My little daughter, having seen another advertisement for chicken nuggets on TV, unobtrusively but firmly asked when we would make them. Even though my daughter is small, she knows very well that our entire family has a negative attitude towards semi-finished products, and everything that can be done on our own is prepared on our own.

And even more so such a simple dish as nuggets. And when I suggested doing them together, the joy knew no bounds - she loves to cook.

For chicken nuggets you will need:

  • Chicken fillet
  • Egg.
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Ground pepper
  • If desired, use your favorite spices.

Cooking chicken nuggets

Everything is extremely simple.

First of all, break the egg into a suitable bowl and stir it well with a fork until smooth. Add a little salt to the mixture.

Cut the chicken breasts crosswise into equal strips. Salt and pepper these strips.

So I highly recommend drying all the leftover white bread and grinding it with a blender, meat grinder or coffee grinder to get your own breadcrumbs, especially since the degree of grinding, in this case, you regulate yourself - if you want, you grind it into dust, if you want, you leave larger pieces.

Place the breaded pieces of chicken fillet on a plate and wait until frying.

Heat vegetable oil in a wide frying pan. It should be hot, but not overheated. If the oil is very hot, the breading can quickly burn, and the meat will not have time to cook.

So as soon as the oil is heated up - this is very easy to check - dip the tip of a wooden toothpick or a match into the oil until the bottom of the frying pan. If small bubbles begin to rise from the tip, it means the oil is at the right temperature.

Place our prepared nuggets on a preheated frying pan. The heat under the frying pan should be medium.

When one side of the nuggets begins to turn golden, turn them over. fry the second side of the nuggets until golden brown.

There are two possible options:

  1. Place the fried nuggets on a baking sheet and finish cooking in the oven.
  2. Cook them completely in a frying pan.

I only cook in a frying pan. Because of this, I keep the heat under the frying pan slightly below medium so that the meat has time to fully cook and the breading does not burn.

I turn the nuggets a total of 4 times. That is, I fry it 2 times on each side.

  • 1 chicken egg;
  • 4 tbsp. l. breadcrumbs;
  • 4 tbsp. l. wheat flour;
  • 1 tbsp. l. soy sauce;
  • 1 clove of garlic;
  • 1 tsp. ground paprika;
  • ½ tsp. turmeric;
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil;
  • salt - to taste.

How to cook:

  1. Rinse the chicken, pat dry with paper towels and cut into small pieces (approximately 5 x 2 x 1).
  2. Prepare a marinade from soy sauce and chopped garlic. Pour the meat over it for 30 minutes.
