7. It is advisable to memorize the words of the psalm, but first, you can use a prayer book.
8. Your family should not interfere with this sacrament, therefore, you need to choose a place where no one will disturb you.
9. During reading, the church candle should burn. You can clean the room ahead of time with incense.
10. Read deeply, putting your whole soul into it, opening your heart to communicate with God, filling every word with love and gratitude. Remember: it is not our words that are heard, but our feelings and emotions.
11. Before you start reading, remove all extraneous thoughts from your head, sit for a few minutes in silence, tuning into the sacred action. Silence should be both outside and inside you.
12. This turning to God should become a daily need. It is better to read it in the morning, when the world awakens from sleep and prepares for a new day. But, there are times when protection or guidance on some matter is urgently needed, or danger threatens, then reading can be started anywhere and at any time.
13. You can repeat the reading of the psalm for those who cannot do it themselves - for children, sick relatives. You need to do this for 40 days in a row, 40 times.
