(original recipe for crumbly shortbread dough stuffed with apples)

For the test:
Butter (I use sandwich butter) – 400 g,
Flour – 3 – 3.5 cups,
Soda slaked with vinegar - 1 tsp.
Sugar – 1 glass,
Salt is a whisper
Chicken eggs – 3-4 pcs.,

Filling:
Dried apples – 250-300 g,
Jam syrup (pear, quince, strawberry, apple) – 0.5 cups,
Sugar – 1 glass.

Grate the frozen butter, mix with flour, rubbing in your hands, add eggs, slaked soda, sugar and salt, and knead into a tight dough, which should be held in warm hands as little as possible. Roll out two thin sausages and place in the freezer for 30-40 minutes. While the dough is cooling, grind the apples in a meat grinder and mix them with sugar and syrup.
Take out the first piece of dough, you can initially make it a little larger than the second half, and roll it into a low layer of the bottom layer of the pie, piercing it with a fork so that the dough rises evenly. Place the rolled out layer of dough on a greased parchment paper placed on a baking sheet. Distribute the filling evenly. Grate the second part of the dough on a coarse grater and distribute over the filling. Bake the pie for 20 minutes in a well-heated oven at medium temperature.

Let cool slightly and cut into pieces. Once placed on a plate, the top layer of the cake can be sprinkled with powdered sugar, cocoa powder or cinnamon. The pie turns out crumbly, the dough is crispy, the filling is unusually aromatic and is very suitable for the structure of shortcrust pastry.

Pie with apples made from yeast dough

Apples are a classic filling for pies; dried apples are also used.

You will need: 1 kg of yeast dough, 200 g of dried apples, 1/2 - 1/4 cup of sugar.

Pre-dried apples are poured with a liter of hot water and left to swell, then squeezed and passed through a meat grinder, but not all, but only two-thirds of the apples. The rest can be cut or trimmed with scissors. Then both parts are mixed.

If desired, add chopped fresh apples, pears, berries and even nuts.
Sugar is added to taste - the amount depends on the type of apple.

The dough is placed on a baking sheet and covered with filling, or pies are made.

I want to tell you about a very tasty pie called “dry apple pie with semolina.” This is an unusual apple pie recipe, very simple and delicious. Now that there are a lot of fragrant autumn apples, you should definitely try it. Preparations take literally 15 minutes, and this time is spent only on grating the apples, since the dough is not prepared at all. The dry ingredients are poured into the mold and that’s it. The pie turns out very tasty, very apple-y, the top part turned out a little crispy, like a crumble, which I love. Overall, this is one of the best pies I've tried. So, how to make a quick apple pie in the oven - a recipe with photos.

Dry pie with apples and semolina - recipe with photo. How to bake dry apple pie in the oven

Products:

Flour - 1 tbsp,

Sugar 1 tbsp. (less can be done if desired)

semolina - 1 tbsp.,

baking powder - one teaspoon,

butter - 100-150 grams,

apples 1 - 1.5 kg

lemon (optional)

The recipe for dry pie with apples and semolina is simple and tasty.

  1. Mix 1 cup of semolina, a teaspoon of baking powder, 1 cup of flour and 1 cup of sugar (I took less sugar, it was still delicious).

2. Grease the pan with butter or line it with parchment. Add one third of the dry mixture.

3. Apples can be grated in advance and mixed with lemon juice to prevent them from darkening. But I didn’t have lemon, so I grated it as I went. So, grate half the apples on a coarse grater. I took 1.3 kg, which was quite enough. Place them on the dry mixture.

4. Add another third of the dry mixture. I read reviews that the top part should be made thinner, so I put more in the middle part and left less on the top.

5. Grate and add remaining apples.

6. Top with the remaining dry mixture. And grate or cut 150 grams of butter onto it. I took 100 grams.
