I love pasta - it's delicious and easy to prepare. I usually buy spaghetti, fusilli or shells, sometimes I can buy lasagna sheets. And this time I decided to try large stuffing pasta. I didn’t buy too expensive ones, I bought budget horns "Fillini".


The packaging is a regular transparent bag with a simple picture. The composition and method of preparation are indicated on the back. Pasta is a short and thick ribbed tube, bent in such a way that it resembles the shape of a snail. Size of one cone (dry) about 3 cm. After cooking they increase by 1.5-2 cm.

Due to their rather large size, such pasta is excellent for stuffing and further baking, and thanks to its shape, it is convenient to fill it with filling using a teaspoon. For proper cooking For 100 g of dry pasta you need to take a liter of water and 10 g of salt. There is no need to cook until done; the pasta will “cook” in the oven while baking. Boiled horns have an appetizing appearance, pleasant smell and taste.


By the way, I found information on the Internet that this type (meaning shape) of paste is called "lucamoni". In addition, I dug up a fairly simple recipe for stuffed pasta, which I slightly modified to suit my needs (the original recipe uses zucchini instead of carrots). Here he is:

1. Chop the onion, grate the carrots, cut the tomatoes into cubes, and finely chop the greens.


2. Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil in a frying pan.


3. Add the minced meat, season with spices (I used a ready-made mixture of spices for meat from a bag), fry for about 20 minutes.


4. Add tomatoes. Cook for another 5-7 minutes. Add greens, stir and remove from heat.


5. Place the horns in boiling salted water and cook for 2-3 minutes until half cooked. Drain in a colander.


6. Fill the pasta with the cooled filling. Place in a greased baking dish (mine is thick glass). Pour cream on top.

Such common dishes as pasta with meat, naval pasta, quickly become boring, and this will not surprise anyone. If in Italy they eat pasta just like that, then in our country pasta is just a side dish and it is necessary to have something meat with the side dish.   3. Fill the finished, cooled shells with the prepared minced meat and place in a baking dish or deep baking sheet.
  4. Sauce taste: tomato, bechamel or other. You can cook it yourself, or you can buy it.
  5. Pour in the sauce and bake in a well-heated oven at 180 degrees. within 20–25 minutes.


Cannelloni with meat and Bechamel sauce

Ingredients

  • Cannelloni - 250 Grams
  • Minced beef - 500 grams
  • Tomatoes - 300 Grams
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Hard cheese - 150 grams
  • Olive oil - To taste
  • Butter - 30 grams
  • Milk - 600 Milliliters
  • Flour - 2 tbsp. spoons
  • Salt and pepper - To taste

Cooking method

Chop the onion and quickly fry it in olive oil in a frying pan or saucepan. Add minced meat, finely chopped tomatoes and garlic. Simmer until done, adding all the necessary spices. Fill the cannelloni with the cooled minced meat and place the pasta in a baking dish. Let's prepare the Bechamel sauce. To do this, first melt the butter in a saucepan. Add flour and mix thoroughly until smooth. Lightly fry the flour until it turns brown. While stirring, pour in milk in a thin stream. Boil everything for 1–2 minutes and remove the sauce from the heat. Add some salt and pepper. Pour the prepared cannelloni sauce over it. Bake the dish in the oven for half an hour at 180 degrees. 5 minutes before cooking, sprinkle the cannelloni with grated cheese.

  • Pasta – 250 gr.
  • Chicken fillet – 400 gr.
  • Butter – 40 gr.
  • Olive oil – 15 gr.
  • Cream, heavy - 2 cups.
  • Hard cheese – 50 gr.
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Cream cheese – 300 gr.
  • Curd cheese – 100 gr.
  • Nutmeg, oregano, basil, salt - a pinch each.
  • Garlic – 2-3 cloves.
  • Wine or table vinegar - 100 ml.
  • Olive oil – ½ cup.

Cooking method

  1. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and marinate for half an hour - an hour. The marinade is simple to make: mix all the ingredients – vinegar, oil and garlic. Cook the pasta, grate the cheese.
  2. Fry the marinated chicken in olive oil for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Make the sauce: melt the butter in a separate bowl, pour in the cream and spices and let it boil. Throw the cheese into the sauce and wait until it melts (over low heat). Set aside.
  4. Also, separately, mix the curd cheese, spices and egg, and then add the fried chicken pieces there - this will be the filling for the pasta.
  5. Stuff the pasta with the filling and place on a baking sheet, greasing it with oil. Pour in the creamy sauce and bake in the oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • Tubes – 15 pcs.
  • Mushrooms - champignons – 250 gr.
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Hard cheese – 120 gr.
  • Oil – 15 gr.
  • Dill, salt and pepper.

Cooking method

  1. Chop the onion, chop the mushrooms and dill, grate the cheese. Weld the tubes.
  2. In half the oil, fry the mushrooms and onions (start with the onions). When the mushrooms are almost cooked, add salt, dill and pepper.

  • 1 large onion (150 grams)

  7. Add half a glass of cold tap water to the minced meat and mix well. We fill the tubes with prepared minced meat. Using your index finger, carefully push the filling through on one side first, and when the tube is half full, push it on the other side.
  8. Place them on a small baking sheet. Turn on the oven and preheat it to 220 degrees.
  9. Bring the cream to a boil on the stove, add a little salt.
  10. Pour hot cream over the prepared cannelloni pasta stuffed with minced meat. The pasta should be almost completely covered. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven on the middle rack.
  11. Bake for 20 minutes. Now sprinkle the pasta with the remaining cheese.
  12. Add another 10–20 minutes for cooking, that is, until the cheese is browned.

Ingredients

  • 500 g pasta;
  • 600 g chicken fillet;
  • 1 egg;
  • 1 onion;
  • a bunch of dill;
  • 5 g khmeli-suneli;
  • 30 g butter;
  • 30 g olive oil;
  • 150 ml tomato sauce;
  • 100 g hard cheese;
  • salt, parsley.

Cooking method

We make minced chicken fillet. Wash the meat with cold water, chop it coarsely, put it in a blender.

Add a raw chicken egg to the blender - it will serve as a kind of glue that will connect the minced meat ingredients together.

For juiciness, add the classic ingredient of any minced meat - a coarsely chopped onion. Grind the products until a homogeneous, smooth mass is obtained.

Add seasonings - hops-suneli, finely chopped bunch of dill and salt to taste. Mix the ingredients again and the minced meat is ready. It can be put in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes so that the products “get to know” each other.

Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan for frying, add butter, when the pan is well heated and the butter has melted, add the minced meat. Fry over moderate heat for several minutes until half cooked, so that the minced meat sets and lightens slightly.

Pour 3 liters of boiling water into a saucepan, add 2-3 teaspoons of salt, and add gramophones. Cook for 5 minutes, do not cook until done, they will start to stick together. Place the semi-finished gramophones in a colander, then pour in extra virgin olive oil.

Grease a ceramic baking dish with olive oil. Add 50–80 ml of hot water and a pinch of salt to the tomato sauce.

Grate hard cheese on a fine grater. Sprinkle the dish with a thick layer of grated cheese and heat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.

- 250 g hard cheese,

- half a teaspoon of ground black pepper,
- 30 g butter,
- 3 tbsp. vegetable oil.

The onion is peeled and chopped; you can even grind it through a meat grinder along with minced meat. Then the minced meat is salted, peppered, and 2 tbsp is poured into it. water and it is mixed. Vegetable oil is poured into a frying pan and heated. In oil over moderate heat, minced meat is fried with onions for about 15 minutes, and then cooled to room temperature. Boil the pasta for 3 minutes until half cooked, so that it becomes elastic but does not burst. Drain the pasta and rinse it quickly under cold water (to prevent sticking).

The pasta is boiled until tender in salted water. Afterwards they are thrown into a colander to cool and drain the water. And during this time, the oven is heated to 180 C. A baking sheet with meat and vegetables is placed in it and kept in it for 15 minutes. After removing the pan from the oven, let the meat cool. Next, the chilled meat is finely chopped, placed in a bowl with vegetables and mixed with sour cream, chopped cilantro and grated Cheddar cheese. The resulting minced meat is carefully stuffed into boiled pasta.

6. Add tomatoes to the minced meat in the frying pan. Add a spoonful of tomato paste there and mix everything.

8. While the minced meat is cooling, grate the cheese. And we make a sauce from tomato paste: stir a spoonful of tomato paste with water in a glass, you can also add a little salt and spices.

9. We fill our pasta with filling and put it in the form. Sprinkle cheese on top and place the rest of the pasta on top. Sprinkle everything with cheese again.


10. Fill everything with tomato paste and water, place in a preheated oven and cook at 180° for 20-30 minutes (depending on how your oven cooks).

But it would be possible to make such stuffed pasta in the oven on a baking sheet, without stacking them on top of each other, so that you could layer them individually.
