paper towels - this will remove excess oiliness.

Cooking with sugar

For the test you need to take the following products:

  • 1 tbsp. milk/yogurt;
  • 1 egg;
  • 1 tsp. dry yeast;
  • 1 tsp. salt;
  • 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sugar;
  • 2 tbsp. l. refined oil;
  • 3 cups flour.

To prepare the glaze you will need the following ingredients:

  • 100 g sour cream 15% fat;
  • 50 g sugar.

Mix in the following order:

  1. Heat milk or curdled milk to 37 degrees, add yeast.
  2. Then add salt and sugar, beat in the egg and add a little flour, knead the dough with a spoon.
  3. You can tell that the dough has formed by its consistency; it should not spread. Now you need to cover the dough with a towel and leave in a warm place for about one hour for the yeast to ferment. If the dough rests long enough, the crumpets will grow in volume and you will get a delicate taste.
  4. Let's start dividing the dough into about twelve even pieces. To prevent it from sticking to your hands, it is better to lubricate them with sunflower oil. Place the semi-finished product on a greased table surface or board.
  5. After dividing the dough, you can start rolling out; the thickness of the crumpets should be up to 1 cm.
  6. Fry in hot oil in a frying pan on both sides until golden brown.
  7. The best way to serve the crumpets is hot with sour cream, sprinkled with plenty of sugar - this will create a sweet glaze.

Homemade crumpets with sour cream in the oven

  • 300 g wheat flour;
  • 200 g low-fat cottage cheese;
  • 4 tbsp. spoons of fat sour cream;
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of semolina;
  • 1 egg;
  • 2 tbsp. spoons of refined sunflower oil;
  • 4 tbsp. spoons of sugar;
  • 1/5 teaspoon of soda;
  • 2-3 g salt.

To prepare airy crumpets in the oven, you need to mix all the ingredients in the correct order:

  1. In a container, mix the egg with salt and sugar.
  2. Add sour cream.
  3. Alternately add and mix soda and semolina - this will add softness and volume to the donuts during baking. You need to make sure that there are no lumps of semolina left in the dough.
  4. Before adding cottage cheese to the dough, you need to grind it through a sieve - this will make it airy and homogeneous.
  5. Add sunflower oil and stir.

  6. They should be fried in a frying pan in a large amount of vegetable oil; the crumpets cook very quickly. Then they should be placed on a plate and sprinkled with powdered sugar on top.

Donuts in a frying pan with filling


Compound:

  • Kefir (3.2 percent) - 250 g
  • Sugar - 1 tsp.
  • Salt - 0.5 tsp.
  • Soda - 0.5 tsp.
  • Hard cheese - 250 g
  • Boiled sausage - 100 g
  • Flour - 300 g
  • Vegetable oil - 4 tbsp.

Preparation:

  1. Quench the baking soda in kefir at room temperature and leave for 10 minutes. Then add salt and sugar.

Ingredients:

  • wheat flour - approximately 480-500 g;
  • filtered water – 550 ml;
  • salt – 15 g;
  • granulated sugar – 25 g;
  • baking soda – 12 g;
  • vegetable oil for frying.

Preparation

Pour salt and half a teaspoon of baking soda into filtered water, stir until the crystals dissolve and add the sifted flour and mix again. The initial consistency of the dough should be like pancakes. Now crush another half teaspoon of soda over the surface of the dough and mix it well. This simple nuance will give the finished crumpets some airiness. Next, add more flour and knead into a soft pliable dough. Dissolve granulated sugar, salt and yeast in water heated to a pleasant warmth and let it stand for fifteen minutes in a warm place. During this time, the yeast will begin its work and the mass will foam.

Then add a glass of sifted flour, mix and add melted butter. Add the rest of the flour in small portions and make a soft dough. Knead it for ten minutes, cover with a towel and place in a warm place.
