Raspberry jam raises your temperature. Tea with raspberries at temperature. Fighting high fever

Raspberries are a universal folk remedy. It will equally benefit both a child and an adult, especially during a period when antibiotics have to be avoided. But not only berries are useful; it is recommended to brew the twigs as a remedy for severe colds. In summer, it is also suggested to use raspberry leaves in combination with strawberry leaves.

Homemade raspberry tea will help enrich the body:

  • pectins and vitamin C;
  • folic acid and iron;
  • carotene and vitamins from group B;
  • natural sugars and tannins.

If it is not possible to use a fresh product - raspberries, their branches and leaves, then you can use jam.

Using raspberries for colds, it is best to brew tea, because this culture contains salicylic acid, which has anti-inflammatory properties. Therefore, the opinion that tea with raspberries increases the temperature is erroneous. Compared to aspirin, it contains a small dose of salicylates, which is safe even for a child, and it is absorbed much better than tablets. A child can be given raspberries to eat if there is no allergy and no earlier than 2 years of age.

When salicylic acid acts on a cold body, you can quickly lower a high temperature, while it copes not only with microbes, but also with viruses. Relieving inflammation and pain effects, the contents of the tea drunk are not capable of causing harm and, acting comprehensively, will help increase appetite and normalize the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.

If the temperature does not decrease or increases, you should consult a doctor and follow his recommendations.

For adults, in the absence of contraindications, without aspirin on hand, if you catch a cold in the country where there is no pharmacy nearby, it is better to brew it.

Raspberries for colds, thanks to their diaphoretic properties, can remove toxins accumulated in the body. Without causing harm and supporting a weakened body, tea with it is able to:

  • warming up the entire body is beneficial not only for adults, but also for a child with a cold who is not allergic to red berries and fruits;
  • lower the temperature;
  • more effectively relieve cold symptoms;
  • quickly absorb nutrients even by an organism weakened after illness.

By disinfecting, dealing with microbes, eliminating the pain in the throat, raspberry tea is able to normalize the immune system, which is very important when allergies or other side effects occur from systematically taken antibiotics.

The therapeutic effect for colds, benefits as an antipyretic and diaphoretic - this is why the berry is valuable at home, because the beneficial substances are retained in it even after heat treatment. This is why drinking tea with raspberry jam is so beneficial. It is better for a child to drink not tea with raspberries, but warm water with added jam, especially when it is impossible to force treatment with tablets, syrup or mustard plasters.

Contraindications

Raspberries are one of the most effective folk remedies in the fight against fever, provided they are used correctly. But, as a rule, any berry is an allergen, so if you have allergies or individual intolerances, consuming berries is contraindicated. In addition, you should not drink raspberry tea if you have gastrointestinal diseases (ulcers, gastritis) or kidney problems.

At first glance, tea with raspberries during pregnancy is useful, especially when you should not get carried away with antibiotics or take medications not prescribed by your doctor. But whether it is beneficial or harmful, it is best to always follow the recommendations of your doctor. Moreover, there is no consensus regarding the effect of raspberry tea on the body during pregnancy.

How to drink correctly

It is useful to drink raspberries for colds while in a calm home environment. To avoid harm when drinking raspberry tea increases sweating, it is recommended to wrap yourself well and go to sleep, provided there is no elevated temperature.

A cup of hot tea from these berries will help you improve your health and, in case of loss of strength, low temperature, become toned, and give the body greater efficiency. It is recommended to prepare and drink a hot drink at night (no more than 1 cup of tea before bed), wrap yourself well and sweat. Otherwise, increased sweat separation from the body and drafts on the street will lead to colds, runny nose and cough.

In order not to cause harm, but to create more favorable conditions for recovery, consume this moderately hot drink no more than 1.5-2 liters per day.

The prepared healing drink from berries should not be drunk too hot - this can cause irritation of the mucous membrane, increase coughing and discomfort in the larynx.

In winter, it is useful to brew raspberry tea based on dried berries, which you can stock up in the summer, which is much healthier than home canning. The same applies to .

How to brew raspberries for colds

When using raspberries for colds, it is customary to add a couple of tablespoons of dried berries (2 teaspoons of dried leaves or a sprig of raspberries) to 1 cup of boiling water and boil the mixture for 5 minutes. In order not to harm the body, drinking raspberry tea is recommended only after 10 minutes of infusion of this drink.

No less effective before bed is hot black tea with diluted 2-3 tablespoons of jam or grated fresh berries with sugar.

To gargle, you can prepare a tincture: chop fresh or dried raspberry leaves, pour 2 tablespoons of the prepared raw material into 0.5 liters of boiling water.

You can simply dilute the jam with boiling water directly in a cup, adding a couple of spoons of homemade preserves to 200 ml of water.

You won't need expensive antipyretic medications if you have raspberry leaves and shoots. Chopped and dried young stems with leaves (1 tablespoon) are poured with boiling water (400 ml), brought to a boil and allowed to brew a little. Young raspberry shoots will also be beneficial in restoring appetite, which decreases during a cold. You can add honey to taste, as tea does not have a sweet taste.

Raspberries are tasty and healthy, but it is worth remembering that they are not a medicine, and therefore cannot always replace full-fledged treatment. Seeing a doctor in a timely manner will help you avoid complications and get over a cold faster.

Most of us, with our mother's milk, have imbibed the belief in the miraculous effect of raspberries against colds. Relying on folk wisdom, many do not even know what beneficial substances the berry owes its popularity to. Its therapeutic effect is ensured by the presence of vitamins C, E, A, folic acid and other B vitamins, fatty acids, pectins, iodine, copper, potassium, calcium, iron. Raspberries are a known diaphoretic. Any infectious disease is manifested by an increase in body temperature, sometimes to high levels. But can raspberries be used at a body temperature of 38°-39°C?

Indications for use

Indications for the use of raspberry treatment are colds affecting the upper respiratory tract, influenza, and acute respiratory viral infections. They can occur with or without an increase in body temperature. Warm drinks with raspberries have a warming, softening, and strengthening effect on the immune system. Salicylic acid, which is part of it, has an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect. At high temperatures, the main task is to force the body to lose heat. By inducing profuse sweating through drinking, including raspberries, as well as maintaining the room temperature below 20°C, you can achieve its solution. Antipyretics also should not be discounted.

Healthy recipes

Raspberry is a special garden plant, all parts of which are suitable for preparing medicinal infusions: roots, stems, twigs, flowers, leaves, fruits. In our country, it is more common to use berries; they are prepared for the winter, dried, ground with sugar, made into jam, and frozen in order to prepare a potion if necessary. Raspberry tea can be prepared at temperature as follows:

  • brew regular tea, leave to cool until warm, add a tablespoon of berries in the state in which they were prepared, and drink in small sips;
  • Another option is to eat jam, preserves or other raspberry product as a bite, washed down with tea.

Fresh raspberries at temperature are even more effective and healthy, because... Fresh berries contain more vitamins, organic acids, tannins, pectins, and fatty oils than those that have been heat-treated or exposed to low temperatures. True, in the height of summer, when raspberries ripen, outbreaks of infectious diseases rarely occur, but if this happens, you must definitely take advantage of such a natural and useful medicine and do not miss the opportunity to strengthen the body's defenses.

Raspberry leaves will bring more benefits for colds and fever than berries, because... they contain 6 times more vitamin C. They will not only reduce the temperature, but will also be beneficial as an expectorant and anti-inflammatory agent. You can prepare a tincture using vodka or an infusion of water. Fresh leaves are suitable for this in the summer season, but preparations should be made for winter. To do this, whole green leaves are picked, washed and laid out on a towel in the shade in the garden or indoors. Direct sunlight should not hit them. The following recipe is suitable for adults: fill any glass jar two fingers deep with leaves, pour vodka so that they are completely covered and the liquid is the same amount higher than the previous layer. Then close with an airtight lid, place in a place protected from the sun and let it brew for a month. With the onset of cold weather, you can make such a preparation in advance so that at the slightest sign of a cold you can begin to be treated. You should drink 50g of it at night, and cover yourself warmly.

Infusion on water: pour a teaspoon of dry raw material with a glass of boiling water, cover with a lid and leave for 15-20 minutes, the antipyretic is ready.

One of the options for a raspberry drink that will help with fever is fruit drink. The properties of this berry are not affected by heat treatment. It is prepared like this: after boiling a liter of water, add 200g of berries and simmer over low heat for another 10 minutes. Then it is filtered and the berries are squeezed through cheesecloth. If desired, you can sweeten with sugar or honey. This is exactly how fruit juice is prepared from raspberry jam, using it instead of fresh berries. You can bring it to taste with lemon juice and honey. Drink fruit drink cooled to room temperature.

Raspberry compote at a temperature, like fruit drink, acts as a diaphoretic antipyretic. The basis for such a drink can be dried fruits from apples, pears, grapes, apricots, plums, etc. or various fresh vegetables that are on sale during illness. By adding raspberries, you can drink the compote warm at night to get a good sweat, or during the day to quickly remove toxins from the body.

Honey and raspberries at a temperature are a folk remedy, squared in terms of effectiveness. This is confirmed by the chemical composition of the apiproduct: vitamin C, B1, B2, B6, E, K, folic acid, many micro- and macroelements, organic acids, flavonoids, phytoncides, hormones, fats. In combination with raspberries, this is an excellent tonic that promotes rapid recovery, the removal of toxins and other harmful substances from the body, and therefore a reduction in elevated body temperature.

Use during pregnancy

During pregnancy, raspberries become especially important, because... pharmacological drugs are undesirable during this period. In addition to removing infection from the body, the berry will serve as a source of calcium, of which it is rich, which is important for the formation of the fetal bone skeleton and the removal of edema typical of pregnant women. There are statements that raspberries promote contraction of the uterus and can cause miscarriage. This feature is mainly attributed to raspberry leaves. It is unlikely that putting a spoonful of berries in tea will cause such a reaction. In any case, lowering the temperature with medications will do much more harm.

Application for children

The famous doctor Komarovsky claims that no medicine can compare with raspberry decoction in its ability to activate sweating, which is so important for removing toxins from the body and reducing high fever. Although he warns that it is necessary to give a sick child plenty of water and other liquids so that he has something to sweat. Drinks from berries and leaves will help to strengthen the child’s immunity, so you should not wait for cold symptoms, but with the onset of cold weather, make decoctions, adding other useful ingredients: rose hips, linden flowers, honey.

Contraindications for use

Contraindications to the use of raspberries include constipation, kidney disease, gout, hypersensitivity to substances that make up the plant. Pregnant women need to be careful when using it, as there are rather timid warnings about the dangers of raspberries for this category; there is probably no clear evidence of this.

Best before date

Any frozen supplies from the garden should be eaten before the new harvest season arrives. Raspberries, like blackberries, strawberries, and currants, are recommended to be used within 8-9 months, as well as jams, jams, dried leaves and inflorescences. The summer season will bring a new harvest and fresh supplies.

What can you replace raspberries with?

Analogues of raspberries at temperature are viburnum, black currant, blackberry, a hybrid of raspberries and blackberries - logan berry, named after the breeder who crossed the two shrubs. When using viburnum, you need to remember that it greatly lowers blood pressure, so it is not suitable for hypotensive people.

Many kids like sweet, tasty raspberries, but before introducing their child to such a berry, parents should learn about its properties, the optimal time for introducing it into complementary foods and other nuances that can prevent allergies or other health problems.

In what form should it be given?

The acquaintance begins with fresh ripe berries. The baby is offered one piece or even half a berry during breakfast. If no negative reaction to raspberries is noted by the end of the day, the number of berries per day is gradually increased to 50-100 g.

In addition to fresh raspberries, children can be offered this berry as a filling for pies and dumplings, and in the form of jam. It is also added to yoghurts, cocktails, cottage cheese, muffins, jellies, and compotes.

Can it be given at fever?

Tea with raspberries has long been used for colds, since this berry has the property of lowering body temperature during fever.

Since after eating raspberries the child begins to sweat more, in addition to this drink, he should be given another liquid to avoid dehydration. In addition, raspberries are not used to reduce fever in babies under one year old.

When choosing raspberries for a small child, pay special attention to the quality of the berries. Ideally, berries should be picked from your own garden, but if you buy them at the market, inspect and smell the product. Buy dry, whole and not crushed berries with a bright color and a pleasant aroma.

In many cases, the seller gives one raspberry to try so that the buyer is convinced of its sweet taste. This will help you choose a tasty berry and not add sugar to it. Do not buy damaged product with rotten or moldy areas.

What to do if you have an allergy?

If the baby reacts to a ripe berry with an allergic reaction, you need to wait a few more months before introducing it into complementary foods. If the baby is prone to allergies, it is recommended to treat the child to raspberries no earlier than 3 years of age.

Fever is a common symptom of ARVI. This is the immune system’s response to pathogenic microflora entering the body. Therefore, doctors do not recommend bringing it down with medication until it exceeds 38.5 C.

To improve your well-being, you can drink raspberry tea at a fever. This popular cold remedy was also used by our grandmothers.

The effectiveness of the drug is explained by its composition. Berries and leaves contain vitamins and microelements that help the body fight disease. Main properties of home medicine:

  • Prepared tea quickly relieves inflammation.
  • Strengthens the immune system and speeds up the healing process.
  • Thanks to the presence of salicylic acid (natural aspirin), it has powerful anti-inflammatory diaphoretic properties, resulting in a decrease in temperature and headache relief.

  • The best drink for colds. Almost all therapists recommend drinking more fluid, and raspberries are a good thirst quencher.
  • Contains tannins, magnesium, selenium, vitamins B, A, E.
  • The iron contained in raspberries helps prevent the development of anemia.
  • Due to the sufficient content of vitamin C, it is considered a natural antibiotic and perfectly reduces fever.
  • The fruits have virtually no effect on blood sugar levels, so they are allowed to be consumed by diabetics.
  • A short heat treatment does not deprive the plant of its beneficial properties.

The healing berry acts gently without injuring the body. Raspberries, while increasing immunity, inhibit the development of microbes and viruses.

Having an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, it not only relieves fever, but also improves appetite and normalizes the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.

Admission rules

Raspberry drink is extremely healthy and has a beneficial effect on the body. But if used incorrectly, it can, on the contrary, increase the temperature. To avoid harm, several conditions must be observed:

  1. The tea should be warm. Hot liquid is absorbed only after it cools down, and the body warms up.
  2. The plant has strong diaphoretic properties. To prevent dehydration, it is necessary to ensure sufficient fluid intake. Let the cup of raspberry tea be the third, but not the first. Otherwise you will get the opposite result.

  3. It is best to drink the drink before bed. This will allow the body to fully rest and gain strength. It's better not to go outside. If you sweat excessively in a light draft, you can get even more sick.
  4. Children 2 years old are given 30–40 ml of raspberry tea at a fever, twice a day. As the child grows older, the dose is increased.
  5. If the temperature is slightly elevated, it is enough to drink 1-2 cups of tea, wrap yourself up and sweat well.

In a situation where the body temperature is above 38.5 C (for small children, 38 C), it is necessary to take an antipyretic. In this case, folk remedies are used only as an auxiliary therapy.

Berry recipes

A drink made from sweet and aromatic raspberries will appeal to children and adults. But for maximum benefit, tea must be brewed correctly. There are several types of recipes:

  • In summer it is better to use fresh berries. 1–2 tbsp. l. pour 200 ml of boiling water and simmer over low heat for 1–2 minutes. Let it brew and drink in small sips.
  • Prepare a drink from frozen raspberries using the same principle, but you need to let the berries thaw.

  • 1 tbsp. l. jam, pour 250 ml of boiling water, stir, cool and drink.
  • Compote. Add 0.5 cups of dried berries to 1 liter of boiling water and simmer for 5 minutes. Let it brew and cool.
  • Raspberries have a beneficial effect when combined with other medicinal plants. As a result, the beneficial properties of tea are greatly enhanced. For one serving you need 1 tsp. linden blossom and 1 tbsp. l. berries Pour a glass of boiling water. This drink has antibacterial properties and is effective for fever and debilitating cough.
  • Grind a circle of lemon with 1 tsp. jam, add 1/2 tsp. mint. Pour boiling water over and let it brew. As a result of using tea, headaches disappear, inflammation in the throat and cough decrease.
  • The drink has a fresh, original taste. You can drink it throughout the day. Place a handful of dried apples in 1 liter of water and boil for 8 minutes. Add 1-3 tbsp. l. dried raspberries and simmer for another 5 minutes. Let cool covered.
  • Black currant will help relieve sore throat and strengthen the walls of blood vessels, which are especially affected by fever. Pour 1 tbsp into a large cup. l. berries, pour boiling water and insulate for 10 minutes. To improve the taste and increase the health benefits, it is recommended to add honey and lemon.

Depending on the specifics of the disease, you can choose an effective berry tea.

Leaf Recipes

It's not just berries that have beneficial properties. Young raspberry shoots contain a record amount of salicylic acid. And at the same time, the likelihood of allergies is much less. The raw materials for the infusion can be prepared independently or purchased at the pharmacy.

To prepare classic raspberry tea, 1 tbsp is enough. l. leaves, pour 0.5 liters of boiling water and leave for 20 minutes. Then strain and drink as a regular drink.

But to enrich the body with vitamins and improve health, make a mixture with the addition of other medicinal plants that have antipyretic properties. Mix equal amounts of raspberry leaf and:

  • Currant leaves. It contains more vitamin C than berries, and its diuretic properties will help lower the temperature faster.
  • Common rowan. It has a bactericidal effect, restores the body's immune system, and has a calming effect on inflamed mucous membranes. Add chopped rose hips. The berry contains a record amount of vitamin C, cleanses the blood of bacteria and helps eliminate nasal congestion.
  • Blackberry leaves (they reduce inflammation, thin mucus, making it easier to clear), black currant leaves.
  • Lingonberry leaves (have antiviral and antibacterial effects, but they are contraindicated for children under 12 years old), rose hips, currant leaves.

To make tea, 1 tbsp. l. pour 0.5 liters of boiling water over the mixture and simmer for 10 minutes under the lid. Leave for 2 hours, filter the tea leaves. Drink warm (you can add a little honey) twice a day, 250 ml.

Procurement of raw materials

In summer it is best to use fresh fruits. At other times of the year, preserved berries are used for treatment. They can be frozen, dried or made into jam. But in order for raspberries to be beneficial at temperature, it is necessary to preserve them correctly:

  1. Freezing. Place the berries sorted out from the garbage in a single layer on a tray covered with a cotton cloth and place in the freezer. After 1–3 hours, pour them into a bag and store them for long-term storage. Thus, the berries will remain crumbly, and after thawing they will not be inferior to fresh.
  2. If you don't have enough space in the refrigerator, make some fruit puree. To do this, grind the raspberries in a blender or meat grinder. For every 200 gr. add 1 tbsp. l. Sahara. Divide the mixture into ziplock bags or plastic cups and place in the freezer.
  3. Drying. In order for the berries to retain their shape, they must be slightly unripe. Harvest only in sunny, dry weather. Spread the raspberries in a thin layer on thick paper or gauze and leave them outside in the sun (it is recommended to bring them indoors at night so that the berries do not gain moisture). The process will take approximately a week. During this time, to dry the berries evenly, you need to turn them over 3-4 times. Store in a dry place.

  4. Express drying. Spread parchment paper on a baking sheet, place the berries on top and place in the oven for 6–8 hours. The temperature should be between 45–60 C, otherwise almost all the vitamins will disappear and the fruits will simply burn.
  5. Raw raspberry jam. Pour sugar into the collected, stemmed berries in a 1:2 ratio. Stir the mixture until smooth and place in sterilized jars. Cover tightly and store in the refrigerator.
  6. Leaves. For drying, collect them in May, before flowering begins. At the same time, give preference to fresh, undamaged greens. Place the shoots on a cotton cloth in the shade in a draft and keep them there until completely dry. Then chop and place in a screw-on jar.

If the technology is followed, the fruits and leaves retain a maximum of nutrients throughout the year. During this time, it is advisable to use them to make new reserves for the winter in the summer.

Contraindications

Raspberries have healing properties. But sometimes its use needs to be limited or eliminated completely.

The berries and leaves contain a high concentration of oxalates. They tend to crystallize, creating health problems. Therefore, the use of this medicine is contraindicated in case of gout and a tendency to form stones in the body. It should not be used in case of various kidney diseases, since the diuretic effect increases the load on these organs.

  • Exacerbation of gastrointestinal erosion.
  • Ulcer.
  • Individual intolerance.
  • Children under 2 years old. Their sweat glands are still poorly developed and as a result of such treatment, allergies can be provoked.

This medicine is allowed in limited quantities for pregnant women. In this case, it is necessary to observe the body’s reaction. And although tea from the leaves, in addition to lowering the temperature, helps fight toxicosis, you should consult a gynecologist before treatment. After all, the substances they contain soften the cervix and provoke training contractions.

The effectiveness of raspberries at temperature has been proven many times. It acts gently without overstraining the body. Allows you to do without the use of antipyretic medications at the initial stage of the disease. But like any medicinal plant, it requires careful attention to compliance with recipes and rules of administration. It also has a number of contraindications.

Raspberries have long been practically a symbol of the treatment of colds using traditional medicine; its anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties are known even to children. A cup of hot tea with raspberries is often pictured in our imagination, along with a thermometer sticking out from under the arm, and handkerchiefs scattered everywhere, when we imagine how we will “rest” on sick leave. But does raspberry tea enjoy deserved fame as an antipyretic? And in general, is it possible to drink tea with raspberries at a temperature, will this not lead to the opposite effect?

Why raspberries are known as an effective remedy for colds

The benefits of raspberries for human health, like many other berries, are undeniable. The bony berry contains a lot of useful substances that are necessary for health. Vitamins (A, E, PP, B1, C), microelements, fiber, tannins, organic acids that make up raspberries fill the body with health and strength, and strengthen the immune system. Raspberries are close to lemon in terms of ascorbic acid content, and vitamin C, as you know, is necessary for the prevention of colds, and it also helps fight ARVI. The berry contains salicylic acid, from which aspirin is made, used as an antipyretic. Salicylic acid relieves pain, inflammation, and rids the body of germs.

Tea with raspberries has a diaphoretic effect and helps reduce fever. The drink helps fight thirst, which often haunts a person with a fever. At the same time, we must not forget that as the temperature rises, dehydration occurs, so it is extremely important to drink as much fluid as possible. The drink will help get rid of the obsessive feeling of thirst, which prevents you from falling asleep and adds problems to the patient with ARVI. But this doesn't mean you should ignore thirst. Be sure, in addition to the berry drink, you need to drink plain water and other herbal teas.

At what temperature can you drink raspberry tea?

When answering the question whether it is possible to drink raspberry tea at a temperature, it is necessary to clarify what temperature is meant. When getting sick, the body tries to fight viruses on its own; it turns on a protective mechanism, which is an increase in temperature. It is at elevated temperatures that the body begins to produce a virus protector called interferon. Doctors strongly advise against trying to reduce the temperature with antipyretics if it has not reached 38.5 degrees. At a temperature of 37, 37.5, 38 degrees, tea with raspberries can have an antipyretic effect, relieve unpleasant symptoms, and help the body cope with a cold. The drink will have an anti-inflammatory, expectorant effect, which will bring noticeable relief to the patient. But if the mercury column of the thermometer has exceeded 39 degrees, self-medication is not only useless, but also dangerous. If this temperature lasts longer than one day, you should contact a specialist and not experiment with your health. Otherwise, it can cause serious complications, including dangerous inflammation.

How to lower the temperature with raspberries

At high temperatures, traditional medicine experts recommend doing the following. You need to prepare the drink, cool it to a warm temperature, drink in large sips, and lie down under the blanket. This way the body will “sweat” and the temperature will gradually decrease. This method has several caveats. The drink should be warm. Drinking hot raspberry tea at high temperatures is not allowed, as are other drinks. You might be interested. Hot raspberry tea can cause the opposite reaction: the fever will increase.

When should you not drink raspberry tea?

The method is not suitable if the body temperature exceeds 38.5 degrees. However, this does not prevent many lovers of self-medication from trying to bring down the temperature with a berry drink, even at a temperature of 39 degrees. This really helps some, but you need to understand that doctors are against such measures, which can only worsen the patient’s condition. In general, it is advisable to take raspberry tea at a fever with the permission of the treating specialist. In addition to its beneficial effects, raspberries can have a negative effect on a particular person.

Children are often given tea with raspberries to drink at a temperature of 38 degrees. The method is used by those who do not want to “stuff” their young body with pills, but try to overcome the problem with natural remedies. Raspberries can be given to children one year old, so many parents welcome this method of treatment.

Features of drinking raspberry tea at temperature

Using raspberry tea to get rid of high fever is possible only in complex treatment of the disease. You should not try to recover just by drinking a flavored antipyretic drink.

You must be sure that the temperature has “risen” due to a viral disease. If the nature of the symptom is unclear (and these may be other, more serious diseases), you should not self-medicate. It is necessary to establish the exact cause of the high temperature.

As we said above, raspberry tea should definitely not be the only drink. It is necessary to drink as much clean water as possible.

How to make raspberry tea depending on temperature

There are several ways to drink raspberry tea. This can be regular black tea, drunk with berry jam. You can stir 2-3 teaspoons of jam, or berries, ground with sugar, in a cup of black tea.

It's easy to make a drink from dry or frozen berries. Pour a tablespoon of berries into a glass of boiled water and leave for at least half an hour. For taste and additional benefits, you can add a teaspoon of honey. But you can do without sweeteners. Not only berries, but raspberry branches and leaves have antipyretic properties, and you can also make a drink based on them. But in this case, the tea will taste tart and bitter, which not everyone will like.

Raspberries are valuable because they are useful in any form; even with heat treatment, they retain most of the beneficial substances, which means that tea with berries can be taken in any form.
