How to connect Jabra?

A wireless headset is a very handy device that allows you to talk on the phone hands-free. Jabra headsets are the most popular today - they are reliable and at the same time inexpensive. In this article, we will talk about the features of this headset, as well as how to connect Jabra to your phone.

Options

The Jabra headset can receive and manage multiple calls at the same time, including putting a call on hold and switching between a held call and an active call. In addition, Jabra supports voice commands and allows you to quickly make a call to the last dialed number.

Turn on the headset

  1. Set the On/Off switch. to the On position.
  2. Insert the headset into your ear.
  3. Press and hold the Answer/End button until the blue Bluetooth light flashes and the headset beeps to indicate pairing mode
  4. Then follow the voice guidance to set up.

Connecting a phone to a headset

  1. Activate Bluetooth on your phone and start searching for available devices.
  2. When the headset's network is found, select it and enter the passcode found in the headset's documentation. As a rule, these are four zeros, however, the combinations may vary depending on the specific model.
  3. Wait 15-30 seconds, the connection should be completed.

Radius of action

Remember that the range of the headset is 30 meters, do not move away from the phone when talking at a greater distance. Also, if you hear noise in the headset during a call, try moving closer to the phone. If the phone is already at the closest possible radius, the problem is most likely an insufficiently high-quality signal from the telecom operator.

Jabra Assist

Jabra Assist is a dedicated smartphone app that helps you control your headset, provides GPS tracking for your headset, helps you when trying to establish a connection between your headset and a device, and more.

Jabra headset: how to connect and coordinate with the phone, the setup procedure. Convenient functions and characteristics of the wireless bluetooth headset.

Wireless Bluetooth devices greatly increase the mobility of users, freeing their hands, for example, while driving a car. Lightweight and practical Jabra headsets are therefore in high demand among drivers. However, the use of these gadgets is much wider, as many people have to talk on the go, or while working at a computer.

Connecting a bluetooth headset allows you to combine two devices into one, greatly expanding the capabilities of each of them. In particular, Jabra bundled with the phone has the following features:

  • answers calls;
  • ends calls;
  • rejects unwanted calls;
  • performs voice dialing;
  • puts the call on hold;
  • turns off the sound;
  • redials the last number.

It should be added that the Jabra headset is able to connect via bluetooth to two devices at once. In addition, it provides high quality sound, the so-called HD Voice. And all this with a weight of only 8 grams - an amazing compactness in relation to the possibilities.

How to connect and set up your Jabra headset

  1. First of all, before connecting your Jabra to your phone, you need to charge the batteries of both devices. Although the headset provides at least 6 hours of talk time, you should not forget about timely recharging.
  2. For further connection, you need to turn on the bluetooth on the phone. The headset itself will automatically enter pairing mode the first time you turn it on, so you don’t need to do anything with it.
  3. Next, through the phone settings, you need to pair it with Jabra. The phone will automatically detect a new bluetooth device, you only need to confirm its connection.
  4. If the phone asks for a passcode, you can enter the passcode 0000 as it is set by default. After that, you need to add Jabra to the list of trusted devices.
  5. If you are unable to connect your Jabra headset the first time, you need to press the answer/end button on its body and hold it for about 5 seconds until the bluetooth indicator starts flashing. After that, repeat the previous paragraphs.
  6. The Jabra and phone pairing process only needs to be done once. In the future, the headset will connect automatically.

You can visually see how to connect a Jabra headset to your phone in the video below:

The Bluetooth headset for the Jabra BT2045 phone is one of the most reliable gadgets in the budget price category, which perfectly copes with its function. Despite its low cost - about 750 rubles - the device is multifunctional and efficient. The gadget does not have any extra options, however, it does not need them: it does its job perfectly without them.

Equipment

  • Charger.
  • Bluetooth headset.
  • Instructions for Jabra BT2045.

In the line of devices manufactured by Jabra, this model is one of the cheapest headsets. Using the Jabra BT2045 as an example, it is perfectly clear why the products of this particular company are selling so well and why other competitors in the same price segment are not so popular. More expensive counterparts are significantly inferior to this model in terms of functionality and sound quality. Judging by the user reviews left on the Jabra BT2045, the headset is one of the best in its lineup.

Gadget design

The packaging of the headset, unlike other, more expensive analogues, looks unpresentable: small size, coupled with emptiness inside without various attachments, cables and additional arms - only the device itself and the power supply to it. Despite the obvious savings of the manufacturer, the appearance of the gadget is very attractive. The case is made of matte plastic, on the surface of which no traces remain, and the seam along which the halves of the device are glued is not noticeable. There is a microphone hole on the front panel, a microUSB connector on the back. The speaker is covered with a metal mesh. The design of the headset is ergonomic, simple and strict, not overloaded with unnecessary details.

The headset is distinguished by compact dimensions - 25x35x16 mm - and low weight - only 10 grams. The strap is not attached to the device. The software at home is not updated, but a similar feature is not needed for an inexpensive product.

Ease of use

The Jabra BT2045 headset is very easy to use: the earpiece is thin and easy to remove, the silicone pad is replaced with foam rubber, and the device itself can be worn with or without the earpiece. The gadget does not fall out when running or physical activity, which is why many users prefer to purchase it. The design of the device is considered almost perfect.

Exploitation

The front panel of the Jabra BT2045 has a single multi-function key with an indicator light that changes color from blue to red depending on the mode of use. The LED is very bright, it can be seen at a fairly large distance. How to connect the Jabra BT2045 is described in the instruction manual that comes with the headset. The first turning on of the device is accompanied by automatic operation of the pairing mode, due to which the gadget is immediately found by the phone. You don't need to worry about how to set up your Jabra BT2045 - the connection is automatic. The downside can be called too bright and clumsy indicator, which is noticeable at a great distance. There are no other keys or buttons on the body of the gadget, including the volume key - this can only be done from the phone. There is also no automatic volume control feature in the headset.

Meals and working hours

In standby mode, the gadget operates for two hundred and forty hours, in talk mode, the operating time is reduced to eight hours. The Jabra BT2045 comes with a full charger with a short cable that connects via a microUSB connector. The gadget is charged from the computer for two hours from the charger.

Despite the fact that the claimed operating time of the device is eight hours, in fact, in talk mode, it operates for about six hours.

Sound quality and cell phone connectivity

The headset works at a distance of 4 meters from the phone. Easily and quickly connects to various smartphones, including the iPhone. The sound quality is not quite perfect, but in quiet conditions everything is perfectly audible. The only negative is that the interlocutors note that the voice on the headset sounds metallic, while other people can be heard perfectly. While using the headset, you have to deal with an echo, and in a noisy room you have to repeat what was said several times. The ideal environment for using your Jabra headset is in a quiet and peaceful environment free from outside noise.

The multifunction key allows you to turn on voice dialing or dial the last caller. The Mute function is not provided by the manufacturer.

Benefits of Jabra BT2045

  • High quality of reproduced sound, despite the fact that the model belongs to the budget category. Jabra maintains high quality regardless of the cost of products: the sound during a conversation is clear, high-quality, without third-party interference and noise.
  • Ability to work with two devices at the same time.
  • Long battery life. The headset works in talk mode for 8 hours in active standby mode - up to 10 days. You can increase the operating time by pumping the battery of the device.
  • The presence of a microUSB-interface for charging the gadget from a computer.

A separate advantage of the headset can be called its convenience and the ability to use drivers behind the wheel. The device fully complies with all safety requirements while driving. Exceptional ease of use and complete freedom of hands allow you to easily, freely and safely drive the car, while taking calls wirelessly - both hands will be located on the steering wheel, respectively, the driver will always have control over the car.

Disadvantages of a Jabra headset

  • Equipment. The whole meager set, which includes only a USB cable, is not even a charger.
  • Short range - at a distance of more than 4 meters, communication is distorted by interference. However, five meters is a sufficient distance for most situations.
  • Inconvenient design of the device. It is uncomfortable to wear the headset on the ear for a long time, in addition, it does not have the best design. It is best to use a silicone cushion - it keeps better in the ear, but it is not included in the kit, so you will have to buy it additionally.
  • No volume buttons. On the body of the headset there is a single key that is used to accept and reject a call, and a long press of it turns the gadget on and off.

The Jabra BT2045 Wireless Bluetooth Headset is an excellent accessory for those who are looking for a quality, reliable and affordable cell phone headset. Despite the fact that it belongs to the budget category, its quality of execution and work efficiency are maintained at a high level.

Jabra's compact headset lets you answer calls efficiently while keeping busy with your busy schedule. The accessory has a pleasant and intuitive interface and design, is easy to use and connects to any smartphones and cell phones with Bluetooth function. Pairing with mobile devices is quick and hassle-free.

The laconic and ergonomic design of the Jabra BT2045 headset body provides comfortable and convenient use of the accessory due to the fact that it can be worn with or without a special hook. The appearance of the wireless headset is attractive and original, the control of the gadget is simple and intuitive, which greatly simplifies the reception of calls in wireless mode. The low cost is also an advantage - the Jabra BT2045 headset will appeal to many users.

Does the Jabra TALK work with other Bluetooth enabled equipment? - The Jabra TALK is designed to work with Bluetooth enabled mobile phones. It can also work with other Bluetooth devices compliant with Bluetooth version 1.1 or higher, as long as those devices have headset and hands-free profiles. Call rejection, call hold, redial, or voice dialing do not work These features are not available depending on whether your phone has a hands-free profile. Even if you have a hands-free profile, call rejection, call hold, or voice dialing may not work as they are not supported by all devices. For more information, see the device's instruction manual.
