Watch Klitschko's interview. “So that you do not know grief and good luck.” The funniest quotes from Vitali Klitschko. Mathematics is a complex science

We interviewed Klitschko. When asked about his preference for a car, we immediately heard a clear answer: “I ride big ones, because I simply don’t fit in small ones. And comfort is of great importance in cars today.”. When Vitali Klitschko got into the Grand Cherokee after nine, he felt as if he was on an airplane. Vitalik almost always drives himself, enjoying it.

The interview with Vitali Klitschko turned out to be quite funny. He recalled his childhood, in which his room was covered with Lamborghini posters, and he dreamed about when he would buy it. And one fine moment came. “I came to the car dealership, and the managers really upset me, they said that I simply wouldn’t fit there. Of course, I tried to get into the cockpit of a Lamborghini, but I couldn’t.”

An interview with Vitali Klitschko was conducted in the program Visiting Dmitry Gordon. This program talks about the sports life of a boxer, as well as political activities. Vitaly talked about being friends with the American film actor, governor and just a good person Arnold Schwarzenegger .

Klitschko gave a very interesting interview. Vitaly also talks about his website, where there is a quote "The greatest super heavyweight champion of all time is Vitali Klitschko." There is a heated discussion about this.

According to Vitali Klitschko, the most great super heavyweight is Max Schmeling. At some points the interview with Vitali Klitschko was heated. But the interview was clear and concise.

Vitali Klitschko (interview part 2)

Ukraine has always been famous for its heroes.

They are sung in legends, songs, thoughts, and the most famous Ukrainian strongman lived, of course, in the capital city of Kiev, on Podol, and earned his living by crushing leather, making it suitable for further processing, which is why he received the nickname - Kozhemyaka. If you believe the ancient legend, it was Nikita Kozhemyaka who saved Kyiv from the powerful fire-breathing Serpent, defeating the monster with his bare hands and without taking a reward for it.

Vitaliy Klitschko became the face of not so much sports, but generally strong Ukraine in the late 1990s of the 20th century, when photographs of boxing brothers Vitaliy and Vladimir Klitschko with championship belts appeared on the colorful posters that office residents love to hang above their workplaces. Since then, for more than ten years, Vitaliy Klitschko has been the face of Ukrainian sports, a world champion, one of the world’s most famous sports brands, a millionaire, a living embodiment of the “American Dream” in the Ukrainian format: a self-made man.

But Vitali Klitschko is famous not only for working with his fists in the ring, winning championship belts. Almost for the first time in the history of world boxing, and certainly Ukrainian, a world boxing champion defends his dissertation and receives a PhD in Philosophy. Once Vitaly was asked: what, in his opinion, is a person and why did he come into this world? To which he replied: “There are many thoughts of philosophers on this topic. I believe that a person came into this world to change it for the better. And if we philosophize on the topic of what a boxer is and why he came into this world, and give definitions, then a boxer is an athlete who is interested in such a type of martial arts as boxing. When playing this sport, he sets certain goals for himself to achieve the best results. And he wins!”

Since the fall of 2004, which became historical and in many ways a turning point for Ukraine, Vitali Klitschko also became a new face of Ukrainian politics. Coming to the Maidan in 2004, a year later he headed the political bloc named after him. However, political activity did not distract him from the main thing - Klitschko continued to consolidate his status as a world boxing champion.

How does a professional boxer manage to be both a politician and a philosopher?

Blacksmith's grandson

Ukrainian from Kyrgyzstan

Future world champion Vitali Klitschko was born on July 19, 1971 in the village of Belovodsk - his father, a military pilot, served there in Kyrgyzstan. Mother, Nadezhda Ulyanovna, was an ordinary employee. But Klitschko’s historical homeland is Central Ukraine, Cherkasy region, the famous Cossack and Haidamak region. The father of the future athlete, Vladimir Rodionovich, was born in the city of Smela. In general, as Vitaly said, the Klitschko family comes from Volyn, the part of it that is now occupied by the Rivne region. Near the village called Vilshany there is a farm called Klichki. According to family legend, this farm was founded by the Cossack Klitschko, who was known as a hospitable man and loved to receive guests. But this Cossack stood out not even for his hospitality, but for his loud voice. He convened, that is, in Ukrainian, “clicked” (called out) the guests. With the same voice, the champion’s ancestor also announced that he was going to fight.

The great-great-grandfather of Vitaly and Vladimir was a blacksmith, a man of enormous strength. In general, everyone in their family was tall and strong. According to eyewitnesses, the grandfather bent horseshoes and tore rawhide belts. And my father, an aviation colonel, was also not a weakling. “But nature is nature, and if Volodya and I relied only on it, we would lose to the first newcomers we met. In other words, technology first, and genetics in addition,” Vitaly once said. By the way, Vitaly’s younger brother, the no less famous Vladimir, was born five years later, on March 25, 1976 in Kazakhstan, where his father had been transferred by that time. When the brothers grew up, achieved success in sports and became public people, many, looking at posters and photographs in which they are depicted together, seriously take them for the same age and twins. “People often get confused,” agreed the younger Klitschko in numerous interviews. “It happens that you meet some charming young lady, you feel her interest in you - and suddenly it disappears. It turns out that “knowledgeable” people hinted to her, mistaking me for Vitaly, about a wife and two children. I’m not telling this a story – it’s a real-life incident, and more than one.”

Although in his interviews Vitaly has repeatedly said that his first childhood memories are connected with Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, apparently they were not bright enough: very little is known about the childhood of the Klitschko brothers, which passed outside of Ukraine. Their father was transferred to Kyiv only in 1985. The Klitschko family settled in a military town on the outskirts of Kyiv. Vitaly was enrolled in the eighth grade of Kyiv school No. 69 in the middle of the school year. Instantly he found himself in the center of female attention. Which is not at all surprising: if a guy is tall, pumped up and slender, his gaze will involuntarily stop at him. “For some reason, seventh-graders especially fell into a stupor,” recalls class teacher Vitaly Nina Vasilievna Voitenko in her interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda in Ukraine. “As I remember now: Vitalik is walking along the corridor, and all the girls from the lower grades, as if on command, “do alignment.” My colleagues and I laughed watching this picture.” Vitaly himself, according to his school friend Yuri Ionanov, did not pay attention to such trifles. He was seriously interested in sports and was planning to enter a military school.

However, despite the keen interest on the part of the fairer sex, Vitaly himself tried to restrain his emotions. Although, as childhood friends recall, he loved to be fashionable. Back then, in the eighties, pipe pants and herring ties were considered chic and super fashionable. Vitaly and his friends had a mutual friend - a cutter who sewed their school trousers in a fashionable manner. Then the guys bought themselves stylish black ties and showed off, thus bypassing the order to appear for classes in the same, faceless uniform. Another childhood friend remembers how he and Vitaly loved to gnaw on “Soviet” jelly in briquettes - there was no time to cook, and they did it at a time when the rest of us had a Ukrainian language lesson. According to the rules at that time, children of military personnel who lived far from Ukraine for a long time were exempt from learning their native language. Over time, Vitaliy Klitschko will fill this gap, adding his native language to the languages he speaks, and will constantly improve it. “My family speaks Russian. There were no people nearby who could practice Ukrainian with me more often. But I did not lose hope of mastering my native language. In addition, we can communicate in Kazakh, Czech and Lithuanian,” Vitaly later explained his attitude to the language problem.

By the way, Vitali Klitschko earned his first money as a schoolboy, and not at all from playing sports, but from... his love for Kyiv. “I immediately fell in love with this city,” he recalled in an interview. – Kyiv seemed cozy and very beautiful to me. I wanted to learn as much as possible about him and share my knowledge. This was the reason that I worked as a tour guide for six months. My first earnings were 140 rubles, I spent every penny on gifts for my family. I bought a radio for my parents, a skateboard for my brother and myself. There’s still some left for the Kiev cake.”

It must be said that being tall caused a lot of trouble for the teenager. Over the summer of 1986, Vitaly grew by 20 centimeters at once. After the holidays he came to school thin, long and awkward. The young man was embarrassed to look at himself from the outside; he wanted to appear shorter, so he hunched over and slouched all the time. A high school student who played sports professionally saved his spine from irreversible curvature. “You won’t become shorter, it’s easy to become hunchbacked,” he said, after which Vitaly resigned himself to the height given by nature. Later, he admitted that his height allows him to drive only certain models of cars, and to fly only in business class on an airplane: economy class is not designed for wealthy people; he always does not have enough space in the cabin. Despite his height and physique, Vitaly never took part in street fights. In adolescence, both he and Vladimir were already professionally involved in sports, including kickboxing, which became fashionable thanks to the popularity of films about martial arts in the “late” USSR. And no self-respecting athlete will allow himself to fight on the street, especially with a weaker opponent. “When I came home with a bruise one day as a child, my grandmother said: “You can hit much harder with a word than with a fist.” Learn to prove what’s right with words,” recalls Vitaly. – And so, having listened to her advice, throughout this entire time I have been trying to train in eloquence no less than in boxing. I think this quality is also very important.”

Vitaliy Klichko has repeatedly demonstrated his own inability to speak in public. It was because of his pearls that the mayor of Kyiv became a real star on the Internet.

About tomorrow

On the air of a Ukrainian TV channel, the politician uttered a phrase that instantly became his signature “calling card”: “And today, not everyone can watch tomorrow. Or rather, not only everyone can watch. Few people can do this."

Residents of Kyiv

Later, commenting on the situation with the preparation of the capital for the heating season, Klitschko made a reservation and called on the people of Kiev to “get ready for the land”: “I ask each of the Kiev residents to treat this problem with understanding and would also ask all Kiev residents to address the problem of heat conservation in the same way with a special component and preparation for the land."

“For cold water to become hot, it needs to be heated,” this is how the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, explained to reporters why there is no hot water supply in some areas of Kyiv.

“I congratulate everyone on the New Year, I wish you not to know grief, good luck, love, happiness and especially health,” congratulations from Vitali Klitschko.

Mathematics and Klitschko

On the air of the Ukrainian TV channel TSN, Vitaliy Klitschko made a reservation: “I have two deputies, four of which have been in the cabinet of ministers for a month and who cannot be appointed. I do not know why".

“In the Odessa region there is a city, fifty kilometers away, not far away... Fifty kilometers... You know, distance is not measured in kilometers. Two hours! Fifty kilometers takes two hours to travel.”

About fights

The ex-boxer commented on the fist fights of Ukrainian parliamentarians: “Everyone went to parliament to work with their heads. Some people are not very good with their heads, so they used their fists. As a professional in this matter, I can say that they weren’t very good with their fists either.”

After the next clashes in December 2012 in the Verkhovna Rada, in which Klitschko did not participate, he also said: “In the United States, boxers’ fists are equated to weapons, and the fists of a world champion can be called nuclear weapons. I think that we will not use these weapons for now.”

About working with people

The mayor of Kyiv also made the following statements:

“I want to draw everyone’s attention. I have met many police officers who have died, people and demonstrators who have died, and everyone is asking the question..."

“I didn’t leave the office, I didn’t look, I walked by and looked at the offices, the offices don’t matter to me. I’m ready to work, the main thing is that this work is effective, and not where you sit.”

“I go where I’m ready to go.”

About politicians

In an interview with Ksenia Sobchak, Klitschko talks about the need for politicians to speak more simply. But even this seemingly simple thought he cannot clearly formulate without his brother’s help.

“So many politicians try to speak in such terminology and so cleverly that you can listen for an hour and then ask him what you understood from all this said, and the person cannot retell absolutely anything.”

“Politics has become an important part of my life. It resembles a jar of cockroaches. Here who will outwit whom, who will deceive whom. And even if politicians use prohibited techniques against each other, they meet again in this bank.”

About history

Answering a question from Vladimir Pozner about SS veterans, Vitali Klitschko said: “If a person wore an SS uniform, that is, a clear one, he painted himself in the colors in which he painted himself. And those people who... There are many points of view on this matter. I clearly adhere to and clearly understand that those manifestations, if you are already asking the question so bluntly, are supposedly us,” he noted.

About patriotism and Ukraine

At a meeting with Ukrainian soldiers, Vitaliy Klitschko stated: “The most important body armor for each of you who has a mother, wife, children... Social standards are this body armor. When everyone knows: God forbid, what happens to him - his family will receive good compensation and will not beg, and the state will take care of them, and they have normal living standards. This is a bulletproof vest."

The mayor became famous thanks not only to his bright boxing past, but also, first of all, for his ability to give out pearls.

From all the statements and reservations of Vitali Klitschko, you can compile a Talmud and at your leisure, when you are in a bad mood, read and have fun. On such a significant day, “KP” in Ukraine” collected the best aphorisms of the mayor.

Not only everything

Vitali Klitschko’s “calling card” is a phrase about tomorrow, uttered on the air of a Ukrainian TV channel.

“And today, not everyone can watch tomorrow. Or rather, not only everyone can watch. Few people can do this” - from that moment on, everyone began to quote the mayor of Kyiv on the Internet.

To the ground

A little later, Klitschko commented on the situation with the preparation of the capital for the heating season and made a slight reservation - he called on the people of Kiev to prepare for the ground. Or maybe he didn’t misspoke at all?!

“I ask each of the Kiev residents to treat this problem with understanding and would ask all Kiev residents to address the problem of heat conservation and land preparation in the same way, with a special component.”

In another interview, Vitali Klitschko very clearly explained why there is no water supply in some areas of Kyiv:

“For cold water to become hot, it must be heated!” - and you can’t argue with that.

In general, the mayor’s words sometimes sound quite logical, let’s take as an example the situation with the collapsed Shulyavsky Bridge.

“He was not recognized as an emergency. He was tired from time…”

Mathematics is a complex science

For those who have forgotten, we remind you that Vitali Klitschko is a former boxer and he does not need to be able to do complex mathematical calculations. Boxing is not chess.

“I have two deputies, four of whom have been lying in the Cabinet of Ministers for a month now and who cannot be appointed. I don’t know why” - and we don’t know why they are lying there at all.

“I want to draw everyone’s attention. I met with many police officers who died, with people and demonstrators who died, and everyone is asking the question...”

What questions can there be here, Vitaly Vladimirovich?!

“In the Odessa region there is a city 50 kilometers away - not far away. You know, distance is not measured in kilometers. Two hours... 50 kilometers takes two hours,” the Kiev mayor pointed out the problems with the roads.

Thoughts in my head

Surely the whole point is that Vitali Klitschko has a lot of thoughts and sometimes they get confused and the end result is what happens. When asked by journalists how much time the mayor needs to change the situation in the city, the mayor answered in his usual manner.

“We not only need time, we need money. Because we understand that we don’t need money. Don’t take our money. From the air, without money, we won’t be able to build roads or replace elevators” - he was just confused in his thoughts.

Just like in the interview with Vladimir Pozner

“If a person put on an SS uniform, then... there is a clear... he painted himself in the colors in which he... painted himself. And... those people who... there are a lot of points of view on this matter... I clearly adhere to and... I clearly understand , that those manifestations. If you are already posing the question so bluntly that we supposedly...” - curtain.

Congratulations!

Be that as it may, Kiev residents still rush to congratulate their mayor on his birthday. They even “issued” a coin with his portrait - with a face value of 8 UAH, dedicated to the new travel tariffs. Congratulations basically come in the same form that the Ukrainians themselves received from Vitali Klitschko.

“Happy New Year to everyone, I wish you not to know grief, good luck, love, happiness and especially health.” And the same to you, Mr. Mayor.

Vitali Klitschko is a legendary personality. There is not a person in our country who has not heard about this athlete. After all, Vitaly is a world boxing champion. Without lying we can say that the Klitschko surname is the pride of Ukraine. But currently Vitaly is not only the most successful boxer, but also a politician. What are the political views of the leader of the Udar party? What does he think about sports and Ukraine? Vitaliy Klitschko answered these and other questions in an exclusive interview with the portal www.stat-ua.kiev.ua

Vitaly, you are a world famous athlete. Why do you need politics?

Sport is my life. But the life of my family, my parents, is connected with what is happening in Ukraine. We are not going to go live abroad. And we are not indifferent to what is happening in the country. Unfortunately, Ukraine has deep economic problems. The rules of the game are set for a handful of people. But the vast majority of the people, up to 90%, are waiting for their lives to improve in some way, but nothing changes. Other countries are developing - take Poland for example. Why can't we? There is potential here to make our country great. Today we must not miss the moment.

So today politics is a priority for you?

I can do everything. Every morning I exercise. And starting from 9 am I work in the office. Before the fight there are 3 weeks of serious training and, naturally, I have no time for politics. Although who knows, maybe in a few years they will talk about me as a politician, and not as an athlete.

Your main task is to bring Ukrainian politics to the European level?

And that too. There are a lot of ideas and tasks, the main thing is to have time to implement everything. For example, in Ukraine, charity has been elevated to the rank of a feat, I am trying to make philanthropy become the norm. In addition, one of the main tasks that I set for myself (as a politician) is the fight against corruption.

Vitaly, how do you assess your sports career?

I achieved almost everything I could have dreamed of. He was a European champion and an intercontinental champion. Won world titles. It was a great honor for me to become the owner of the same title that Muhammad Ali once held. Became the owner of an honorary belt, which is awarded by boxing experts from The Ring magazine, as the strongest heavyweight on the planet. Assessing my sports path, I can now say: I achieved all the goals that I set for myself. My brother and I have three belts out of a possible four. Our plans are to conquer it.

What do you wish for our readers?

The main thing is to have a goal and a dream. And go to her without stopping. And rest assured, everything will work out!
