Military Academy of Logistics and Technical Support. Military Academy of Logistics named after. Army General A.V. Khruleva. Military Academy of MTO

They have long-standing traditions of training personnel. One of the oldest institutions is the Khrulev Logistics Academy, which trains officers and mid-level specialists in the field of management and provision of logistics for the army and rear.

Story

The Military Academy of Logistics and Technical Support named after A.V. Khrulev was founded in 1900. The task of the educational institution was to train and educate officers of the quartermaster service. Until this moment, such institutions had not existed anywhere in the world. In 1906, the period of study was extended to 3 years, and the institution was equated to a school of higher military education.

The university was given academy status in 1911, and after the revolution, like many military universities in St. Petersburg, the institution became subordinate to the Red Army. In the period 1924-1925, an attempt was made at a large-scale reorganization - all faculties were distributed among military universities, which affected the quality of education of graduates.

A new round of development history began in 1932, when the Military Transport Academy was established in Moscow, and in 1935 the Military Economic Academy was founded in the city of Kharkov. The merger of the two institutions occurred in the post-war period, in 1956. Since 1999, the academy has been training specialists with a full higher military education, and since 2010, cadets with secondary specialized training have also begun to graduate from the institution.

In 1925, Andrei Vasilyevich Khrulev received an education at the highest courses of the Red Army, after which he was appointed to work in the central apparatus of the People's Commissariat of Defense of the Soviet Union. Since 1939, he headed the army supply department, and since 1940 he took the post of chief army quartermaster.

With the outbreak of hostilities, Lieutenant General A.V. Khrulev became Deputy People's Commissar of Defense of the country and took over the leadership of the Main Logistics Directorate of the army. During the Great Patriotic War, for about a year, in parallel with other duties, he held the post of People's Commissar of Railways. In 1943, Andrei Vasilyevich was appointed head of the Main Logistics Directorate, and later - chief of logistics for the entire Red Army.

In the post-war period, A. V. Khrulev held responsible positions in the logistics department of the USSR Armed Forces. Since 1951, he was appointed Deputy Minister of National Economy and was involved in the development of the building materials industry. In 1958 he returned to the Ministry of Defense of the Soviet Union as an adviser-inspector. He died in 1962 and was buried on Red Square. Military Academy of Logistics named after. Army General A.V. Khruleva

The Federal State Treasury Military Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Military Academy of Logistics and Technical Support named after Army General A.V. Khrulev” of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has passed a long and glorious path of its formation and development. It dates back to March 31, 1900, when in the capital of Russia, St. Petersburg, for the first time in the world, a special military educational institution for the rear was created - the “Quartermaster Course” for the training of officers and officials of the commissary department.

In 1906, the Quartermaster course was equated to a higher military educational institution, increasing the period of study to 3 years.

In 1911, the Quartermaster Course was transformed into the Quartermaster Academy.

After the revolution, the Quartermaster Academy was reorganized into the Military-Economic Academy of the Red Army on March 15, 1918, and from October 1920 it was merged with the Higher Naval Financial and Economic School into one higher educational institution and became known as the Military-Economic Academy of the Red Army and the RKKF.

In 1924-25 The Military Economic Academy was reorganized. Its faculties were transferred to other educational institutions.

However, such decentralized training of logistics and transport officers did not justify itself.

Therefore, the Military Transport Academy was created in 1932 in Moscow and the Military Economic Academy was restored in 1935 in Kharkov.

Since 1942, the academy became known as the Military Academy of Logistics and Supply.

In the post-war period, an urgent need emerged to organize comprehensive training for logistics and transport officers in a single multidisciplinary university.
Since June 1, 1956, the Military Academy of Logistics and Supply and the Military Transport Academy have been united into a single one - the Military Academy of Logistics and Transport.

On July 1, 2012, the Military Academy of Logistics and Transport was renamed the Military Academy of Logistics and Technical Support named after Army General A.V. Khruleva.

Since September 1999, the Military Academy of Logistics has been training cadets with full military special training, and since September 2010 with secondary military special training.

Currently, the Military Academy of Logistics Support is the leading educational, scientific and methodological center for logistics support of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, training highly qualified officers, cadets - logistics specialists for all types and branches of the military of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as well as for other Federal executive authorities in which the legislation of the Russian Federation provides for military service.

The structure of personnel training at the academy is currently focused on training officers and sergeants for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the border service of the FSB of Russia, and the armies of countries near and far abroad.

Logistics specialists, teachers and officers transferred to the reserve also undergo retraining and improve their skills here.

A large team of qualified, experienced teachers and researchers works in the departments and laboratories of the academy and its branches.

The Academy carries out a wide range of scientific research on topical problems of organizing logistical support for troops in battle and operations, develops and publishes military theoretical works, monographs, textbooks and teaching aids, scientific and technical collections, newsletters and other educational, methodological and scientific works , used in the educational process and practical work.

The academy's students, through selfless and exemplary performance of duty on the battlefield and in peacetime, wrote glorious pages in the construction and strengthening of the Russian Armed Forces, in increasing their combat readiness and defensive power.

The academy implements the following educational programs:
