Magical work in general, and specifically the work with objects and artifacts, which I want to consider in this article, it seems to me appropriate to divide into two approaches - mystical and magical. In the second, we are dealing with different positions of consciousness, their management, the logical development of the necessary concept of work, the operation of knowledge, logic, skills and experience, orientation to the external. In general, this approach appeals to consciousness and reason. The first approach is more focused on working with the inner qualities of a person and acts through emotions, sensations, intuition, the unconscious.

Based on the first approach, we can change objects, turning them into working artifacts, endowing them with various qualities, for example, the qualities of the elements or planets (6 lesson-elements, 8 lesson of the first year of HCO - making planetary fetishes). Focusing on the first approach, we can invest in the subject a piece of ourselves, our emotions, attitudes, our energy. In fact, the first approach is familiar to each of us and is unconsciously (well, or consciously) used by every person throughout his life. Let's remember the children who call their toys by name, hugging them, going to bed with them, treating them as if they were alive (key phrase), car enthusiasts who often give names to their “iron horses” and treat them accordingly, favorite things for many people and similar examples surrounding us are, in fact, everywhere.

In this article, I will not describe the creation of items by methods used in the second approach, such as planetary fetishes, although I also practiced this. I would like to draw your attention to the application of the first approach to this issue. I will give examples of my own assistant artifacts in the chronological order of their creation with the history of manufacture and all the operations performed. You can evaluate the results and similar points in them below.

1. The first object to which I wanted to give sacred properties were runes. I made both the Futhark row and the Vendian rune row at the same time. The process was complex - choosing a type of wood, selecting a specific tree, bringing a gift to it, instead of a cut piece of a branch. Cutting and processing of blanks were postponed for several months until the necessary mood appeared (time was not critical). When making them, one felt a spiritual uplift, joy, pleasure from the manufacture and polishing of each rune. Also, simple pyrography and varnishing were carried out with accommodation. After the physical readiness of the runes, I carried out at home a simple practice, taken from the Internet, of exhaling air on the runes while concentrating and visualizing them saturating them with my own energy and vitality. And the final stage was the ritual of their consecration in the forest, when I got out to my favorite place and there, with the help of the ritual, I wrote in the Agreement that from now on it will be my main working subject for divination. This was followed by a large fortune-telling practice (with Futhark, the Vendian row lay idle for 5 years - I didn’t know how to approach it more correctly) with completely different answers and misses at first, but little by little I managed to get used to and achieve fairly accurate answers to my questions and tips for specific situations. A few years later I sewed bags for both sets. As you can see from my reports, I recently involved the Vendian runes in predictive work, I am satisfied with the results. Runes were used by me not only for divination, but also in difficult responsible, potentially dangerous situations, travel, I often took with me the specific rune I needed at the moment to directly influence reality. After all of the above for me, they acquired their individuality and personality and became a faithful companion.

2. The second group of objects used by me in my work are sickles, used instead of a ritual knife, as well as in specific rituals addressed to the moon goddess. The first sickle is a rustic one, literally from a barn in a private family home. The second one I found in the forest. I did not perform special revival rituals on them, but due to prolonged work, if they did not acquire individuality, they still became a sacred object that fell out of the space of everyday reality, the use of which even without ritual or practice for the purposes of, for example, cleaning immediately leads to success.

3. At a certain point in time, as a result of a rather spontaneous and, one might even say, random practice, I had a spirit ally in the form of a bird. This is a separate large and personal story, in which we are now interested in only one moment. Literally the next day after the practice, I had a strong desire to go to the store and buy a beautiful figurine of some bird, picking it up to my taste. Having linked such a desire with the practice and explained it logically, I went to the store and bought just such a figurine, which I liked very much, and, according to the sensations, and its new inhabitant.

4. Here is a wand in the shape of a very pretty snake was given to me by a friend. After that, he found his use as a paired sickle tool for concentrating influences of the opposite property during priestly work. The situation is the same as with sickles - no special work was carried out on the subject, but over time and the rituals carried out, it also ceased to be just a figurine of a snake and gained individuality.

5. Fifth on my list are runes donated to another person. The manufacture of these runes was also multi-stage, where at each stage non-material ones were added to the material ones. This event began with the selection of a tree variety and a trip to the Botanical Garden, where, as if by order, I came across excellent pine branches that had already been cut and had time to dry. Then I tuned in and kept the “connection” at the same time with the runes, with the person and with the process, the idea of ​​making this item “was in the air”, from which I drew inspiration. For example, instead of the standard production of one-sided runes, the idea came to place a picture on the back of each rune, which would reveal the qualities of the rune in a figurative form. In general, the whole time of making runes was marked by an upsurge and a surge of strength and an altered state of consciousness.

After completing the work, I took the runes and headed to the ancient cult circle in our forest, one of the whole complex. Of course, the building itself belonged to a fundamentally different culture and people (which one has not been specifically established, and no detailed studies have been carried out, but it is probably Maikop / Novosvobodnenskaya), but this does not prevent using its power even now, saturating it, for example, Scandinavian runes or any other artifact. Due to the fact that a long-standing relationship has been established with the place, complex rituals were not carried out, just the offering of bread, salt and coins, setting in place and appealing to its spirit with a request to fill the runes with its energy, power them from the circle. 6. The sixth item that I wanted to personalize was a ring, also as a gift. It was already individual, made according to my sketch, I was thinking about how to revive it and additionally nourish it with strength, investing in the task of protecting a person, when a friend called me the same evening and offered to go on an ascent to the top of Mount Beshtau on Caucasian mineral waters. Deciding that this was a very fortunate coincidence and just what I needed, early in the morning we set off towards our adventures, taking the ring with us. At the very top of the mountain in the cold frosty air and the dazzling Sun, I managed to tune in to the consciousness of the mountain and the Sun and, at my request to them, saturate the ring with the required qualities and strength, correlating all this with my attitude towards a person. It must be said that Beshtau is a very difficult mountain, which at one time became famous for its rich deposits of uranium-238. In addition, on the way we met literally under our feet several stones - cups - the oldest type of religious altars, whose history goes back thousands of years.

7. The seventh item also has its own special history. Once I needed to create a simple amulet at the request and sketch of another practitioner. Literally in a day it was made in wood, and then I carried it at sunset (as it was convenient for me in terms of setting and working the time of day) to the same cult circle on which I work to revive and fill with strength. Adjustment to the place and a solemn call of all the Scythian deities were carried out, the primary result of which were gusts of gale-force wind in the beginning twilight, almost breaking tree branches (before the ritual there was a complete calm). This was followed by an appeal with a request to revive the object, as well as the visualization of the spirit of the bird and a request to him to move into this amulet. (The practitioner loves owls.) Then, near the circle, some kind of animal roared, judging by the sound, one that we should not have. Not attacking, but literally driving me away, literally immediately after the completion of the work, as if waiting for this. While I was walking back, all the time I heard the same roar behind me. In the end, he went out into the field. There was supposed to be a forester's house on it, but he disappeared somewhere. Its vegetation has also changed, from bushes to individual rare trees. In other details and location, it was exactly that clearing, but at the same time completely unfamiliar to me. Having oriented myself by the stars, I went further through the forest and plunged into a thick white fog that enveloped all the trees, in the end, nevertheless, I got out safely. Further communication with that practitioner literally disappeared in a couple of days, and the amulet lay “under the cloth” for a long time and for this reason I felt discomfort from it: from the fact that it was lying idle, and it didn’t quite suit me myself. As a result, it was presented by one of my best friends - a married couple close to me, newlyweds always need additional protection. Such a decision turned out to be, according to my feelings, optimal and satisfied all parties, including the bird amulet itself.

8. The last item I want to talk about in this article and the last one I made chronologically is my ritual knife. For a long time I did not have such a tool at all, and now I have. At my previous job, a factory, a colleague gave me a gift - a knife made by local workers on the equipment of the factory. Here are his initial photos before all the manipulations.

The knife initially had an absolute uniqueness, you can’t find another like it, handmade and fell in love with me from the very first minute, as soon as I picked it up. Taking it, we went with friends to the forest to work. Arriving at the burial grounds of the Koban culture at the Verbovsky settlement, I went down into the group crypt, turned to the Scythian deities and, in fact, the Scythians who lived on this settlement 2 thousand years ago with a request to revive my knife and breathe strength into it. And also the following qualities: to become an assistant in witchcraft and in general in any situation, including dangerous ones, and there would be no exceptions to this. A visualization of the spirit of the wolf moving into the knife was carried out. Revealing the remark made above, the knife was originally depicted with a wolf, the animal and especially the wolf theme is close to the blades, according to some of my bits of collected data, the Scythians practiced the cult of the wolf in this particular settlement (which does not contradict historical realities and animal cults among the Scythians in general) , also for me, for personal reasons, this is of particular importance. The visualization and the ritual were successful and went well, the feeling of the knife has changed, I think that I have achieved what I wanted and now I don’t need another knife. Summarizing my personal experience, there are several ways to create a magical artifact imho:

1) give it the necessary qualities of the elements / planets, etc.;

2) to revive an object either by transferring your energy to it purposefully, or by working with it for a long time, or by invoking some entity or spirit and offering this object as a habitat, as well as simply starting to treat the object as a living being with its own individuality and originality, distinguishing it from a number of similar objects, not too different from each other.

In every house there are items that we like, there are souvenirs that they bring to us. Among them there are also items associated with monetary power or designed to protect the house - amulets. Each item symbolizes something different. These things can be strengthened, revived with the help of this ritual, even for ordinary people. By ritual, we attach a certain force (spirit) to these objects that will serve us. When we feel that they are weakening, we repeat the ritual again. It is better to store them in different places.
Prepare an altar: black cloth, your items (box, figurine, brownie, etc.), three multi-colored candles. Lay out the candles in a triangle, and the objects in the center.

Find a quiet place where you can't be disturbed. It would be better if you immediately determined your future workplace, where you will subsequently engage in magical and predictive practice with the Tarot. Cover the table with a dark matte cloth so that peripheral vision is not distracted by extraneous stimuli. It is better to conduct classes in the dark - in the evening or at night. Lighting - candles, nightlight, but not bright central lights.

It will be much easier for you to work with Arcana if during work they are not in a horizontal plane (that is, lying on a table), but in a vertical one. To do this, make some small and inconspicuous card holder that does not attract attention to itself. The fact is that we are accustomed to live, perceiving the real world standing or sitting, that is, being in an upright position. Therefore, it will be easier for us to animate objects that are in a vertical plane than in a horizontal one.

Choose an image of a simple object, for example, take the Minor Arcana Ace of Cups. Carefully examine the picture, noting only what is useful to you for further revival. Usually, each Arcana has additional symbols that you do not need to memorize at all, since their use is very difficult. You pay attention only to the main figure depicted on the Arcana. In this case, it will be a beautiful golden goblet filled with a luminous liquid.

Take a very good look at this image, then close your eyes and try to reproduce the picture from memory. Remember every detail as clearly as possible. If the image is very difficult to hold or is getting blurry, open your eyes and look at the image again. Try to achieve a clear, stable image. It will be an image of a card on a dark background.

Then imagine that the picture is enlarged, moving towards you, the depicted object takes on the dimensions that, in your opinion, most correspond to it in the real world. After that, you imagine that the image of the object is slightly pushed out of the flat background surrounding it. The background gradually disappears, blurs or simply burns out. You are left with a flat, as if carved, image of a goblet and a hand holding it against a dark background.

Now the object begins to inflate, like a rubber toy, while acquiring the volume and shape characteristic of it. After it has acquired volume, you can fix this feeling by mentally turning it around its axis several times. Then the goblet must be endowed with the quality of density. Give it a weight corresponding to the density of the material from which it is made. In this case, the goblet is made of gold, so it will be very heavy. In addition, the luminous liquid in it will have the same density as it seems to you - it can be heavy, viscous and viscous, or it can play, splash and sparkle like a volatile substance. Together with the density, you determine the qualities of the material from which the object is made. When you imagine the external qualities of an object, you will need an exercise in which you mentally touched familiar and unfamiliar objects. You need to get a feel for the material it is made of, be it wood, metal, fabric, leather, stone, etc. Your skin sensitivity will be involved in this. You must feel and examine the surface of any object being worked on, in this case, a goblet, in the smallest detail.

Hold the created thought form in front of your inner gaze for 2-5 minutes. If extraneous thoughts begin to appear or the image loses clarity, then you need to rest and repeat the exercise after a while.
